Well, no hyperbole in that statement 🤷‍♂️ Like most cities (Buffalo included), you need to know where you are and more importantly, where you shouldn't be and you'll likely be ok. The only time I was real nervous in NO was when I was in a club, literally, w the Young Money crew and some guys they didn't like came in, I pretty quickly had the thought "This is where the naive guy from Vermont gets shot...". 🤣

BTW, if anyone that *is* interested in NO wants to read a good book on the pre / during / post Katrina food scene there, check Tom Fitzmorris' Hungry Town. Made me want to hop a flight and have a meal at Galatoire's or Commander's Palace...
