Tebow Commercial Airing During Super Bowl
Kipers Hair replied to OrangeJuiceSimpson's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It is his right, but I get your point - perhaps the right question is - is it smart for him to do the ad? As I understand him, his Religious conviction is pretty strong, so I am sure there was no question with him about doing the ad. If he pulls a Pat Robertson and starts saying the Hatians deserve the suffering they are going through because they made a deal with the Devil...well, I would be concerned about his frame of mind... -
Buddy...that you?
-
Perhaps you are right about Sully – while I agree with his points, he at times can write drivel to sell papers. Said, I will defend the notion that Nix disrespected every writer and their credibility when he said 80% of what was written was pure fabrication, essentially calling every sports writer a liar. If you cannot understand why he defended his institution and profession, I question your integrity in the workplace. What Sully did is akin to a hockey player nailing someone on the other team after they took a shot at your team mate. You stand by your teammates.

Kudo's Pipe - Again and again, this organization seriously is treating their fan base like the organ grinder’s monkey - they crank the grinder and we dance to earn the grinder man pennies. Dance monkey…dance! It truly saddens me. I have been a Bill’s fan going back to I guess when the Juice graced War Memorial…and you are right. Take out the team Polian built – this organization has been nothing but an utter failure. The only constant has been Ralph Wilson. Please – to taste the success Oakland has experienced is what every denizen of this board craves. To compare the Bill’s to the Raiders insults Raider Nation if anything. Keep writing your truths, perhaps one day we will be proven wrong.

Defensive Sully Fires Back At Nix
Kipers Hair replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seems to me the denizens of this board are the defensive one's. Sullivan is clearly articulating what the Bill's as an organization are doing - and what many of us said they would do to the fans. You keep watching the team with those rose colored glases on, sipping your KoolAid and telling yourself it will all work out. We will be doing this same dance 3 years from now if Ralph is still the owner. -
Maybe Canadians will think Galey is Cowher...That is funny eh?

Anyone know where Gailey was living when we snatched him up? Any private flights from WNY, Metro Detroit, etc., actually visit his locale before yesterday - can you go back and see when they arrived at this apiphany? Also - while you are tracking flights - let's see where they'll get the new DC from....start tracking and piece together what candidates are at the destination cities....If anything, maybe it will distract us from the trainwreck...

How much does Gailey help Marshawn Lynch
Kipers Hair replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes - you are alone. Lynch needs to grow up. I am hoping that the fact he moved back in with hs mother straightens his ass out. He's a blunt away from a year off.... -
The guy is a winner...I agree tier one coaches were never really in play, but please admit, there is s large part of you that is disappointed by the hiring of Chan. This guy was on nobody's radar - and for good reason. Get on the bandwagon and shoot for the stars - just be prepared to pull the rip cord when the ground comes rushing up at you come week 6 or so....

My God - Old Ralph's hypocracy know's no limits. Anyway, since we have already grabbed are cumulative ankles - what's left? The Sodomy of Bill's Nation?

My Farewell to the Buffalo Bills
Kipers Hair replied to StupidNation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Friend - I applaud your clarity and hope you stay true to your convictions. You are right, the old man has treated all Bills fans like a trained monkey. Fetch the coins and I will give you a peanut Bills fans! I am sorry to see you go, but I wholly suppor tthe decision and wish you well. Enjoy your new found freedom. -
I heard his comments on the Gailey hiring and he was spot in. - Bill's fans deserved better - This hiring will scare nobody in the division - A disappointment after this "extensive search" Spot on.

Am i wrong for being excited for next year?
Kipers Hair replied to zer0vette's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is this what the big man meant about pestilence? -
Nix mentioned that he received around 15 calls......
Kipers Hair replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kipers Hair was one of those for sure.... -

Yeah - deception! This will be fun.... -
Like it or not, time to get on board
Kipers Hair replied to SpecialK15's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really take pity on you. Are you really believing your blind faith will yield results? Trust this - they will blow next year. -
Did anyone see something as bad as this coming? I for one, did not. I know the kind hearted Bills fans will find some positive to latch on to, but what has happened today was completly out of left field and worse than I thought they were capable of doing. Perry Fewell - replaced with Gailey - wow a step down...a big one down. Big name or not, this guy is fodder at best.... I feel for you.

Thanks - that made me laugh.

Let's be overzealous and close every post...
Kipers Hair replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unless you are a mindless sheep folling the rest of the flock, prepared to be stifled.... -
because they believe he is the right choice? The day fans dictate football decisions, it's time to sell. I may not like the choice, in fact, I laugh at it, but I would never presume that my voice would carry meaningful weight within the organization....
-
Perhaps they would be kind enough to offer a ball gag and leather zipper mask to the first twenty thousand ticket holders. Bill's fans have been beaten, mislead and held for ransom and my heart does go out to the true Bill-ievers who certainly deserve better than this. Your post was prophetic if anything - As you say - assume the position.

What will make you renew the NFL Sunday ticket next year
Kipers Hair replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely nothing. Hoping 2011 beings me back.... -
I kept tabs on the post below from Pass-The-Pipe for when the head coaching announcement appeared to be upon us. That said, again, I salute this maven of the board - DEAD ON. That said, from a week or two ago - Bend over and grab your collective ankles because the big one is coming commando style from OBD within the next week or two. I have a feeling last week was only a tea-bagging with the Nix hiring compared to what is going to happen next. I can not believe the constituents of this destitute organization keep on digging even though rock bottom has been hit a long time ago. Forget the pipe dream of Cowher or Billick, it will never happen. Does anybody realize Shanahan took a three million dollar pay cut per year ($15 mil over 5 yrs) to join Snyder’s Third Reich (Buffalo’s supposed $10 mil. per yr. offer)? Let’s see, a jackass of an owner, the Modrak and Guy comedy act, a Billy Mays clone as CEO, a 70 year wildcard as the “football man,” a dilapidated stadium, a roster that would be challenged in the Big East Conference, no nationally televised games, daily headlines from liquored up billionaires claiming they are going to buy your team, 7 home games a season, and nowhere for the wife to spend money or get a tan and we wonder why Brandon and company are always flying to interview the candidate instead of the other way around? I can careless about the ESPN Power ratings because this is the worst team in the NFL and statistics prove it. Brandon has been part of the hiring of Jauron, has not made one playoff appearance, traded a now three time Pro Bowl 27 year-old left tackle away, drafted Aaron Maybin (honestly, the worst pick I can ever recall), signed free agents like Fowler, Dockery, and Walker, supervised other horrid drafts like Ellis/Whitner/Lynch/Hardy, led the league more than once in IR fatalities, and what does Wilson do, promotes the man! This is like promoting the skipper of the Exxon Valdez to Admiral of the U.S. Navy or replacing the Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke, with the CEO of GM or Chrysler. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised given this is the same guy that fired Polan, Butler, and A.J. Smith (one is dead, RIP, the other two are permanent fixtures in the January football sweepstakes)? I see many of you have bought into Buddy’s gee I am an old football guy routine. I, on the other hand, am very concerned with what I have seen and heard so far: fires entire staff with no head coach nailed down (maybe Brandon thinks he can rehire them on the cheap like Gibran Hamden??), apparently was present when the Maybin card was sent up to commissioner Goodell (probably had a senior moment given he is six years short of the average male life expectancy in the U.S.) (I do give him credit for at least trying to distance himself from that move), and says at his presser he needs an experienced coach to turn this thing around, however his first two interviews are anything but experienced and both are Tampa 2 guys, which isn’t exactly cold weather power football? Are people starting to get my drift that another OBD circle jerk is about to be sprung? The only billboard we should be posting is begging Ed Roski Jr. to take this dead carcass off of the great city of Buffalo’s hands. I recommend the air traffic controller wannabe on this site change his focus to u-haul vans headed to LA for which we should be celebrating!

SEASON Ticket Holders...
Kipers Hair replied to billnutinphoenix's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a sad but true reality of the NFL, Buffalo style.
