  1. LMAO! I want to thank you for being able to make me laugh on an internet message board. (More then a dozen times, at least) Most people who attempt humor through text, don't always have success. Heck, I've tried and failed so bad, someone has threatened to beat me up. (not here) Bill from NYC, I want to thank you. You and I have had several differences over the last couple of years (usually me saying something, then wishing I hadn't), and through PM's we always worked it out. You are a class act, and very tolerant human being. (at least with this jackass) P.S.- No, I'm not crying (just peeling onions)
  2. The Schaub fan club is full of people who like to pretend they're smarter then everyone else. He's the new TBD buzz word at QB, even though most of these people have barely seen him play. If he gets the chance to become a full time starter, he will be the reincarnation of AJ Feely. Then these people will quietly step away from pimping him, so we all forget how dumb they really are. He is a quality backup, and has nowhere near the upside, or talent of JP.
  3. I've been consistent. Anyone besides Vince Young...
  4. The same way JP beat out Bledsoe. We saw how that turned out. Your logic tends to be a little fuzzy, for my taste.
  5. If we didn't draft JP, we wouldn't have our next franchise QB. (I'm trying to be optimistic)
  6. LMAO Yoho! That is a great post, and it puts things in perspective.
  7. Why would you want Vince or Cutler, their faces look like Mularkey's when they mess up.
  8. Totally agree with this. I think he is doing a fine job of getting rid of the bad leadership we had. Only other person I want gone, is Troy Vincent, but I know that won't happen until next year at the earliest. I hope to god he doesn't come to a conclusion on JP, before the end of the upcoming season. I'm not a fanboy, I just want to be as close to positive, as possible before giving up on him.
  9. I don't blame you bud. The body of evidence is there, plus you have the testemonies. I'm just jaded when it comes to him. I think a decent motivator, finds a way for us not to get embarrassed in 3 out of 4 Super Bowls. 4 out of 4, if you count the fact we should have beat the Giants. I have zero evidence to support me. Therefore your opinion is way more accurate, and has people to back it up. I'm just going on gut feeling.
  10. It's not a fact. It's an opinion, unless you were there. Where was the motivation Super Bowl 25, a game in which we should have rolled the Giants. How about Super Bowl 26? 27? 28? I'm done hijacking this thread. We'll agree to disagree.
  11. I can question whatever I like.
  12. LMAO! A motivator???? You have your opinion, and I have mine.
  13. Sure, and the year before they wanted JP. They must've been stoked about Nall's potential.
  14. I never worshipped Marv. Then again, I'm in the small minority of people (or idiots) , who feel he was an overrated head coach. I'm not going to debate it, those are just my feelings. Say what you will, but if I knew Marv was going to be TD's replacement, I would have opted to keep Tommy Boy.
  15. No fan is an idiot. We are all fanatical about our football team, and just like in life, everyone has different views of the same "picture." If a fan wants Moulds cut, JP traded, or BJ day at the Ralph, it is his right to express that opinion, without being deemed an idiot, moron, or retard. Marv isn't a fan, he doesn't have the luxury of making bad decisions. He is in a position to be judged, based on decisions he makes, that make our team better or worse. For him to trade or release JP now, would be an extremely poor decision. Based on the fact, there is no way in hell he has concrete evidence JP will, or will not be a bust. I expect a man of Marv's intelligence to realize this, if he doesn't, it will increase my skepticism of his ability ten-fold.
  16. I agree that Holcomb starting, wouldn't sit well with me either. I'm hoping between JP and Nall, we have a QB of the present and future.
  17. If Marv trades JP now, he's an idiot. If you agree with Marv in trading JP, you are not one. As fans, we can afford to be wrong, because it doesn't directly affect our teams record. On the other hand, if Marv does this, and it backfires, most Bills fans will be calling for his head. I have zero clue how JP will turn out, and I don't care what anybody thinks, Marv don't know for sure either. There is a proven history of QB's looking like dirt early in their careers, only to win Super Bowls, and MVP's later. (Elway, Aikman, Young etc.) There is also evidence of QB's stinking early, and never improving. (Schuler, Leaf, Mirer, A. Smith, McNown, Couch etc.) The truth is, more QB's go on to bomb, if they don't improve by year 3 or 4. That is my whole beef with trading JP now, it is too early to know anything for certain. We don't have enough evidence, and severing ties with a player of his physical talent, this early, is like playing Russian Roulette. It could be a mistake, that sets the franchise back another couple of years. On the flip side, keeping him and finding out he doesn't have it, will only hurt short term. Once you know, you have Holcomb or Nall to go to.
  18. Actually, my friends make fun of me, and call me a tree-hugging pascifist. My nickname is The Dude, because I have an attitude similar to the character. I felt you were trying to intimidate me, with the I'm a former cop, badass routine. Was just letting you know, if that was the case, your humor didn't impress me. Also, obviously I can read, and as you clearly state: "What I meant was that I am easier to understand in person, and that it is sometimes hard to express one's self on a message board." I don't know why we should debate anymore, just like your long-hair prejudice with JP, I'm sure you obviously aren't going to agree with me anymore. After I dare make a comment that bad cops exist, I'm sure you'll have a bias against me.
  19. If you read any further, I also called them the "bad cops" If you think that stuff don't happen, I'm sorry. Way do drop the douchebag tag on me, I guess it beats the "JP is an AHole with long hair" routine.
  20. He heard from two nameless UCLA sources! The people around here are starting to make me sick. I once thought Bills fans had a clue.
  21. Thanks for the permission. Sorry man, stopped reading at that sentance, just proves your prejudice. Who are you, Walter from The Big Lebowski? Do you mean the seasoned professional officers, who plant evidence, cover for their "brothers", racially profile people and extort money from drug dealers. If so, I don't think they could get "leadership and inspiration" from Jesus Christ himself. The connection I'm making is, equate the bad cop to the football player. Most are only out for themselves, and don't give a crap about getting any inspiration out of anybody. Only thing that matters to them is, getting paid, and scoring bling bling. You still haven't made a valid point, all I see is prejudice. You don't like JP, and you will use any evidence to prove your point, no matter how silly it sounds. My reply was even more silly, and I'm sure it has you scratching your head, if so I've made my point. Face to face, or over a message board, I will not see things your way. I think for myself, and what I saw was a young QB play bad, but have moments of competence. It's way to early for me to formulate an opinion on him, one way or the other. If you meant face to face, I would be intimidated or forced to see things your way, because you are tough, you couldn't be farther from the truth. Eight years in the martial arts, and an amateur boxing career has prepared me for most people in life.
  22. The Stadium Wall has changed since the late 90's. I'm sure the Bills losing so much, has a lot to do with it.
