    Here is a link with some of his teammates comments about hisArticle mentioning Winborn leaving Comments from Fred Beasley: Fullback Fred Beasley, who has done time in the coach's doghouse this year, said, "It's very surprising.     So you rate a GM by the use of one draft pick?? How about using criteria like getting to the playoffs(sorry Donahoe) or actually winning a Super Bowl? Or criteria like getting maximum value out of the majority of draft picks? Look at Baltimores number one round draft picks...it reads like a pro-bowl roster.. 1996 Jonathan Ogden 1997 Peter Boulware 1998 Duane Starks 1999 Chris McCalister 2000 Jamal Lewis 2001 Todd Heap 2002 Ed Reed 2003 Terrel Suggs/Boller 2004 none 2005 Mark Clayton Thats a pretty good track record to start. As far as obtaining players being classy......if that is your main criteria for rating a General Manager....maybe shoud go on Martha Stewart's The Apprentice with the other ladies. I prefer The Donald Trump approach.

    as per another message board- Mike Francesca from Mike and the Maddog radio show on WFAN in NY said that the Cowboys contacted the 49ers about Jamie Winborn but were told that the Bills were close to acquiring him and were rebuffed.

    Nice try smarta##!! He DOES NOT perform the same role for the Patriots that John Guy does..no matter what the title says! Each team in the league has a boat load of imprtant sounding titles for various executives. The bottom line is hie role for the Patriots is alot closer to Donahoes role with the Bills than John freakin Guy!!

    Where is the fire from McGahee? Where is the burst? Where is the power? Where is any hint of receiving skills? Where is a hint of blitz pickup/blocking skills? Where is the stiff arms? Does this relate to Travis Henry being traded away in the off-season?

    Agreed....In my view ESPN has gone downhill...or at least I know find the station irritating. Does everything have to be point-counter point.....with a screaming argument sure to ensue? In comparison I like Rich Eisens' approach on NFL networks. He tends to give the viewers the information they are looking for witthout all of the hype.

    Apparently...they are out of tickets. Anybody know of anyone not using their tickets for the practice. I would like to go with some friends. Also...are tickets really needed?

    Anybody else find it kind of creepy that Wilson extended Donahoes contract last year and only now is it finally leaking out? I mean... who are we Bills fans to expect to get this type of information sooner?The bottom line is this franchise has been built on our backs....don't we deserve better? Is it Wilsons embarassment that he extended a G.M. who under his watch the Bills record has been a paltry 26-38? Or is the won loss record no longer the bottom line? It seems to me that Wilson is now suscribing to the bunker mentality management style that Donahoe uses. If only we knew what Wilson, Donahoe and Modrak know ....then we too could lead a team to a 26-38 record after four years!! Yikes!!
