  1. Appliance warranties I’ve purchased, have never used. I figure the cost into what I’m willing to pay for appliance. I did try using it on a Westinghouse fridge, but the inner shell isn’t covered. Biggest POS fridge I ever bought. Cars? Every time on a used car. I work out what I feel the car is worth via Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds. Make my offer including the extended warranty at half the quoted cost rolled into one number. As long as I feel comfortable I’ve gotten the deal I want, I’ll get the car with the warranty. Use it once, it probably pays for itself and then some.
  2. It’s what happens when you have an elite team. Good players don’t make the roster and good coaches leave. Not bitter at all.
  3. And? What does this have to do with adding a guy to help bolster our defensive staff? If it’s pointing out what a failure Beane is as GM? Doesn’t work.
  4. Heartbreaking. Administering CPR is a very difficult task to do properly knowing you need to save the life of the person you are working on. I couldn’t imagine giving CPR to a family member like that, especially if it for the first time on another person. Kudos to her daughter for being able to do so! My wife in 2013 had a cardiac ablation to fix her Atrial Fibrillation. During an ablation they snake a wire through your arteries to the heart and “zap” little parts of the heart muscle to eradicate the irritated areas causing the uneven heartbeat. During this process, my wife suffered a “mild” stroke. My wife had left sided weakness and more than moderate expressive aphasia. It took 6 months of hard work for her to get back to work, and continues to have very mild aphasia to this day, especially when she is tired. What scares me is when Jessica wrote “Now we come to the realization that all of that is most likely gone. That she won’t be able to be that person anymore”. There is a period of recovery where you see the most recovery, and then it levels out. I hope and pray that Kim will have continued improvement and regain as much of herself as she can.
  5. I believe in Beane and McD. I need to see what Beane does this off-season though. Will he be able to fill holes and keep players we need? Will he draft a few starters in key positions, and add quality depth? Can he hit on a few FA’s that are cap friendly? Will he “mortgage” the future, or manage the cap without causing future problems? If he can score a WR2, interior Oline, Dback depth and either resign Edmunds or replace him with a good player and I think we would be set for next year. Big shopping list, but let’s see what Beane can do.
  6. Destroyers were a blast to go to. Had season tickets for them and had a heck of a lot of fun. Don’t see why they wouldn’t do well here. Tickets would be cheap enough to broaden the at game fan base.
  7. Not sure why we look at players like Fitz and believe they’d want to coach? Dude has a great gig right now and made a lot of money playing football. Don’t see why he’d be motivated to be a coach.
  8. Kinda surprising. Problem in Dallas isn’t offensive coaching, it’s Dak. He’s just not a top tier QB.
  9. Exactly. With no timeouts and game clock almost out, there is no way mahomes turns up the field for extra yardage. IF that is what the defender thought. I believed he knew he was out of bounds and pushed him anyways.
  10. I agree game anglelooks suspect. It was the sideline camera shot that showed it better, IMHO. I wanted neither team to win! If someone had to win, it was the chiefs…I’m sorry to admit.
  11. Just saw sideline angle. It wasn’t a body slam hit, but he certainly didn’t pull up and took him down out of bounds. Clearly a personal foul.
  12. I agree game speed. But NFL players are keenly aware of where the sidelines are. He knows the angle mahomes is taking is to go out of bounds many yards before he lays hands. Should have pulled up.
  13. Then tell the defender to not even touch the QB on the sidelines like he did. It was a clear penalty.
  14. Someone better remind the bengals and Brrrr-oh to cancel their reservations!
  15. Does that include the rookie starting QB getting hurt early on? Not able to throw the ball? Niners had a real chance to win this. If not for the 3 and 4 and outs, the Eagles wouldn’t have scored as much as they did. Much different game if Niners play their style of game and defense isn’t behind the 8-ball.
  16. Easy to say when the game is over. If he’s not hurt, much different game and Niners very easily could have won.
  17. I can’t bring myself to watch this game. Had respect for the bengals, but after apples shenanigans and burrows statement about refunds, can’t watch them. Despise the chiefs a smidge less. For me? Unwatchable.
  18. Like I said earlier, didn’t really care who won today. Had hope the Niners would win as they’ve been a team I’ve liked since Montana. Gonna be tough rooting for the Eagles, but hope they have enough to put down either AFC team. After todays performance against a quarterbackless team…not impressed.
  19. She past warming up and has been full throated warbling for some time.
  20. I hope so. Concerned this year the cap is truly an issue for FA’s
  21. I feel the Niners were the better built team to have won the Super Bowl versus the Eagles. Hope I’m wrong. I really don’t want to watch another game go so badly from what I was wishing for.
  22. That’s what I’m hoping for. All these handoffs seem to prove he’s done.
  23. The first pass he threw on the quick out seemed a bit lackluster. Still need him to try. Especially if it won’t cause further injury.
  24. I wouldn’t say rock solid. Hadn’t turned it over, but hadn’t been great.
