Which is a prime example of why this quiz is bull sh--. I'd like more regulations of some parts of TV, radio, and Internet, and less regulations in other parts. Which one do I choose?

Yes, the man who has 605 bundlers and 17 lobbyists contributing to his campaign despite claiming he takes no lobbyist money hates corruption. That was my reaction too. WTF, Obama stands for everything you are against. God I hate votes off of personality. It's the bane to our society. Woo, let's vote off of something we perceive through the marketing materials of a candidate, rather than having a critical discussion of what they want to do. Obama is smart! Well, I haven't met him, I haven't seen him speak outside of his handlers, nor do I really know sh-- about him, but I know he's smart! How refreshing it will be to have a smart guy in the White House!

lol... 96% libertarian. I will say though, I would ahve been rated much less libertarian if those questions didn't suck. There were a number of questions where I wanted to increase half of it, and decrease the other half.

All of the academic research I've read says that he doesn't really even do much with AQ anymore. He's more of just an icon. The entire network has been decentralized as to become stealthier. So, yeah, is it really worth it?

Depends on the level you're going for, though. Most congressmen are at least somewhat connected before they enter into politics, much moreso than your average person.

I'll have to read it later (sadly, need sleep for work tomorrow), but the fact that Intrade reacted to exit polls is an example of what I said. That being said, I'll have to look into intrade as I don't know the specifics of intrade versus typical market prediction systems (and I acknowledge that it could be that fastly reacting). Yeah, I'm of the opinion that it's going to be a blowout. My opinion's slowly shifted from a solid Obama win (with a small chance of McCain coming back) to a blowout barring a crisis. I think you'll see the race tighten up a little in some states (because while Obama's ground game is good, I'm not sure the Dem's first well organized ground game in forever can compete with the Republican's), but I'm not sure its going to make an overall difference in any of those states (and thus steal electoral votes), leading to the blowout.

The country already pretty much is an aristocracy, due to the huge barriers to become an elected representative.

Sadly, I won't be attending the game in Lubbock. Still, while I'm fairly confident the Horns are going to win, I know for sure that if they don't come out and play to the best of their ability that they'll lose. Texas Tech has an excellent team that plays to the weakness in the Horns' defense.

Not exactly true. Political science studies of polls vs the market predictions indicate that the market predictions actually lag behind and follow the polling trends, not the other way around.
