  1. There’s a lot of wrong in this post. Just because you work in product development doesn’t mean you know the history of internet transport. What you’re describing is exactly what critics of net neutrality have been warning for a decade. Because the tech firms don’t want to pay for wholesale transit, the increased costs of maintaining the networks will eventually get passed on to the consumers. Good job.
  2. Actually, it’s par for the course for Promo. Facts and own research are superfluous.
  3. Search function is your friend. In a nutshell, net neutrality is a fake issue invented by the large tech firms who don't want to pay their share of internet transit. It has nothing to do with ISPs blocking websites. The tech firms exercise far more control over content than ISPs.
  4. Wonder what the reaction would be if US arrested a Russian operative immediately after the summit concluded?
  5. Not quite. There was a large band of Democrats who understood very well the red danger, until they died out and were replaced by McGovern acolytes.
  6. I guess you never heard of Scoop Jackson Democrats.
  7. Do you care that Trump threatened Putin that he will increase USA's nuke stockpile to combat Russia?
  8. Yes, I feel lots of pity for Google and Facebook who were the leading proponents of net neutrality. Learn the facts first, then post
  9. ... and we're back
  10. Just the nature of this response is proof enough that you're clueless about net neutrality. The claim is that the ISPs would somehow block content (for reasons that don't make sense in the real world). Yet in practice, it's the content owners who exercise greater control. But why let that get in the way of horrific rulemakings?
  11. No one ever in the history of the NFL
  12. This is your litmus test? That a politician cares more about the people than his reflection in the mirror? And that Trump is the most guilty of them all? The only difference between him and the others is that he lacks the gene to hide his narcissism.
  13. Is that because they can't dance like that Hassidim?
  14. The guy who misplaced Hillary's plane tickets to Wisconsin
  15. Replace McCoy's name with a random drawing of another NFL star and what are the odds that the story will be similar?
  16. Funny how most of the people complaining in this thread also support net neutrality.
  17. People may differ on the motivations of senior administration officials to stretch the truth in their public pronouncements. But few people should differ on whether they're always 100% honest & transparent.
  18. But FDR did go to Yalta and sacrificed tens of millions of Europeans for 2 generations. Open up a history book, people
  19. Very sloppy of you. The only implication that Porter is the prime suspect came from a random Albright post, that hasn't been corroborated by anyone else. If he was the prime suspect, Cordon would have ID'd him.
  20. Farewell to another original fan site. Great job Steve. Hope our paths cross again. Never forget 9/11.
  21. We are certainly not indispensable to the rest of the world.... ... If the rest of the world knew how to act independently. But as it stands, the world still needs the US very badly.
  22. She'd get paid a heck of a lot more if allegations were true.
  23. There was a throwaway scene in Weeds where Nancy watched a few lanky blondes escorted through a smuggling tunnel from Mexico into the US. Clearly, not just fictional artistic license.
