  1. Still trying to figure that out...I'll let you know
  2. I thought I had saw this before....but yeah it wouldnt suprise me to see him ask for that much...If we wouldnt pay for JJ, no reason in Hell to pay for LJ.
  3. We got about the same out of Gandy for less money...Granted..depending on the price Shelton is looking for, I wouldnt mind grabbing him at LT and moving Gandy to LG and Bennie to Left out.
  4. Sign him up, we can run the "Run and Gun" Offense with him
  5. Thought you guys would enjoy that...man I miss WVU Here is a few more reasons....Girls of Morgantown 2006
  6. Another classic from AD Definately take him to a sabres game, only thing in town worth cheering right now.
  7. As of right now, and this is pre-combines, looking at the current draft board, I'm very interested in trading down a few spots and hopefully grabbing a decent pick or 2 to go along with the a mid first rounder. I like Ngata, but not at #8 and with players like Gabe Watson and Rodrique Wright also in this draft I grabbing a DL at #8 might be a mistake. Same with OL, #8 is too high to grab a lineman unless D'Brick is available I really like Jimmy Williams, especially if we lose Clements and can't find a deal to trade down. Michael Huff wouldnt be a bad pick either at #8. With that said, the combines dont start til February 22 and I think it is too difficult to really create a draft strategy until the senior games have been played and the combines are complete and you get a little better look at the FA picture.
  8. Boras represents many of the top players in baseball, usually the best free agents over the past few seasons and the Sox still won the WS I can see it being a bit different for football due to the sheer amount of starting players per team. However, his method of promoting his players to get them more money tends to be a problem a lot of times, i.e. players holding out for bigger contracts in non contract season, having players my public announcements of their greatness or guaranteeing this and that. After a while it turns players into monsters, i.e. TO. The whole mess with Owens really started when he started whining over a contract he had just signed less than a year before. I know its not like that for all the players he represents, but it just seems that the bigger the name he represents, the more problems they cause for teams. To some GM's that can be a major turn off
  9. Why doesnt that suprise me. The guy is a jerk, but he does make money. I wonder how long it'll be before a team stops signing anyone represented by him, kinda like the white sox GM Kenny Williams refuses to negotiate with any player represented by Scott Boras, baseball's Rosenhaus
  10. ESPN just reported the Minneapolis Star Tribune states that Brad Childress will be named the Minnesota HC tomorrow. I really thought Ted was going to get his chance finally this year.
  11. Definately sexy in my book....oh to be that cell phone in her commercial
  12. Learn to read... I said GW and Lebeau...meaning together. If I said GW ran a great defense I wouldnt have mentioned Lebeau. Of course the defense the GW had on his own was a great one right??? He ruined it, it wasnt the lack of quality starters in 2001 or anything was it?
  13. GW and Lebeau ran a great defense...which makes me wonder, how good of team could we have had without Kevin Killdrive running the Offense
  14. I like Washington too, and think if they can pull off the upset of TB they can go deep into the playoffs. However, I think TB's defense is just a little too much for Washington
  15. crap you are right...misread the bracket....grr, now I gotta fix it
  16. Glad to see AVP finally gets his chance to coach. Good for him
  17. AFC Bracket Jacksonville at New England - NE wins Pittsburgh at Cincinnati - Pitt wins Pittsburgh at Indianapolis - Indy's passing attack is too much for the Burgh New England at Denver - New England picks apart the Bronco's secondary for the win New England at Indianapolis - Indy pulls off the big win by shelling NE for 400 yards in the air NFC Bracket Carolina at NY Giants - Carolina wins Washington at Tampa Bay - TB wins Carolina at Seattle - Carolina wins by shutting down Shaun Alexander Tampa at Chicago - Tampa shuts down a weak Chitown offense for the win Carolina at Tampa - Carolina's defense proves to be too much for Chris Simms to handle Super Bowl XL Indy vs Carolina Indianapolis wins Super Bowl XL in a hard fought game. Edgerrin James is named the MVP after a stellar performance. He will be the difference maker for the Colts. Well those are my picks, how about you guys? EDIT sorry about the last bracket...hit post before I previewed and my editing didnt work here EDIT: Fixed Pittsburgh playing Denver instead of Indy
  18. Metallica S+M is a good one. Eagles have a couple good ones
  19. Definately a miracle. Big salute to those who work underground and in such dangerous conditions to keep this country moving along. Prayers go out to the family that lost something that can never be replaced. Country roads, take him home to the place that he now belongs.
  20. It would be more like grumpy old men
  21. I told you all there was a mole....remember I said I saw Fred Savage at the airport???
  22. According to the channel 7 news, Wednesday Ralph Wilson will be having a press conference regarding the future of the bills and that Tom Donahoe will no longer be a part of it. can't believe no one else posted this yet...I saw it about 2am. they also said, they believe the announcement will also name Tom Modrak the new GM. Nothing was said about Levy returning to the team or MM's status as HC
  23. that is a WVU tradition that I never quite understood. We burn a couch for big wins...but now its not just couches, but chairs, mattresses, dumpsters, cars...pretty much anything flamable. Not that I endorse burning the town down, thats a bit extreme.
