The Chiefs are second place in the AFC West. The loser of the Sunday night game will be Second place in AFC North. Then we play the AFC South and NFC East. I'm eye @Baltimore @Deadskins and @Eagles next year depending on the dates.

I bought a new Jersey every year from 2002-2008. After 4 start seasons of under .500 football I swore to spend zero dollars on Bills merch until the Bills held up their end of the fan-team bond and had a winning season. I didn't think the ban would last for 5 years but it did. I can now give my money to this winning team again. Which Jersey should I buy? Top of my list: Andre Reed Fred Jackson Kyle Williams. If the Bills beat Oakland, In week 17 we needed: 1.) Bills to beat Pats for first time in Gillette stadium - check 2.) Chiefs to beat SD Chargers - check 3.) Browns to beat Ravens - NO Check. The Bills would have been out of the playoffs at 10-6 if the Bills beat Oakland and everything else stayed the same.

If The Bills won last week, They would have needed KC to win at home vs SD, and Cleveland to beat Baltimore. Along with beating the Patriots in Foxboro for the first time this millennium.

Encouraged: Meaningful Football in week 16. Sammy Watkins looks for real (Eric Ebron looks like "just a guy") Defense is Championship caliber. Discouraged: Every team in the AFC West dominated the Bills (Maybe not KC) The team has a DIII offense. There is no NFL caliber QB on the roster ensuring more years of coming up short. The Defensive line is going to age out or Free Agent out before the team has a QB.

Preston Brown plays like a 5 year vet. He seriously is so over looked but was critical all season long. He plays like what you would expect from a 1st rounder. Kiko and Brown is a nice core for the Bills LBs. Light years from the grocery store bag boys we used to put out there at LB.

Jamis Winston is going to be a beast in the NFL. Especially if he falls and lands in the right spot i.e. KC with Andy Reid or Denver with John Fox. (Brock is not the answer.) Obviously people gave a bad impression of Jamis Winston but all that stupid college stuff will go away (The sexual assault seems dubious imo.) Now if the Bills had the 16th pick and Jamis was there I would be pissed. However Marrone and Hacket couldn't coach themselves out of a wet paper bag so they would just ruin Winston. I am curious to see how the Winston saga plays out.

Less excited. I still contend we would have atleast 2 more losses without Sammy. I don't think OBJ gives us those early season plays that led to a win.

According to this site Fred Jackson has 596 YAC and 497 Receiving yards. which is actually what I was expecting. receiving yards takin into consideration tackle for a loss. Pure YAC recording does not. http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/yards-after-the-catch/2014/ I.e. you can catch the Balls 4 yards behind the LOS run for two and that +2 YAC but -2 Receiving yards.

They will own Division and Conference tie breaker with a win or a loss. The problem is that there are less than 32 Human Beings that are capable of playing QB well in the NFL. I didn't appreciate Jim Kelly in my youth. If the Bills ever find one of these Human Beings maybe we'll have a chance again.

I love all this tough guy posts. "He is under contract and he better pay or I'll cut him." I expect a lower rotation from him. He'll be in first half to try get that 1/2 sack but if that game gets out of hand, I'd expect him to either be sat or "pull a hammy." He has 100 mlion reasons to sit on the sidelines for this game. I'm preparing for two scenarios that are both very Buffalo Billian. 1.) Bills find a way to lose in Oakland (They haven't won there since 1966, similar to the Pack's strange winless record in Buffalo) 2.) All the rest of the NFL wins break right for the Bills to be 6th, The Bills are leading in Foxborro by 6 with 3 mins left, then Spiller fumbles after catching a dump off. Pats recover and return to Bills 30, then Brady throws a TD pass with a minute left to take the lead. We then watch Orton try to get the Bills in FG position but he takes a strip sack fumble and the game is over. I'm pretty certain it's going to be option 1.) or 2.).

It doesn't work like that.

It was not the right play at the right time. It was poor situational IQ. Two runs of two yards takes 90 seconds out of 249 seconds or two more time outs. The "Dagger" doesn't put the Bills in Easy FG position or kill any additional clock. If complete the Bills are basically in the same situation as running for two yards twice with, obviously, better field position. The risk associated with that pass, is a big fat loss. Play to win the game, pick up two firsts on the ground and the game is won. No punt and strip sack needed. You play to win the game not throw Daggers.

This is what I'm rooting for, I think it is the most likely scenario. It's Ok if SD wins on Saturday SD would just need to lose week 17 @ KC. This is a red herring. We just need one of those three to lose out. Cinci is Hone vs Denver then @Pitt. Cinci losing out is the real ticket. Let Pitt win out. Baltimore doesn't really matter if Cinci loses out. wtf
