If their careers as Bills ended this offseason, are either Poyer or Hyde Bills WoF worthy?

    Yes to both.  Easily.

They both helped change the culture.  And Hyde made arguably the best play that I have seen live in that stadium having attended hundreds of games.  To get that pick against NE in the WC game given where he came from on the field . . . It was breathtaking.

  2. I didn’t buy into the malcontent narrative before this year.  Now, I’m more open to the idea.  At the very least I sense he’s a headache.  I know some people who have dealt with him and—take this for what it’s worth—I can see how he would be an extremely difficult and grating co-worker.

It's Adam Henry who was the OC for Les Miles at LSU back in the day when Beckham and Landry were coming out. He has been in the league a little while now, has bounced around a few spots as WR coach including working with that pair again with the Browns. I think his is a position that should be under scrutiny.

Agreed 110% on Henry.  WR probably was our worst position group last year.

Hate to say it, but Chiefs are good, plus they get the calls.

    Patriots 2.0 😑

I hate them both.  It was a little easier to stomach the patriots because Brady had class.  I don’t like people who douse the commoners in champagne (Brittany), or act entitled with women (Jackson, allegedly), or act like classes jerks to our guys after a loss (Pat).  The last one was so insulting that it would threaten the friendship if I was Josh.  Just a whiny, spoiled, entitled family.

Yeah, maybe he doesn’t fit stylistically.  But I think we are going to have to entice a guy with some question marks to come have a healthy season with Josh Allen on a one year prove it deal, then secure your bag elsewhere.

I agree with this thought.  One year, career rehabilitation contracts are in order on that side of the ball.

I don't think his cap hit is prohibitive in a trade. In that scenario Diggs $18M-ish next year puts him at 15th overall between Ceedee Lamb and Justin Jefferson with the freedom to walk away. I think that would be good value for a team with a young QB and a lot of cap space.

If this team wants to move on from Diggs I think they can and even get 'some' return on it if they want.

I think it’s about what Josh wants at this point.  If Josh wants him back, they’ll figure it out.  And if Josh wants to start fresh without what seems to be the headache, then they’ll find a way to replace him with a younger, cheaper player.

The "this close" hand gesture to Allen on that bomb was such a clown move.

That's a "pat your chest , my bad" gesture.

Totally agree.  Clown move is the best way to put it.  He was right about Allen having to knuckle down last year.  And now he has to look in the mirror and figure out what it is that isn’t working on his own side of things.

KIncaid is going to be a superstar.

Shakir has all the making of a top tier Slot WR with inside/outside flex.  Should have had 2 TD's yesterday along with making multiple tough catches.

Why do we need to sign big name WR's?  This draft is loaded.  Diggs would be perfect for teams with cap space and/or Dallas if they want to fulfill that fantasy.

RD1/RD2 give Allen a couple WR's like Green Bay has while knowing we bring back a very good OL with a trio of Kincaid, Shakir and Cook.

This is why I’m not morbid about the loss yesterday.  It hurts, and it’s one less year to win the Super Bowl.  But from where we were at 6-6 to the long-term outlook, I feel great.  I really do.  We gotta re-load on D.  But this year we discovered the second generation, if you will, to work with Allen in Kincaid, Shakir, and Cook.  Look at the Ravens and Lamar Jackson.  They may well win the whole thing this year.  Sometimes it takes awhile.  And it has for us.  But we are gonna have a look at this for a long time coming, and those changes will only improve once we shed the Miller and Diggs contracts.

    There's a chance.

I didn't believe it would be on the table prior to this post-season, but I think this off-season might shock some people.

The Bills can clear cap, and maybe it's not to re-sign guys.. maybe it's to reload through the draft and get younger.

This.  All day long.  To beat KC we have to get contributions from younger, cheaper talent, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.  Many are down on this season because we didn’t win the whole thing.  The outcome hurts, but we’re in good shape moving forward.  We need to refresh the receiver room, but the offense on the whole is well-positioned for the future.  We discovered this year that we have a burgeoning star in Kincaid, and a stud slot receiver in the making in Shakir.  Cook arguably is a star.

On the other side of the ball, LB is set.  Corner is set.  We’re going to get younger in at least one safety position.  Oliver is a stud.  There’s some work to do on the defensive side of the ball, and the Miller contract hurts.  But all things considered we’re in good shape.  White, Hyde, Davis, maybe Siran Neal, and maybe Morse are goners.  But that’s OK.  The pieces are there, and we are going to be back next year.

A lot of us took Diggs side over the summer.

    I was one of them.

But sorry.. you have to then back it up with actions.  And Diggs went from WR1 to WR3 second half of the season and then drops the filthiest dime of a deep ball in a Divisional Game.. after, once again, getting murked by Sneed all game.

I miss the “I’m him” Diggs, because i have no idea who that guy reppin 14 is out there anymore.

Me too. He was right last offseason.  But he didn't hold up his end this year.  At all.  That drop was killer.  I don't know if it cost us the game, but man he's gotta have that.

Weird how that foot pain made him drop an 80 yard bomb right in his hands..

He gotta have it.  It took THE WHOLE GAME to set up that shot play.  And it literally went right through his hands.

  11. That drop was killer.  It took all game to set up that shot.  Just inexcusable.

on the bright side, Shakir and Kincaid are studs. We’re really not that far away.  This hurts, but we had a MASH unit on D and overall the game plan was really effective.  We just couldn’t close at the end.

Big news on Taron. Although undersized, he is our best answer for Kelce. Also going to need a big game from the front four tonight. If Ed and DQ-J can control the A+B gaps it will make life easier for the combo of Dodson/Williams/Klein to diagnose and make plays on Pacheco in the run game.

I think Ed and Daquan are the key to the deal today.  I really do.

Do we have corroboration here or is this hearsay?

    Did anyone else pay $150?

Was anyone told that parking was $150?

I'm in a bit of a state of shock on this.

I know those guys at that store.  I don’t doubt it for a second.

Supply and demand.  You can imagine that most private parking has 5 feet of snow in their front yards.

A lot of them were plowed out as of yesterday.

No.  You’ll get towed or ticketed.  Unless you’re in that little nook across from stepping stone.  Which is not a bad idea.  Also beaching it at stepping stone might work, too.

I parked for free. Same place I do every game.

I’m gonna guess either Airmont (where you will not get a ticket) or the MAC (where you’re likely to get a ticket today).

Any tips for tomorrow's game?  Usually park on Big Tree Rd but wondering how many will actually be available after all the snow?

Stadium lots.  Should be better than last week.  Based on how the sheriffs had Abbott closed yesterday, I think the bills will open the bus lot to cars for this game.  Should create hundreds of additional parking spots.
