I love both teams and sports. But I choose HOCKEY over FOOTBALL anyday. Hockey is just a faster game to watch. It can be painful to watch a football game now and then on TV with so many breaks, anyalists opinions, Instant Replay, 5,000 commercials, Halftime, 3 running plays up the middle for no gain, 3.5 hrs start to finish. Am I lying??? You know its true! Thank God for Tivo where I can skip all that crap. I definitely know I'm the minority on this thread, but thats my opinion. Hockey = Speed and Transistion, end to end. Wow - shocker, huh?!

There are still a core of US cities that care. BOS, BUF, CHI, PHI, NYR, NYI, NJD, DET, MINNY, AVS, LA, SJ. Apparently, people would rather watch reality, poker, cop/sci dramas, and eating contests. Hockey is the fastest sport there is without machines. The Total Best!

I will miss John Bucigross (sp?) and Barry Melrose. But I will never ever miss those a$ sclowns Bill Clement, Gary Thorne and Darrin Pang. Even former Sabre Brian Engblom. God, those guys were so annoying. How many times did they state the obvious and overemphasize the play when any fan with hockey knowledge already knew? So I won't miss them or ESPN's no highlights of the games. Go suck up to your baseball spring training even more now! I'm happy the NHL is going elsewhere and hopefully in the USA, we will be able to subscribe to the NHL Channel.

Quite Frankly, I HAVE TO SHOUT ALL THE TIME TO GET MY FREAKIN' POINT ACROSS!! I honestly cannot stand watching this crap when all they do is shout and talk louder than the guy who disagrees. Its very painful to watch more than 5 minutes of this garbage. ESPN has become very difficult to tune into. I'm so glad they dropped hockey too. At least OLN will give it a legitimate prop. I agree though, that Rich Eisen is a very good personality on NFL network and states his thoughts well. And he doesn't even have to shout. Imagine that!

Completely forgot: CN TOWER Toronto Science Museum. Other people mentioned these and they are both good. You will need an entire day to check out the science museum, but its totally worth it. Wear your BUF Sabres gear too!! HA!
