The first five games would appear to be brutal. After that, in the remaining 12 games, six of them are against teams that at the very least appear to suck. We end the season against the Dolphins and Jets which is not tough to take.
As a Bills Fan I am not thrilled by starting the season against very good teams. Does anyone know if it is better or worse to play the best teams at the beginning of the season rather than the end? It would appear to me to be a good thing but I have no data to back up this opinion.
In any event, as we all know things change. Some players will improve and play perform better that we expect. Some players will get injured in preseason and be out for the year. Others will age out and hit that proverbial wall.
In summary, I am (at least at this point) not upset by the schedule. We play six games vs. teams that I rate as very good and another six vs. teams that I think suck. if we get through the first five games relatively unscathed, we should be just fine.
As always, jmo.

1) Josh Allen Bills. We are lucky to watch this great. super talented, HOF QB.
2) Nick Saban Era Alabama Crimson Tide. Pure excellence, and the ultimate great leadership that will never be duplicated in college football. It is no longer possible.
3) The Billy Martin Yankees
4) Here is a ringer....the draught Bills. It was a strange era, in that many fans had a much better idea of how to build a team than the Bills leadership. My daughters could have got together and put forth better drafts than Levy and Jauron, let alone people like @BADOLBILZ. I went to quite a few games and suffered, but the fans suffered together. We really did appreciate wins, and many were unexpected. The fans were the best part of game day. Truly loyal and enthusiastic folks, many of whom I am still in contact with. Hopefully #1 on this list will deliver us a title. If he does, the happiest folks will be the one I partied with in this, #4.

I may not always love you
But long as there are stars above you
You never need to doubt it
I'll make you so sure about itGod only knows what I'd be without you
If you should ever leave me
Well, life would still go on, believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me?God only knows what I'd be without you

I was once homeless for 8 years and living on the streets, all strung out on meth, coke and heroin.
I had a lot of back and neck problems and the prescription painkillers weren't working anymore and one thing led to another and i traded everything in my life for everything that was wrong for me.
Not the greatest time of my life, however, i turned things around, reclaimed my life again and have been clean close to 20 years now.......and THAT is what i'm the proudest of.
Waking up one day after an 8 year self-induced hell and asking, "WTF am i doing" and then trying to find the strength to start clawing your way back. Many don't and i lost a lot of good people along the way to recovery.
Trust me, if you've never been there, you don't know how fragile the eco system of your life is and how easily some bad decisions can completely alter your existence..........to have it all, lose it all and then to start all over from scratch.
That is pretty amazing. Big time congrats and keep it going!

When I got promoted at work I was proud because my daughters were at the ceremony.
That said, if I had to pick one proud moment it would be when my oldest daughter graduated from Dartmouth College. I knew that she was a special kid who could do something like this. I'm just an old street guy from Queens. I never finished my Associate Degree and went back to school. I still have 2 classes to go. This kid speaks seven languages and got free tuition to Law School. I made up my mind that my daughters would not have to work under the conditions that I did and stressed education.
On her graduation day I stood on the green and when they called her name I saw her walk up smiling and get her degree. I thought that I was prepared for this but I was not. I almost collapsed and had to lean against a huge tree. Watching my daughters graduate from colleges were the proudest moments of my life by far. It made all of the things I had to see and do seem worthwhile.

I got a certain little girl, she's on my mind
No doubt about it, she looks so fine
She's the best girl that I ever had
Sometimes she's gonna make me feel so bad

I don't care
Yeah, you got the muscle
I got the newsYes dear
How did you know?
Can't you see our love will grow? -
This question is impossible to answer. If one player had 21 sacks, who is to say that he would be the only player on the defense sacking the QB?
Will Anderson is probably the best defensive player in football. Teams must account for him and it frees up his fellow defenders to sack the QB.

The Allen turnover narrative has not only been fake, its actually the opposite in many respects ...
Allen has 1 more int than Brady in 8 years of starting. Literally 1 more int.
And Brady didn't play as a rookie.
Allen also has the lowest int percentage in nfl playoff history.
Allen has a 2.3 int % for his career. Brees was also 2.3 int %
Allen has a dramatically less turnover % in the playoffs to even Montana.
Allen also went 6 straight playoff games without a turnover. I believe thats a nfl record.
In 2024, allen set an nfl record for the least amount of negative plays in nfl history. Ints, fumbles, and sacks.
A few media outlets kept repeating over & over again that Allen was this turnover machine and it kinda stuck.
Its a bizarre narrative
Hes a natural gunslinger so that reputation follows him
He also didn't always have great receivers.

I definitely don’t feel bad for him, but I do feel bad for his wife. I’m sure that she goes to most if not all of the games and I can’t imagine how she will feel seeing the signs and all of the ridicule.
The children will also feel it for years. I must however admit that it is easier on kids when they are rich but it will still affect them.

Friend come by, say looking for his hat
Wants to know where your husband's at
I don't know, he's on his way to the pen
Come on pretty mama, let's get on the road again
She's on the road again, sure as you're born
Natural born easy on the road again
She's on the road again, sure as you're born -

I don't knock it and I'm sure I would laugh if I was at the stadium, but I don't think I would harass him like that. I mean he has probably awakened by now from his male menopause delusion and now must deal with the pain that he caused his wife and children.
I don't really feel sorry for him mind you, but he will be remembered as a dirtbag and a scoundrel for the rest of his life, and his kids will be affected for many years by what he did to them. His wife is hurting now but she will feel better after the divorce settlement.

A failure of morals... a failure of judgement.
This, and the probable fear of the money it would cost him, as well as the anger it would create in his children if they were to come forward. The thing is, many people in the throes of midlife crisis think that they can get away with this type of behavior for as long as they choose. Sometimes they just might pull it off too, but; from what I have seen time and again they get bit in the a$$.

If he has two young kids, he is out 25% just in child support. At least that is the situation in NYS (although it can change for higher incomes). He lives in Tennessee so it might be less. Whatever the amount is, HE has to pay tax on it, not his wife. She will almost certainly get to live in the house (we don't want to uproot the children) and he will probably have to pay for some of the upkeep, child care, and who knows what else? Alimony? Health benefits? Legal fees?
I'm not saying that I look like young Brad Pitt but I just don't think that she is all that hot. Even is she was, is she really worth the millions upon millions of dollars it will cost him? When guys hit male menopause and suddenly find their "soulmate," it generally doesn't end well and I have seen dozens of similar cases.
As I said before, male menopause is NOT pretty.
Edit: PS: I estimate the chances of these trysts being alcohol fueled to be more than 90%.

I will no longer reply to people who have never agreed with me and just argue with me everyday
Go bills
Why stop there? You should block everyone who disagrees with you, and check out each post on the board to see if the poster EVER held a different opinion than you on any topic. I mean, enough is enough!!!

I am not surprised. If McDermott was here he most likely signed him to a huge contract, and taken him on a lunch date to chat and reflect upon draft day, 2017.

I would say in the first superbowl against the Giants, we got beat by better coaching. I can't say they were more talented than us on either side of the ball.
Better coaching no doubt!!! There were other factors:
1) They ran on us for 170 yards. Wright was a good player but way too small to play nose.
2) The Giants had the ball for 40:33. Thurman was kicking ass and we kept passing.
As you say, coaching played a huge part in #2. Parcels and Belichick were 100x better than Levy and his crew.

I agree. I liken him to Flutie with a better arm. I know that players have got bigger since Flutie. I also know that Pavia seems like a bit of a jerk but truthfully, so did Flutie to a point.

The Bills didn't pretend he was his boss. He was his co-worker. They were at the same level on the org chart.
But Beane ran personnel. He always did from the moment he arrived after the 2017 draft. And he always had final say.
Do you see the contradiction?

There's nothing unusual about the GM signing players that fit the HCs vision for the team. The unusual part is everyone trying to absolve McDermott's role in the roster construction (except apparently the good players...who were 'developed' by him lol)
I know, I cannot understand this.

And the hot sun chills me to the bone,

And I can't tell my pillow from a stone,
I will walk alone by the black muddy river,
And sing me a song of my own.
