Following the EJ Gaines road?

Why millions of casualties, and not hundreds of thousands like a super charged flu? Are you accounting for the increased deaths that the massive quarantines are going to lead to? Drug overdoses, suicides, family stress? By the same token, why use Italy as the example? By any objective measure it's a statistical outlier, especially since Lombardy's experience isn't replicated in the rest of the country. Same with Washington State, which jumped early, but is now in regression. The available data shows that this is not a runaway virus. You don't have to believe China's official numbers. But would Apple reopen all its stores in China AND in Wuhan if people are dropping dead? Why is the US supply chain saying that Chinese factories are returning to a semblance of normal staffing? what's their incentive to hide the numbers and lie?

Is Levitt's thesis being proven in our own eyes?

He's the most likely cut candidate because there are a lot of mouths to feed on that DL. Bills lost 3 starting/rotation DLs from last year's season end lineup (Shaq, Phillips & Liuget), and are adding at least 4 starting/rotation DLs in '20 (Addison, Jefferson, Butler & Harry's return). Plus, Bills have to address a developmental DE in the draft. The math doesn't bode well for Murphy

Or the rookie pool. Not having a 1st this year will help a bit Oops it does include $5 million for the rookies. -
It is, on purely statistical basis. As I said before, it's not in China's interest to suppress new cases, because that would open them up to much greater questioning on either the virus's origin or having the cure.
-
B-Man's link of the Israeli's scientist's analysis (above) and his view that the virus will naturally cycle through in a relatively short span. Was a plausible explanation of why China's cases essentially dropped. Of course, I'm willing to wait until Rosanna Arquette offers her guidance.

They locked down ONE province you moron, out of a country of 1.4 billion.
-
Finally a scientifically plausible explanation why China infections peaked. Extrapolating to the US would get us mostly clear by May?

None of the recent FAs have signed longer than 3 year deals. Most are on 2 year deals. Beane has excelled in adding help on 1yr prove it contracts and then move on Star and Morse are really the anomalies. -
Who supplies the essentials? How do the supermarket shelves get restocked? Who delivers the items? Who makes the items that are delivered? Where are the raw materials coming from? etc. The only people who could get shut down from venturing outside and not affect everyone else's lives are people who sit in front of their computers all day.

Bills Sign Mario Addison on a 3 year deal
GG replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Murphy is a true edge rusher in name only. You won't sit Hughes or Addison in pass rush situations to play Murphy. Murphy now drops into Shaq's role as the rotation piece. -
Now, he signs?
-
That's why you have to be super careful about his advice. BTW, how are those critical services going to be restocked, if everything else is shut down? Once you start unraveling the onion of the supply chain, you will recognize that the only people who should really be chained to their home desks would be Wall Street desk jockeys.

That would be Addison. Jefferson is the Shaq replacement. Of the new guys, who sits so you can play a below average Murphy? -
He was pretty apocalyptic. In fairness, people like that should bare open their full investment positions if they are going on airwaves to propose solutions.

You're half right, I was off by $1 mil on his pay. He has a $4.5 mil base and $500k in per game bonus, bringing his total to $5 mil due in '20. I still disagree on Spotrac's dead cap classification, because they're lumping the injury guarantee into the dead cap. If he's traded or cut before he gets injured, there should be no cap hit for that guarantee

Unfortunately, the Waddle news wasn't real. He's still UFA -
What is your explanation for why new Chinese cases stopped cold, when the spread of infections is supposed to last up to a year?

Bills trade for Diggs - jw no discussions on a restructure
GG replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again, I'm not offering an opinion of who did better or worse. Just providing an alternate measure to value the trades for people who are providing an opinion. Another way to look at the compensation is to ask whether a team would trade a #22 for #40 and David Johnson?
