That ain’t wrong but it is kind of sad…the NE defense we saw Sunday was significantly better than the Miami defense missing Howard,Chubb,Phillips, baker, and Ramsey playing hurt that Baltimore saw

of course we get two games to light up that Miami defense though haha so it evens out

Stop. Since Ramsey came back, Miami had one of the best defenses in the nfl. Chubb got hurt with like 3 minutes left and the game was over for quarter’s before (that’s why it’s so dumb he was out there at that point).

I get being a homer but some of you just make up things. Lamar was dominant against a defense that had been really good,

2 wrongs don’t make a right. You’re deviating from the original issue. Just because Karl Malone is a POS too doesn’t mean they cancel each other out.

I don’t disagree. But yeah, Malone being a sex offender and getting a high school girl pregnant when he was in college should be a big deal. And Kimmel was wrong for doing that and won’t now.

Kimmel drew first blood and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was on the list or at least people he is associated with. Hollywood is full of creeps.

So is your hometown. Stop acting like it’s just people with money. There were a bunch of creeps who go to bills games every week.

You either have to bottom out or getting a better QB in most cases to advance, see the Chiefs pre Mahomes.

Dak is millions better than any of the Chiefs qbs before Mahomes. He’s a top 10 qb. He has his flaws but just throwing that away is stupid. Could you imagine us thinking like that pre Allen?

Kimmel, who got famous making young girls jump on trampolines and doing Karl Malone impressions, is now the voice of morality? This is almost too bizarre to be real. Oh are you going to sue him and call him names for making a wise crack? What a big baby

Voice of morality? He has a guy allegedly saying he’s a pedo. Those “young girls” on the man show were all in their 20s and you might want to read up on Karl Malone.

there are plenty of people I don’t like but calling someone a pedo without proof is a whole different animal.

Not great, Karl Malone was also a sex offender. Remember Our own Demetrius Bell?

At least, to our knowledge, Rodgers is only twisted with his words. He has diarrhea mouth and says things best left unsaid.

On the other hand, I'm not aware that any of his deeds are particularly heinous. Sure, he smokes some bizarre stuff, but who hasn't, LOL.

There are players who have done worse deeds who barely get any attention. No one is calling them twisted.

How many of their own families don’t like them?

So brave.  How about a Kimmel and all the hateful BS he spews and lies about on a nightly basis.  Any thoughts there?

It’s joke but some people get so sensitive about politics. I don’t watch those shows anymore but Kimmel used to make fun of everyone.

I used to be a huge Rodgers fan. Think he might be the best pure qb ever. But he’s become an insufferable prick (maybe he always was). He thinks he’s smarter than everyone. He constantly threaten to leave GB even though they did nothing but win with him (funny they have a better record without him this year). He did his BS I’m going to come this year just to keep his name in the media.

Also if someone’s own family doesn’t like him, that is a giant red flag. And calling someone a pedo is beyond a joke. I wish instead of threatening a lawsuit, he would have done it. Too many losers can just saw insane things without consequences now.

Its funny to see Kimmel so upset about something that he literally does everytime he is on TV... can give it out but cant take it

You don’t see a difference with being called a pedo (and sounds like there is proof) between making jokes about a politician?

Dak is similar to Kirk Cousins, great stats but he doesn't take his team further. To me that's not a guy you want to keep long term. Move on.

You can say the same thing about every qb until they win one. Dak had a 101 rating last postseason.

I do think the Cowboys are frauds and fold under pressure but they have been a consistent playoff team with him. Why should a fanbase just throw away going to the playoffs every year?

The popularity of the team has taken off with Josh Allen, Bills Mafia brand and antics, and having a winning team for the last 5 years. Didn’t realize it was that high though.

Every time I travel, I get shout outs when people see my hat or shirt with the logo. I was skiing in Colorado last week and saw multiple Bills #17 jerseys on the slopes.

Eh, the Bills have been really popular for a while. They are the lovable “losers” with crazy fans. We are the non threatening team and like the choice team if a fanbases team is not in the playoffs. Allen helps but this was treading this way for awhile. Now, people are going to hate us if we win a SB though. But right now, we are “harmless” idiots.

it’s also funny watching some fans still have this persecution complex about the Bills and the media. I don’t if another fanbase gets covered as positively as we do right now.

So it is a big market?

Any nfl team is a big market team. But if you add in Rochester and southern Ontario, plus fans across the country (and world), it’s a decent sized fanbase.

  9. I’m superstitious so I really don’t want this thread to come back and bite us. And he doesn’t have the physical skills to scare you or ever be one of those dominant qbs that take over games by himself. But they are 32-18 with him and he has a 97.6 career qb rating. He is a good qb.

obviously with him, health is a major issue. I bet he doesn’t sign the next cap setting qb contract and they find some middle ground. I’m sure he loves being in that system.

I actually think it is a bit insulting to compare Tua to Jones. Jones had one above average year and Tua has had several along with his offense being explosive quite often. This is a top 12 QB in this league  but will never win games without a lot of talent around him

I heard a comedian say Jones plays like how racists think black qbs play. And it’s true. Can’t believe the Giants paid him when Tyrod is an upgrade over him,

That part's probably true, and Josh really hasn't taken advantage of those situations. I didn't really convey it well in my post there but my point was more that I believe Josh does a lot to make up for bad coaching and lack of scheme and WR's that can't get open and I don't think other teams fans or the media in general really see that, a lot of them just buy into the narrative that he's just a big turnover machine for no apparent reason.

I do think he's had more of those bad reads and missed opportunities this season but I also think they discount what he's working with here at times.

Thats fair but every fanbase complains about the coaching. Allen is amazing and we are so lucky to have him. But while the national media might be too “negative,” I think there are fans who never think anything is his fault.

it’s wild because it’s still a top 10 offense but this team keeps shooting itself in the foot with dumb plays. If it can clean it up, they will be extremely hard to beat.

  11. 5 minutes ago, HomeskillitMoorman said:

The narrative not with just the media but football fans in general that don't watch much of the Bills is too negative for Josh to have a shot.

This mindset is so outdated. The Bills might be the team that is on primetime the most this season. There were plenty of showcase games - the chargers for instance - where Allen could have put on a show. His highs are as high as anyone. But to act like this has been a real inconsistent offense is kinda weird.

We just take off quarters and halves.

So many people saw his size and assumed it was a bad pick. People failed to realize the NFL is changing and its becoming more of a passing/speed  league every year. When we play the Dolphins twice a year we cant have slow guys in coverage

This is still a big concern of mine. I think this happens to Milano. I would be lying to say I won’t be concerned about this every year and I think big physical running team can be a problem for us (think of if the Browns had Chubb). But he has held up amazingly. Dude is a baller.

Only two of the stats you listed are solely Lamar's. His stats across the board are middle of the pack. He was only considered for MVP after Purdy crapped the bed.

Him being qb of the 4th ranked offense while throwing for the fewest ints in the league does help that team win games?

Allen is a monster. But a major difference between us and the Ravens (similarly ranked offenses and defenses) is turnovers. To discount the value of taking care of the ball is extremely foolish.

Lamar was worse in the Steelers loss than JA was in week 1 against the Jets.

Lamar lost a fumble, got sacked for a safety, and threw an INT (on a drive that started on the PIT 7 yard line after a Steelers turnover) while leading his team to 10 total points. His DEF allowed 15 points.

He was pretty bad in the Colts game as well. After taking a 17-16 lead with 7:33 left in the 4th Lamar's offense had 3 punts, a missed 61 yard FG, and a turnover on downs. The Ravens defense had 2 stops in OT (that's 2 more stops than the Bills DEF had in our 2 OT games combined) and only allowed 22 points total.

Their loss to the Browns was a rollercoaster. Ravens DEF allowed 26 points and scored on a pick-6. Lamar and the offense put up 24 points, and he threw 2 INTs (one of which was returned for a TD). Ravens last 2 possessions in the 4th quarter with a chance to ice the game were the pick-6 and a punt.

I'd say Lamar blew those games more than the DEF did.

You could do the same thing for us. Offense was completely garbage for the 1st halves of the Jets, Pats, Jags, Broncos, Chargers, Pats games.

the Ravens and Lamar have gotten stronger as the season has gone on.

Isn't all-pro mostly a stats award though? Lamar even with having been playing better these last few weeks is still behind a few of the QB's in both efficiency and total numbers. In the past MVP and all pro QB's have usually aligned but that's also been because the MVP's of recent memory have also happened to clearly lead the league in yards, TD's and efficiency for the most part.

It’s voted on by a panel of nfl media.

  15. This would be as bad as thinking Josh Reed could be a number 2. KS has done some good things but if you don’t think Davis is good enough as a #2, it would be even worst with Shakir. He has very average physical skills. He is fine as a 3/4. Expecting more from him would be setting yourself up for disappointment.
