  1. At least we now know we can run 3 plays in under 10 seconds. Should help down the stretch.
  2. Wow! This team is baaaaaadddd
  3. Not sure how that was a catch
  4. This should be interesting
  5. Well that was short lived.
  6. Exactly! I'd be more worried if it were 3rd and 20!
  7. McD probably told him not to score too fast
  8. No, McD practices those situations all the time. Heck, he practiced 12 men on the field for a FG try 3 times that week before Denver...
  9. I say we fire the RB coach next...
  10. Watch them give the ball back to KC and KC scores again.
  11. Even with a lead it feels like the season just ended...
  12. If I'm the opposing coach I tell my OL to false start at least two times to make it 1st and 20. Guaranteed first down.
  13. Well that wasn't good
  14. Same here. Hope it ends fast. still 3:00 left
  15. Not sure why it's a "strange" take. Who knows if Dabs would have stayed or moved laterally or even got canned. Obviously none of that happened, but there was clearly bad blood between the two and they didn't seem to end on a good note. Perhaps "went through" another work relationship is more fitting?
  16. Am I the only one that keeps reading his name and pronouncing it in my head as "dune" even though I know it's pronounced "dun / done"?
  17. I'd also add that McD also went through 2 OC's, 1 DC, a special teams coach, and a WR coach in the span of what...just over two years?
  18. 12 D chess. McD did his best to hurt the Pats* draft position. it's...brilliant
  19. I'm afraid to emoji this for karma reasons, but that was my first thought...
  20. I thought it started when the TO was called right before the snap but the play actually went off and gave the kicker another attempt. Not called before the kicker even lined up for the kick. Not sure it works in either scenario, but I thought that was where "icing the kicker" really came from. But, what do I know, that's just where I thought it came from initially. Hey! Hey now! How dare you! (gretta thunberg quote). McD loves the prevent defense. He practically uses it all game! Keep the play in front of you! If you play 40 yards back the play is always in front of you, so yeah, that.
  21. Posted in the wrong thread. Pasting it here and apologies if it's already been talked about in this thread: I'm wondering how much influence McD had on the last scoring drive in regulation to milk the clock. I'm guessing it was his call to "not score too fast", like he said about the Broncos game. In my opinion, you score fast there so that you have time on the clock if you need to score again (which they did). I think the younger coaches of the game today would have went for the score regardless of the time on the clock knowing they would be in a better position with more time on the clock at the end of regulation. This is more just of a thought and wondering what others here think about that scenario. Could have had more than 20 seconds on the clock at the end of the game.
