They are losers ignore them. More dramatic than middle schoolers.
these Allen years have been a helluva ride. It sucks we are just going against the Death Star. I’m just sad the season ends because it’s such a great journey.

Allen wasn’t even close to one of the reasons this team lost. But it’s crazy that some think he is infallible. He had 4 turnover worthy plays in the first half that could have resulted in a blowout.
but he’s a baller and almost was good enough to take down one of the great teams of our generation 🤮

Guys get held on the time. Dude is just completely washed and stole money from us.

Doesn’t matter, he won’t be here this next year.
Shoot, I was hoping he could another meaningless sack so he could a few extra million.

Yeah, he sucks. All time awful signing. The Chiefs have garbage at OT and we couldn’t sniff Mahomes. Lack of big time pass rushers and receiving threats caught up to this team big time.

Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
if the dude requested a trade I wouldn’t hold it against him one bit. I’d follow him to another team and could maybe leave this abusive relationship behind
I hate this post so much. Yeah, the Bils played no part in Allen development. He came out of Wyoming as a top qb right away. We didn’t give him the same OC for 4 years. Or trade a 1st for Diggs. Or build a great o line.
allen is a legit legend but it is the Buffalo Bills and not just the Buffalo Josh Allens. Did we betray Cook? Or Dawkins? Or Milano? Should they all requests trades.
the Chiefs traded away a top 3 wr in his prime. Mahomes should have requested a trade to get out of that abusive relationship. We treat Allen like a God. He owes Buffalo just as much as we owe him.

That’s what it all comes down too for me. That’s what separates the goods from the greats. Brady did it. Manning did it. Mahomes did it. He had 3 minutes with all 3 timeouts to make it happen and send the Bills to the Super Bowl and only managed one first down.Being an all time legend qb is doing the most boring stuff consistently well. Mahomes doesn’t care about stats now. He does all the boring crap better than any qb since Brady.

If Allen was truly dedicated, he shows up with a baldy tomorrow.

Cooper td is a very live bet.

Gotta say I was so high on him and it’s been disappointing thus far. Still young in his career but I wish I saw more wow plays. That said, a td or big catches tomorrow will make up for everything (not my season bet of him over 750 yards though 😔)

Didn’t Reid give him his first DC job at a really young age?
Fun facts, most athletes and coaches like each other. Fans make up these rivalries. Dudes change teams too much and make too much money to hate anyone.

Honestly for awful and cheap Brown is, they have had a nice 20 or so year run.
but I think he is one of the legacy owners (Bears, Raiders, etc) who aren’t kinda “poor” by owner standards because their whole wealth is the franchise.

KC and Kelce were on cruise control all year. Playoff Kelce is a different animal. That said, we might have the best 2 lbs to match up with him. It’s crazy but I’d rather have LBs cover him than our safeties.

I had a friend who was a D1 OT at a big school whose town was so small that he wasn’t allowed to go live during practices because he would hurt guys and they won’t have enough players for games.

Bummer. He has his faults but I loved this dude since we got him. He flies around and is going to hurt someone (or himself) or get the ball.
the Chiefs are going to target his replacement (they were probably going to target Rapp to be fair).
that said if Rapp is your biggest injury loss, you are in great shape.

I don't watch enough Texans games to know if they actually ran Mixon on every first down on nearly every drive.
I can look at stats and say their offense is not "super run heavy". It was predominantly a passing offense last year (57% pass) and the same this year.
I don’t either but that was the criticism I heard from Texans fans.
2 minutes ago, GunnerBill said:In fairness to the Texans some of the games I watched of theirs this year the playcalling was downright weird. It was like they were been chosen at random. But they did have major injuries at receiver and the oline regressed.
My worry would be, and it is a worry of most guys off that Shanny tree, how good is he at adjusting when the defense takes away the thing he wants to do? But overall I think he is unfortunate to lose his job.
Wouldn't surprise me if he winds up doing okay somewhere else.
Agree but he’s going to find it hard to have a better qb than Stroud. I still believe in him. He was special last year.

The Texans had a bad OL and lost Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell to injuries for the season. Started guys like Xavier Hutchinson and Jared Wayne at WR.
So by all means, fire the OC.
Weird. We had a bunch if injuries after we fired Frazier after multiple top 3 defenses.
I agree with the injuries and Stroud stepping back. But their offense was super predictable and they should have schemed more quick passes. I won’t have fired him but there was talk all season they weren’t happy with their offense. They have to take away of his cheap Stroud is now (though you could argue that making him learn a new offense is a backwards step too).

Agreed. Nothing is guaranteed and those jobs come scarcely for a lot of guys. If you’ve had quality success in the position prior to HC gig or candidacy there’s no reason it can’t be a fall back option unless your style is severely outdated.
Brady, as much as it would suck for continuity, should take any HC job offered to him without hesitation.
It’s a little different but I remember Nate Oats at UB who loved Buffalo. But Bama came and offered him more money that he could make in 20 years at UB so even if he got fired, he still is ahead.
I will never fault a coach or player for getting a better (more money opportunity).

Partly attributed, sure. But go back and watch the sacks he took this season. Many were on CJ.
I’ve often heard “sacks are a QB stat.” That is and isn’t true but more times than not in Houston, I’d argue this was the case.
I mean he’s a pure pocket passer. It all goes hand in hand - receiver injuries, guys not getting open, stroud not being a scrambler. I think the biggest thing that got criticized about their offense was it was super run heavy and predictable. There are things you can scheme up to get guys free, even if they aren’t great players. Sounds like BS was basically like run Mixon on first down on nearly every drive

This is a reminder for all those saying Joe Brady would never take the Saints job.
Slowik I thought did a good job. At various points this year he lost Diggs, Collins, Dell, Mixon to injury. They still made the divisional round. He even interviewed for a couple HC spots this cycle.
And out of a job. You got a hop on jobs when you're hot. Bet on yourself and you just may go bankrupt for reasons beyond your control anyway.
Great post and I agree. I think the Saints job is maybe one of the worst in the nfl - meh qb, old, expensive guys, terrible salary cap situation- but as you said, things change quick. Even if Brady sucks there, he will get an OC job again.
Happiness is a product of expectations. We fired Frazier after leading multiple top 3 defenses.

Last year, he was a hot HC candidate. Now he's out of a job. Life comes at ya fast in the National Football League.
That’s why you take a head coaching job when you can. This has to be eye opening for Brady!

He should have been criticised more than he has been for this year's performance. It was a single game example of Josh's regular 2023 season - balled out but with costly turnovers. He was shredded for that but most fingers are being pointed solely at Andrews. I'm sure not all of Josh's turnovers in 2023 were his fault (alone) but very different story there.
I agree, Lamar got a lot of unfair criticism at the start of his career but, over the last couple of years, they've gone too far the other way in defending him.
Eh, it was a freezing cold game and they were in position to tie the game. But obviously, he wasn’t perfect. But it was a gutless effort.
I also do think people overlook how much conditions play in qb play. It’s one thing in a dome. But it must have sucked for a Florida dude. It’s why I had no doubts we were going to win.
5 minutes ago, Sammy Watkins' Rib said:All of that is true but trying to make it make sense from a fan perspective that Lamar might soon be a 3x league MVP and Allen 0x MVP is troubling. We can all make very strong cases that Allen should have been MVP last year or this year. For Allen to potentially have zero and Lamar 3 is pretty wild.
Both have taken heavy criticism but the most prestigious accolades have all gone heavily to to Lamar. Probably the one true accolade that Allen has over Lamar is the general consensus that Allen is the 2nd best QB in the league to Mahomes year in and year out. But they don't give out any hardware for that designation unfortunately.
These things matter in legacy considerations 20 years down the road too. For all we know, neither QB may ever win a Super Bowl. People will look back and see one QB has like 3+ MVP's and the other has 1 or none.
Allen is going to win the MVP because Lamar isn’t winning 3. It’s a storyline award. Best qb from the best team or guy who picks up his team the most (you have to talk about how awful the rest of your team is).
and I still haven’t heard a good reason why Daniels isn’t one of the top mvp candidates? The second worst team in the nfl last year is in the championship game.
also, Allen is getting paid a ton and is in a ton of commercials. He gets a ton of prestige.

Would you do 2 1sts? Beane sucks at d line so at this point, you’re better getting the proven commodity. The lack of pass rushers against garbage OTs was one of the main reasons they lost.
