he went 22/37 with 5 TD's and 308 yards in that game so I guess all of his misses were the over dozen terrible balls you mentioned. I can live with that against the National Champions.
By the way, has it been mentioned yet that Peterson has big hands? 9 and 7/8 inches.

This is such a reactionary, non fact based, comment. His arm is plenty strong to make most if not all NFL throws. Just because you can't throw it 80 yards in the air, does not mean he has a "pop gun" arm.
everyone hears a few scouts say his arm is a little bit below average or not as big as some of the other QBs in the draft and they go all crazy. His arm is as strong as many of the starters already in the national football league. Watch his games, he can throw the deep ball just fine. Stop overreacting to everything you hear in the media.
I am in this camp as well. We obviously don't know everything that has gone on behind the scenes,, but I do believe he has done a great job evaluating FA's and finding contributions hidden on other teams depth charts.
yup, I will be actively rooting against them all season. I was SO worried that we were going to trade away that first from next year to move back into this draft. Relieved that didn't happen.
comments like this are a joke! Noodle arm? Watch the tape. He has nice accuracy on his deep balls. You do not need to throw it 80 yards in the air to be a QB in the NFL.
