  1. Or you can answer a simple question.
  2. Worse. You’ve acted like a six year old. Like holding somebody to a literal interpretation of an obvious hyperbole, but refusing to provide an answer to a simple question to provide the exact words that Trump used with regard to HCQ.
  3. Again, this is easy to say in retrospect. But as of February, the progression of the virus was slower and less lethal than previous China-borne pandemics or MERS. I’m sure that in those cases, there were many people inside the administration who were warning about an all out crisis if the pandemic truly crossed the ocean. There are always these kinds of analyses and reports about the possible outcomes. But, it never happened. Therefore with the varying opinions in Trump’s administration, the response was based on recent case histories, not on the worst case outcome. You also should know that nobody puts a plan in place based on a worst-case scenario, until there’s a pretty high probability that the worst case is about to hit. That’s why there was no urgency from ANYBODY in government at any level or health officials at any level to start taking more critical measures in January and February, until Italy blew up. That’s why everything came to such an abrupt halt on March 12. The oh ***** moment came. It’s fair to say that Trump’s administration didn’t count on the worst case scenario. But, nobody else did either. What they knew and when they knew will be an interesting debate for a while when this nightmare is over.
  4. I think that the senior Iranian leadership will disagree with you.
  5. Takes a long time to process 9 million options, you know. On another positive note, looks like NYC has bent the curve. Intubations down to 70/day, from 200-300 last week. Sufficient supply of PPE in hospitals.
  6. Boris Johnson out of the hospital, but wont yet return to work. Will be interesting to hear the treatments.
  7. These threads would be much shorter if he just admitted "Trump said it"
  8. Are you saying that HCQ isn't primarily a malaria drug? As for lupus and arthritis, is it the mainstay medication for those maladies? Are there alternative treatments? You know, unlike Albuterol.
  9. Oh, don't get him started on Prednisone. He probably also doesn't know how it's used for acute asthma.
  10. Not according to Scraps apparently.
  11. So let's hold off on giving medicine to critically ill patients until the politicians and media tell us it is safe. BTW, what exactly did Trump say to trigger you? Trump recommended it, basically.
  12. Quick, how many lupus and arthritis patients died because of lack of available medications in the last month?
  13. Like this Trump supporter? Funny how doctors in the field in NY are showing positive results in live cases and saving lives, but everything should stop because Trump endorsed it.
  14. No most definitely a gun. Without bullets.
  15. It's the equivalent of throwing a gun at a tank.
  16. And yet it's not the only treatment for those ailments, while albuterol is the main asthma rescue medicine. But because Trump didn't tout the virtues of albuterol in treating Wuhan, nobody cares about its shortages for asthma sufferers. TDS is quite the syndrome.
  17. Now that you’ve heard about it, why don’t you start a crusade? Seems to be a much more critical risk for US residents than a shortage of treatment for their malaria, no?
  18. Well for starters, you refuse to provide Trump’s words that triggered you. Second, your biggest concern about the HCQ/antibiotic combination is that its off brand use will deprive regular users of the drugs if supplies run out. Yet, you could care less about a possible shortage of another drug that’s used in regular Wuhan treatments. Just for kicks, are there more malaria sufferers in US or asthmatics? Or you simply choose to pick your outrages when they’re blaring on TV?
  19. Hypocrite. So again, tell me exactly what words that Trump said that are so objectionable and get under your skin?
  20. Do you have the same problem with Wuhan patients needing high dosages of albuterol, such that there’s a concern of shortages for millions of asthma sufferers?
  21. Suffolk County is not dense at all, yet it had the fastest growing infection rate in the area, and that happened after the March 13 lockdown. Bergen County isn’t dense. Why didn’t the spread continue downward in NJ counties beyond immediate NYC commuters? Why didn’t this happen to the Philly suburbs? NY is not the only major metro area where people rely on mass transit. Italy has a good health system that got overwhelmed by hospitalizations. Germany never got overwhelmed because a much smaller proportion of infections needed hospitalization. Why the difference? Why wasn’t neighboring Switzerland overwhelmed? There are still more questions than answers in the randomness of this virus.
  22. This is the tack you’re taking after 10 pages of arguments, that a news article describing a TV appearance isn’t sufficient. Here you go Sue, video footage. Next you’ll probably say that it’s not Harris on that clip. I’ll repeat. What exactly did he say that is so objectionable?
  23. The article was accompanying the video of Harris on a news show. You don’t characterize a Senator calling Trump a drug pusher, as way to object his recommendation for the drug’s use? Really? BTW, what exactly did Trump say about the treatment that’s so objectionable?
  24. Well since you don’t find a video of a direct quote by a prominent politician criticizing Trump’s position on the drug, I’ll ask you exactly what you found objectionable in what Trump said about the drug?
