I must say i am very pleased with this deal. the NHL gets a stronger deal then they had offered to them by ESPN. they also will be the cornerstone for the OLN channel. thus high priority will go to the league and the sport. unlike on ESPN where i felt the sport was considered second rate. with the NHL having marquee players going form one team to another and a slew of roster turnover in general. and with the leagues fresh new landscape, fresh new system of parity, new logo, etc. i think changing stations will be a clean sweep of the old and huge step into the new. i am loving this deal. i just hope that the real hockey guys like melrose, darren pang, bill clement, gary thorne, jon bucigrose all (or at least some) make the trip to OLN. cant wait for the puck to drop.

Solid player, who I'd like to see get a real shot. LaDaris Vann.... from CU. I'm from Ohio, so I know a little about him. Would like to see him get a real shot also. What are your thoughts?? Does anyone think we will try to sign a vet or FA in the summer? Or will we stick with the group we currently have?

today on the Dan Patrick show on ESPN Radio, Dan listed a number of players and whether or not Pasq said they should be inducted. Pasq is one of the 38 voters and he immediately said NO to Reed. Also no's to Art Monk(which is total bull sh--)! but yet he put heavy thought into whether or not Ricky Watters should be in!! ummm huh?? any thoughts??

i wrote.... what is with the negative attitude towards jp losman? calling him a bust before he even he gets his shot. sure i may be biased, as i am a bills fan. but this kid has all the tools to become something very special. and with the great coaching staff and players around him, the foundation is being set for him to reach his full potential. though it will take a couple years until we really know, if he is the real deal. your ignorant comments in calling him a bust, before he even makes his first NFL start, says a lot about your knowledge as a sports reporter. i hope in a few years he blossoms into a great QB, making you eat your crow. and proving just how much of a dick u really are. regards mike

im not saying that a DT or depth at DT isnt important to have. but i must say we do have 2 glariing needs. a CB for depth and the future and also an o-lineman. we need either a center or a tackle plain and simple. at 55 ill take spencer or terry over any DT. And if somehow Cory Webster were to fall or another solid CB, ill take them also. now if we make some moves and acquire multiple picks in the 2nd, then yea, id love to have Castillo. great college player, should be a solid pro. but our needs at OL and Cb far outweigh our needs at DT.

i dont get it!! sure we could probably use some depth, but for God sakes we have a pro bowl calibur player in Adams. and 2 very servicable guys in Ron Edwards and Tim Anderson. And mind you, Anderson was our 3rd round selection last year (or was it 4th?). It is NOT a dire need for us. We need a CB more so. And an o-linemen certainly is a head of DT in order of need. Obviously a lot can go on between now and this weekend. Henry could be traded for a high second(I hope). Clements, who the hell knows whats going on with that?!?! but Kiper, ESPN Insider and all of these other "experts" saying we need a DT first and foremost is ridiculious!!

yea on a crappy Giants team. if he had the talent around that the bills have, things would be much different for him.

hey look man, i dont want a QB like that either. but im being realistic, thats what bledsoe is now. and since he is was our best option, we had to play to his strengths and weakness. now that we have an off season to do something about it, lets do so. cut him, trade him, anything. bring in warner and let JP learn one more year. we are too close to being a contender to take steps backwards. which is what we will be doing with jp in next year.

now i am no bledsoe homer by any means, but nor am i a bledsoe basher as many of u are. i tend to think im level headed and rational enough to be nuetral. so here is my unbiased view on bledsoe..... as much as i really thought he was capable of managing a game well enough NOT TO LOSE. remember he doesnt have to win for us, just dont lose. he isnt supposed to pull games out of his butt like mcnabb, favre, vick, etc. he is there to just manage the game well enough to not lose. anyway, look at the games he did well in statistics wise and they were all against below .500 teams. any team we played that were top notch or above .500, he blew it. patriots twice, steelers, jaguars. only decent team he did well against were the seahawks and rams. and they are both overrated. i swear i wish he could have turned the corner and been good enough to not lose for us when we need it. but i dont even think he can do that anymore. real QB's are made to win. but if u have a defense and running game like the bills, u can afford to have a QB who just wont lose. if he cant do that, its time to go. though, he did not lose this game as many of you bills fans are saying on the message boards. lindell blew a chip shot and changed the whole momentum of the game. saying that when bledsoe fumbled and the steelers scored a TD off of it and thats really what ended the game, that the loss is his fault. thats not true! they blitzed like 8 guys, a guy came free and nailed him and he fumbled. sh-- happens. so thats not why im saying he needs to go. but the ONE game(THE ONE !@#$IN GAME) he needs to just manage the game well enough to set us up not to lose, he doesnt get the job done. its time to go Drew sorry buddy! im with u until the wheels fall off. its safe to say, the wheels are long gone. is jp the answer next year? i dont know! i think we need a veteran who can win now and continue to teach JP the ropes. one more year on the pine for JP wont hurt. I wouldnt mind having Kurt Warner who is being rumored on the board. he did pretty well with a Giants team that isnt half as talented as the bills. whats the one thing u guys all B word about? drew doesnt have a pocket alarm, he holds on to the ball too long. well warner has a quick release(from his arena days) and not only can manage a game well enough not to lose, he can even pull out some wins. why not go after him??

my point exactly!! we need a vet besides drew and give JP more time to learn the offense, practice, etc. he will get crushed next year! its a lose-lose for us cajunbills said earlier.
