  1. Apparently it's not very good. Quick, name the state where more than 1.5 million residents left for other parts of the United States from 2000 to 2008, thus achieving the highest out-of-state migration in the country... http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/tax_ref...71UXIc0i6cd3UpK
  2. Wrong, the district voted him in and even their hand picked "republican" candidate was more liberal than Owens. I don't want to hear a peep of regret coming from those turncoats. This was an area that picked the democrat AFTER Obama, Pelosi and Reid spent this year throwing the economy into the dumpster and creating an almost insurmountable debt for their kids and grandkids to pickup. I can't wait to hear those conversations at the kitchen table in about twenty years..."Mom, Dad, what the were you thinking????"
  3. Was anybody else bothered by the President's inappropriate joking "shout out" before addressing the tragedy? Being glib before discussing the mass murder of American soldiers who were getting ready to put their life on the line for our freedoms is a bit too sickening for me.
  4. No need to placate the Obama supporters, that's a very fair link to a guy that unfortunately no longer exists. As soon as he tabbed Emanuel for his chief of staff I knew the campaign promises were nothing but "politics as usual" lip service in order to get elected. The reviews are in, and the independents in Virginia and New Jersey have overwhelmingly rejected Obama and the democrats only a year in. It all goes back to the promises wrapped in soaring leg-tingling speeches that were broken.
  5. 1. I disagree, they're one of the meager few news outlets, and by the far the most influential, who are helping protect us from massive and unsustainable big governmental policies. I'd like to see a list of the top three lies or mistakes in this first year of the Obama administration. 2. While any mistake is one too many, comparing that one to Rather creating phony documents level isn't fair. 3. I shudder to think where this country would be without Fox News and a full year of an unfettered Obama/Pelosi/Reid agenda. They're allowed a mulligan here.
  6. Yes, I attacked Obama based on a bogus story. Yes, I deleted it for obvious reasons... ...and I think Fox News (a 24 hour news network) is allowed to make a mistake once in a blue moon.
  7. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/kyle-drennen/...gaggle-comments Hey, Fox still has a very good track record of being right. My bad, but that story was so darn believable though...
  8. Splintered fragments???? And you're calling other people delusional? A republican won by 20 points in Virginia and by 5 points in the deep deep blue democratic state of New Jersey. That was a supreme ass kicking my friend. The sane majority of the people of these states just gave Obama, Pelosi and Reid the official middle finger yesterday. BTW, the sound you just heard was a canary hitting the floor of a coal mine.
  9. This is true, it's a big reason why there are still so many people who actually work for a living still willing to pay such outrageous state and property taxes (I do live 5 minutes from the beach). I mean, if it really was a sewage dump what's the the upside of paying through the nose to stay here????...lol That being said, I do appreciate a good New Jersey joke as much as anybody (I'm originally from New York State). They say that New Jersey is a microcosm of the United States. It's red in the middle and south, and blue in the northeast (Newark/NYC area) and southwest (Camden).
  10. Feeling great today, I just exercised my right to vote liberal slimeball Governor Corzine the out of office. I'm taking the fact that the sun was shining for the first time in two weeks as a very good omen.
  11. Dick Jauron.
  12. First Virginia fell, then this liberal republican's campaign imploded under the national spotlight, and on to New Jersey Governor's race were I can't wait to vote tomorrow and be a part of the implosion trifecta of this year's liberal candidates.
  13. To Dick Jauron, the end zone is an angry god that you never ever want to anger by threatening it. This is the worst offense I've ever witnessed. It's gone beyond depression to despair.
  14. Keep it coming and we'll keep laughing at you? One word, owned. OBTW... Since you're so incredibly insecure, why don't you pm DC Tom telling him to back you up here and let us know the article was funny.
  15. Comedy gold? Come on dude, admit it...I owned you. Not one of your friends will risk coming on here and saying they thought that article was funny.
  16. You're right, I don't understand (thankfully). Please go ahead and explain your incoherent reply to my post which essentially put an end to your dumbass thread.
  17. Ummm...for a joke to be funny there has to have some basis of truth to it. While it's not plausible enough to think that there are enough Americans who don't know who owned the interstate highways for this stupid article to be funny, it's actually quite plausible that there are a lot of Obama voters who wouldn't know who owned them. I was listening to a radio program where they played a tape of a guy asking a lady where Obama got the money to pay for everything she was going to get for free from him...and she didn't know.
  18. Even if their bogus numbers were correct, Americans were ripped off yet again... http://conservativeblogscentral.blogspot.c...gets-a-for.html "If the 1 million jobs save or created stat is true, which we know its not, but lets say it is, that means each job cost taxpayers $207,000 per job."
  19. There's a very big gap there in those linked stories. One of them talked about Brady playing a round when he was still a student at Michigan and the others were from '07 and '09. While I have no doubt that Brady played a few rounds here and there early in his career, I seem to remember reading stories where he and Manning were notorious gym rats who practically lived in the film rooms and training facilities of their respective teams. In the interview I heard from Feb of this year, Trent made it sound like he was on the golf course 24/7. Was Brady doing this after just winning the Superbowl in just his second season? I highly doubt it. Brady and Manning get plenty of slack now being how they have both solidified HOF careers, having learned everything they needed to learn, they are enjoying their deserved extended kickback time on the links. Edwards was doing this after the team just tanked the last ten games of his second season and without having beat any AFC East opponents. How Jauron became such a good golfer is beyond me, this guy should have retired a long time ago if that's really what interests him. Winning certainly is not a big priority in his professional job. Ralph needs to hire a guy that doesn't golf and who's only interest is winning football games.
  20. I don't remember Parcells, Gibbs or Belichick being big into golfing. I don't remember any successful head coach that was a big time golfer. As for Edwards, I remember listening to an interview he had with WFAN in NY during this offseason and he talked about how much golf he was playing and how much he loved baseball. Was Brady spending a lot of time on the golf course early in his career after he officially became the starting QB in New England? I kind of doubt it. Couple that with their passionless sideline demeanors and that's the conclusion I've come to.
  21. Cash for clunkers - costing taxpayers $24,000 per car Tax credits for home buyers - 107,000 examinations of questionable claims Medicare - massive fraud to the tune of 60 billion dollars a year Tax cheaters are appointed to top administration positions Obama stumping for a corrupt Chris Dodd who got a sweetheart deal from Countrywide Charley Rangel is not only not in jail for tax evasion, he's still the chairman of the House Ways and Means Commitee Maybe the people in power need to clean up the messes they've made, clean up the messes that have been around for a long time and continue to fester, and clean up their own corrupt backyards before they are trusted with the monumental task of healthcare reform. Do THAT, and then we can talk about major governmental overhauls of an industry that's roughly 1/6th of the GDP.
  22. I don't think Trent is a big fan of football period. He strikes me as a baseball, golf kind of a guy. The passion and competitiveness, which is a prerequisite for NFL success, has just not been seen in his three years here. I don't think that can be pinned on Jauron's lack of football passion either. Trent is already history in my book. Dude should just retire with his brains still intact and do something he enjoys.
  23. If Jon Corzine was the Alaskan governor he'd up your property taxes, create a sales tax and create a state income tax to help out with that baby billion state deficit. So once the money starts flowing in and the deficit is paid off, he'd create more government jobs and programs to insure you could never go back to the way it was. Dude, you have no freaking idea how good Alaska had it with a governor like Palin. What was it that pissed you guys off so much about her? Was it because she had a couple of embarrassing national interviews? I mean, her approval ratings were through the roof early last year. My take (from New jersey mind you) is that the MSM constant bashing and mocking of Palin created a situation were both Alaskan democrats and republicans smelled blood in the water and went in for the kill by investigating her to death. I would have thought they'd be proud and stood by her. I don't like the fact that she did quit, but the atmosphere was getting pretty toxic on all sides. It does diminish my admiration of her, but I still like what she has to say. BTW, you do know that Palin went against the "two party" system and endorsed the conservative candidate in the NY congressional district.
  24. Just be glad you live in a place with no state, sales and exploding property taxes. California, New York, New Jersey (where I live), Michigan are all sinking fast because of the severely bloated and massively failed liberal tax and spend policies. All heavily Democratic states. Obama is fast tracking America down the same road. You have no clue what's going on. Did you know that here in New Jersey taxpayers owe 2 billion dollars for retiring government workers unused sick and vacation time? It's not that I worship Sara Palin, it's that I see someone who has the charisma of an Obama but with a grown up point of view with regards to personal freedoms and fiscal responsibility. And as for foreign policy, if her general had requested 40 thousand troops to get the job done, I don't think she'd send him half that amount (Obama's rumored "compromise"). You don't half-ass it in regards to troops putting politics above the lives of the brave men serving this country. They keep saying they don't want another Vietnam, but I guess that's exactly what they're looking for if this is indeed true. I can see why she left your state, who needs the avalanche of bulls__ investigations coming at her from all sides. The way I see it is that Alaska turned their collective backs on her when she needed their support the most. I only wish she were running for governor in New Jersey because all three of the guys we have to chose from are basically corrupt scumbags. If that makes it worship in your eyes then so be it.
  25. There were an awful lot of Amercians who lost their minds and became completely mesmerized and transfixed by this hollow man in a Jim Jones kind of way. You attacked me first dude saying that I worshiped Palin when I was merely mocking that liberal a-hole, David Letterman. Of course I thought you were on Team Obama. But I'm not a candy-ass like you and don't hold weakly founded grudges. See I can call people names too.
