  1. We will get plenty of use out of him in the return game while he develops.
  2. Did you say you dated him in high school?
  3. I have to agree. You can never have enough talented Lb's.
  4. and Charlie Cassery picked McKelvin as his defensive rookie of the year candidate. He said he will become a very good corner but in the meantime will make an immediate impact in the return game ala Devin Hester. That was his choice over Chris Young, Dorsey, etc... Good stuff.
  5. They seem to be phasing him out this year and grooming Todd Mcshay. I think Mike Mayock on NFLN is better than both of them. He guessed both Bills picks before we made them and praised them both. That is not why I think he is better but I do respect his opinion more.
  6. I hear they are close to working out a deal for Chris Henry.
  7. Is Jordy Nelson really expected to drop to round 5? If so, I like that pick as well. Of course, my real prayer is that Vernon Gholston drops to us in round 1.
  8. Actually, I was wrong, this USA Today article is the one I was thinking of. It was in the list you provided, thanks. This one is a pretty good read, it explains how Turner moved into the starting role. http://www.turnertheburner.com/html/news/meet_turner.html
  9. I remember that Sports Illustrated did a big write-up on him while he was in college. I think they might have coined the phrase Burner Turner. They talked about how he was originally a back-up to a guy that was supposed to be a super star but the guy got injured and Turner stepped in and never looked back. He seemed like a good kid at the time. I wish I could find that issue, I'd like to re-read it.
  10. I'm guessing we get a 5th. The good news is, all of these people who keep doing mock drafts and choosing a player in round 5, will finally be vindicated.
  11. Mulligans BrickBar flashback... Case of splits filled with ice, those were the days.
  12. with a bunch of interview's from the other top QB's of that era. Marino, Elway, Aikman, Young etc... They were all talking about how gritty and tough Kelly was, it was very cool. The quote that I liked was Polian who said Kelly was such a competitor that he never really lost any football games, he just ran out of time in some of them. He said it was a discription used to describe one of the old time QB's but that it was accurate for Kelly as well. I agree.
  13. Let the professionals speak for you: Look, I realize the Eagles were desperate for a wideout with Stallworth gone. But a six-year deal (potentially north of $30 million) for Kevin Curtis? The guy who caught four TD passes last season (12 total in the last three years) and has only one season over 479 yards despite playing at full health in a pass-happy system? I'm lost. I'm not going to pretend to understand the logic of overpaying, and I'm not going to assume he'll turn his career around in Philly. Curtis is not a true No. 1 and never will be. Don't rank him any higher than a No. 5 wideout until further notice. http://msn.foxsports.com/fantasy/story/6578052
  14. Sounds like your boy has a bit of a man crush...
  15. I would love to have Ben Patrick in the 3rd but I'm guessing he is off the board late in the first or early second round. A good friend of mine is a Blue Hen alum and he speaks very highly of Patrick. p.s. I love the first four rounds, I'd be happy.
  16. Exactly. I just finished a successful season in my head and it was quite enjoyable.
  17. Bush in the 2nd round and Leonard (if he's still on the board in the 3rd) as his FB/backup RB. Just imagine how potentially dangerous this backfield would be behind our new O line. Use the rest of the draft to stop the run add in one WR and you have a recipe for instant success. 10-6 in 2007! Wow, now I'm all excited, this mock draft stuff is fun...
  18. I voted, but this is a different question. Who I am pulling for and who I believe we will take are 2 different players.
  19. Was he the one on the show the Huddle on ESPN radio who just said "Don't say anything negative about the Bills off season or your inbox will be full in minutes" ?
  20. Someone asked him how he can claim to be the best RB in the NFL when he only rushed for 990 yards last year. He said "my situation in Buffalo was not good last year. Teams were able to play 9 in the box against us because if they could stop me they would win." He said now that he is on a team with good receivers a good QB and an offensive line he will have much better numbers.
  21. He said "this is a fresh start for me and if the coach wants me to train up here instead of down in Florida than I'll be here" What a tool.
