  1. Good ole Sierra Nevada is 5.6% ...always a good bet.

:) Yep. my beer of choice when I'm having more than 1 or 2. I must say that SNPA just doesn't measure-up if I switch to it after having something like a Mojo or Stone 60/90. It's certainly acceptable if I start with it though.

  2. Like the Southern Teir as well, can actually get it in the Kroger here, but thats right around 7% i think. I gotta feeling that the way IPA's are brewed hard to be under that 7% number.Hear nothing but good things bout all of their beers

Just checked their website and it's 6.9%. Hey, that's under 7!!!

  3. I've been an IPA fan for years and have tried an awful lot of them. My absolute favorite, believe it or not, is brewed right in good old Upstate NY - Southern Tier IPA.

I just looked at one of the bottles in my fridge (using all of my will-power not to open it yet) and the alcohol content isn't listed. I'd highly recommend this brew. :w00t:

Not sure where you are located but I can buy it down here in FLA at Total Wine.

    Good luck!

  4. Idk....

    but consider this:

In one of the scenes where mol checks to see if shes asleep or in the real...tthe top keeps spinning and never wobbles on its axis. In the last scene, we can see the top wobbling on its axis. But if it is real..............why the hell are kids wearing the same clothes?!

Right! It was definitely wobbling. And the kids were exactly the same age, same clothes, same position in the yard - even though it was some indeterminate time since Cobb left the US. You're either on to something or on something (apologies to the Common Man).

  5. I'm starting a different thread because I don't want someone to read this if they haven't seen the movie yet.

So, in the last scene, do you think the token stopped spinning or to Cobb, it really didn't matter???

Usually, those types of endings really bother me (see Sopranos). But in this case, it was almost appropriate.

    Great movie!

  6. So, I got called today from the Bills ticket office and the message from Chris Brown said that I will be patched in to a conference call with Freddie Jackson, George Wilson and Chris Brown. It's an open discussion about the state of the Bills and all I have to do is standby on my phone at 5:15 pm tomorrow. Any else get this?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, this is gonna be real good. LOL. Poor Freddy and George. My first question is going to be.....Why isn't Russ Brandon in on this call?

Very interested in how this is gonna go.

    Yep. I got it too.

  8. Let me get this straight, You attack someone for not being a fan but you cannot be attacked for being a Lemming?

Spend the green how you want to, I was just offering a more reasonable alternative in these tough economic times.

    Enjoy YOUR '09 Buffalo Bills!

Never once said anyone wasn't a fan. Maybe questioned their sanity for posting on this board.

    Tough times indeed.

Since they'll only be MY Bills next year and not yours, I'll go back to my original question, just directed at a different poster: Why are you here? Certainly not to share your rapier wit.

  9. 6 of the 8 in my group have decided to finally give up our tix. That being said, I think you should be able to do whatever you want with your tix. But I dont understand the sense of entitlement that you have as some "SUPERFAN". Why are you and others on this board better than any other Bills fan? What you call "loyalty", I call "Lemming". Who cares if you fly 1800 miles to come and watch a football game! Quit with "You're not a fan" BS because who the Eff are you...The Fan Police? Why don't you just stay in Hell Paso and pay someone to kick you in the nuts every Sunday, it will be a lot cheaper.

Never claimed to be super fan and pobably should have left that part of the post out. I only included 'cause the original topic was concerning season tickets.

That being said. who the hell are you to question how I spend my money?

My entire point was if the poster I quoted feels that strongly about the direction of the team and feels it necessary to trash season ticket holders who want to renew, then why bother being on this board at all?

Say your peace about the team and how it's run, cool. Don't spew garbage about those of us who choose to support the franchise with our dollars.

  10. Great, we need people like you to drink the kool-aid so I can watch at home if I even feel like it. As a former season ticket holder (Sunday being my last game as one, and yes I was there) I can honestly say that this owner and this coach aren't worth my money. It's pretty much that simple. I'd rather take a couple thousand dollars and do something more meaningful and enjoyable and let someone else have my four seats.

This team and this owner have sucked for exponentially more years than they've been good. They've had some of the worst coaches ever. The owner wants to maximize his profit for his family while foresaking the football team, the fans and even more disgustingly the taxpayers who have and continue to foot the bill so he can make his $20-$25 mil person season on their collective back.

I no longer equate the validity of this city or this region with this football team. Buffalo as a city gets no respect nationally because it's a regressive, tax-happy city run by unions and special interests while bleeing populaiton. No football team is going to make that any different in our eyes of the nations eyes. If this football team is all we have, we're worse off tha I thought.

How they can market this coach who was out-classed, out-thought and out-coached on Sundays in almost every game is beyond me. Lots of luck to them. Aside from the continual coaching problem the team faces (let's be honest, DJ isn't going to get better), it has failed miserably in drafting and free agency. The drafting has been poor. Then there is the inability of this team/coaches to develop players. Players from college to the pros can get better with coaching, the Bills seem to get worse.

Have fun with your 2009 season tickets.

This is the type of post that kills me. I just don't get it. Why are you here? Why do you post? Why do you care? Go away. I travel 1800 miles to go to Bills games as a long distance season ticket holder and will renew. After reading your post I just don't understand your interest in this team. If you chose not to support it, cool, fine, GO AWAY. If these are your feelings, great. I'll just assume that this is your last post on this board because I don't need, nor care to read your thoughts.

  11. Here in Rochester it's  You! with a chance of  You! tonight and a deep blanketing of  You! tomorrow.

Rubbing fingers together and playing the worlds tiniest violin just for you.

    Jack-ASS!!

Thought you'd like to know that I finally made it to Ft Myers. 75 degrees with blue skies and a slight breeze off of the Gulf.

I think I'll watch the Bills game this afternoon at the beach. 0:):lol::lol::lol:

  12. Been in a funk all weekend and I can't remember EVER looking forward to a Bills' game with this much dread. Instead of thinking about what they have to do to stop Miami, I'm thinking how this entire situation simply should not be. I'm getting a glimpse of what the future may hold and I don't like it.

I've followed this team since its inception and supported them through the (mostly) bad and the good times. But the prospect of actually watching a Bills' "home" game, in Toronto, against a division rival - the Phish no less- has me really depressed.

It finally sinks in that this could be the beginning of the end of a relationship that has been a part of my life since I've been a kid.

I've always supported RW in his ownership but this is a betrayal of the fans that supported his business no matter how poorly it was managed. Yes he kept the team in WNY but WNY also helped make him very wealthy. And this is a region that really does have better things to spend their money on given the economics of the past 40+ years.

To me, the game today is secondary. This sucks.

  13. It's the reality of being disrespected all the time that makes me wonder what it might take.

Disrespected. What does that really mean? Is it important to have fishwraps and bookies kiss the Bills A$$?

Please, we have a very good team to root for. Enjoy it while you can. The only thing that's important is that we know they're good and they know they're good. As long as they win, I couldn't give a crap what the talking heads think.
