  1. He never won the big one. I liked Kelly's swagger but I hope this team developes some "team" attitude like the Pats, and is not "star" driven like the 0-4 Superbowl teams. Maturity and some humbleness would do Losman good this coming season. In other words, I do not want him showing his "cockiness" off the field.
  2. From NFL.com: Reed 16 catches...1 over 20yds (longest 20yrds)...0 over 40yrds...8 first downs...0 touchdowns Aiken 11 catches...2 over 20yds...1 over 40yrds (longest 54 yds)..6 first downs...0 touchdowns Aiken's production is pretty darn good considering he was in a fraction of the time Reed was in. Having 3 catches in the 20+ range shows some big playmaking ability. I'm not so sure we should be looking outside for our #3 guy. My question is why Malarkey kept Reed at #3 and why Drew even threw to Mr. Hands of Stone. I think that Aiken should have been given more of an opportunity than he got.
  3. I see talk of getting Price back, Marty Booker and other potential wideouts but I think Sam could be our man here to fill out this spot. He's been progressing every year and I think we should be using our FA dollars to bolster our offensive line to the big time level.
  4. Making fun of the Janet Jackson debacle is now against FCC regulations?
  5. Drew is at his worst in big games. You and I both know this for a fact. Gannon has a recent history of providing Superbowl/MVP caliber QB play. I don't understand what the hangups are with Gannon. I know he's not the same player he was a couple of years ago, but I think if healthy he's a much better option than Bledsoe. As for the ol' biddies shaking their fingers at me. Get over it or go somewhere else. Just because something was posted here before doesn't mean it can never be approached again. Who the veteren QB is challenging JP in training camp is the single most important topic facing the Bills in the off season.
  6. Karma would have hit them in the backside a long time ago. I see the Patriots in a blowout.
  7. Why? What do you think about going after Gannon?
  8. The way I see it is we need a player that can step in if: 1. JP is not ready to start the season 2. If JP goes down with an injury Yes he's old, but I can't think of a better QB for what we need.
  9. He needs to STFU.
  10. Someone should tell dimwitted Henry that where he's interested in going doesn't interest TD.
  11. After these last 2 playoff games (remember Mannings crapping day?) I'd still choose the Pat DBs. I've been hearing they're weak there since midseason, it's bs. As for the Eagles, they beat a popgun passing offense in Atlanta and were not that great against Minnisota with 14 passing 1st downs and 288 passing yds against. No way is Philly's offensive line better than the Patriots. Tell me were the flaw is on the Patriots offensive line?
  12. Loved that line, but I want the Patriots to win. I don't like Philly fans and they're the last one's I'd wish finally get to grab the brass ring. I do like McNabb better than Brady but that doesn't outweight my wanting the AFC East to still be considered the toughest division in football. I also remember the NFC dominance of the 80's and 90's and that has a lot to do with it also.
  13. There's a difference between "altercations" and then having it be such a trend that you must put a court inside the stadium. Of course there are good Eagle fans, but the writer was talking about the fan base as a whole and the Philly fan base as a hole are Class A a holes.
  14. The Soviets didn't have Bill Belichick.
  15. All you need to know is that he ranked Philly fans 10th. I guess threatening and physically assaulting opposing fans is an honorable attribute.
  16. Name me one area were the Eagles are better than the Patriots. The media will try to sell "Eagles can win" stuff, but I'm not buying it. They have no chance because I've seen what the Patriots do in playoff games. They win them, end of story. It can still be a competitive game, but in the end the Patriots will be the ones hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
  17. That's because the Eagles have no chance to win the Superbowl.
  18. Don't forget the 5 Ds of Dodgeball.
  19. My gut feeling is that they are a little better than Pittsburg. They would have lost twice to the Pats and either the Bills or Jets would have beaten them at least once. I'd give them 3 division losses and probably 2 losses out of the division to AFC teams. So 11-5 is what I think their record would have been.
  20. Got it. I just think there's been a mass realization around here to the truth about that team. This trend will go away a couple days after the Superbowl when we all become mini TDs and say what players we'll need in FA and the draft.
  21. Brady is an assclown. Beliceck is a bush league coach. Saying the Patriots are great is akin to blowing them. The 10 yr handicapped old kid singing the National Anthem in Philly sucked. This board sounds so intellligent today.
  22. You're right. I'm sure there were many of fans here who enjoyed the props given by the Miami and Pats fans back in the Kelly days. Why would seeing favorable posts about the Patriots drive people crazy to the point of associating it with a sexual act? Who knows. I've always thought acknowledging a rivals dominance is called showing class and good sportsmanship.
  23. So ya think he should have attempted a field goal that if blocked and run back for a TD would have had the Steelers down by only 7 points with over 2 minutes to go? Or how about a Brady interception that is run back for the touchdown that would have had the Steelers down by only 7 points with over 2 minutes to go? Or better yet a Brady sack and fumble that is run back for the touchdown that would have had the Steelers down by only 7 points with over 2 minutes to go? Bills fans ripping on Bill Beliceck is beyond bush league.
  24. QUOTE(JP-era @ Jan 23 2005, 10:12 PM) "This year is the year that the QB with the true talent wins the SB, Philly beats NE and McNabb wins the SB! Screw Peter Brady he will permanently suck in my mind and it wont be until he stinks up the league on some clown team that you all finally realize it. Dont worry. that idiot will ask for top 5 money when his contract runs up, and Belicheck wont pay it because he knows what I know, that Brady is a fraud! Any of you so-called; Bills fans that root for him will enjoy posts galore when this clown falls flat on his face. Just wait and see. Better yet, My boy, JP, a 1st round pick for a reason, beating Peter Brady and winning the division, I like it, I like it alot! Brady was a 6th rounder for a reason!"
  25. How did this turn into a bleblah thread anyways?
