How easy was that? Have the Bills ever stopped a screen? And Taron Johnson is terrible (Bills don't have a starting caliber cb). And Allen injured? This game has totally flipped.
Allen in his 6th year, and still playing like a rookie or a 2nd year QB in many instances. Makes one wonder about those who suggest he is not a fan of game tape or studying.
I think they are joined at the hip, anyway-- they both stay, or both go. Unless the wheels come off completely (may not be far from happening), I think they both stay, unfortunately.
Not predicting a score, but Baker and his receivers are better than what the Bills just played. With their porous D and the way the offense is playing, I see Tampa winning by two scores.
Agreed. But the offense is healthy, and hasn't started playing with urgency or effectiveness until midway through the 4th quarter in the last 3 games. Who is to blame for that?
Offense did virtually nothing until there were six minutes left, and they went into the hurry-up. Should really start the game that way. At this point, what have they got to lose?
They had 10 points with 6 minutes left in the game. That has been a recurring theme the last 3 weeks. Offense needed to step up with so many key players injured on defense.
Defense is also hurt by draft failures-- none of Beane's picks have become high impact players (mostly marginal rotation guys).
How many stops did McDermott's D get in this game? This could be the worst loss in his time as coach. Team is banged up on D, but fails to come up big on both sides of the ball. Season is slipping away fast, and changes will be needed to try to fix this mess (probably offseason).
