  1. You know I thought that too, but looking at Josh Reed's numbers out of the slot, he wasn't all that bad. 37 and 58 receptions out of the slot is awesome pruduction. Better numbers than Randel El in his first two years but just had untimely dropsies. I hope he puts it together and catches on with the Bills. I think he's got tons of talent if he can pull his head out of his arse. I also believe the Bills have all but closed the door on him. If he comes into camp ready to go then maybe he'll put it together. If not I think he becomes a roster spot casualty. Too expensive to not see alot of playing time.
  2. Beautiful, you have no IDEA. T-R
  3. I agree, but factoring that in your opinion is that he will.... Also, I don't think that is going to be his only value to the Bills. He's a monster PR specialist.
  4. I will admit it. I was an RJ backer. I thought he had all the skills to be the man. Unfortunately I lost about 1000 in bets over his tenure in Buffalo. Rob Fuggin Johnson. What was I thinking.
  5. Welcome. Do you have any issues with your women? Did your ex cheat? Are you thinking about getting married? Want to talk about it? You'll fit right in. Oh yeah, we talk football sometimes too. T-R
  6. "I know it looks like we're heavy these last two years on offense, but to me, every time we address an offensive player I think our defense gets better as well," he said. "If we can keep our defense off the field because we're better controlling the football, or better on third down, because we've gotten guys who are playmakers on third down, then our defense automatically is better. I look at it as a whole team thing than just an offensive draft." "I think when we're planning now we'll have the ability to do some things differently, again being smart on how we do it. Sometimes you get enamored by a guy's skills, or what other teams are doing. It looks pretty, but if you don't have the guys capable then you're asking for trouble. But I think we've got the ability to do some more things than we've done in the last year, but again being smart about it." - Coach Mike Mularkey discussing plans for a more versatile offense under mobile QB J.P. Losman and new WR Roscoe Parrish. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/teams/report/BUF/8635169 I see alot of slot recievers have success in the NFL. Az Hakim and Randel El are the two that come to mind immediately, but even going back to the good ol' days with Lofton and Reed, Beebe was always a good receiver in the slot. Judging from the way Mularkey has talked about using Parrish, do you think he could make a huge splash this year? I expect all three receivers to be good if they are healthy and we can keep J.P alive long enough to deliver strikes. I'm just getting excited to see 3rd and 7 with a nickel back or safety covering Roscoe. I loved this guy's ability at Miami. He had the speed to go down field, but his quickness is unreal. A few different times last year, I seen him make good catches but GREAT runs after catch. I'm also pretty sure we've all seen how tough he is (The video where he gets his head taken off). Is Roscoe gonna light it up this year in your opinion? T_R
  7. Clearly. It was a travashamockery in my opinion.
  8. Ok, lay the line for the draft pick to become a 2nd round choice. I say 1000 yards and 7 td's. Lofty expectations for a back up rb, but if I were Jax I would go no lower than that. A 2nd round draft choice seems like a lot to me knowing that Sean Alexander and Edgerrin James could of been had for the same. What's your line?
  9. "Leftwich to the back of the endzone... CAUGHT!" How can I forget. T-R
  10. From buffalobillisinsider.com Latest Henry Rumors Friday, July 08, 2005 - 08:19 PM The latest word on Buffalo RB Travis Henry is that he will be traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars and that the deal is all but done. The Bills would be recieving a 3rd round draft choice in next years NFL draft and there could designated production benchmarks that, if met, could turn it into a 2nd round pick. If there is a hangup on the deal, it will be based on the conditions needed to transform it from a 3rd to a 2nd rounder. Henry is expected to take a physical in Jacksonville sometime next week, which he will pass, and it shouldn't be long after that the deal is made official. The Tennessee Titans are also in the mix (and recently the Vikings have been added in the rumors), but at this point it looks as if Jacksonville is more willing to meet Tom Donahoe's demands. Oh wouldn't that be fantastic? t-r
  11. Stories are more personal here, imho. I'm more curious if Alaska Darren was eatin by a bear, than who won the 'real gilligan's island'. If I was on the radio to talk sports and paid for it, that's what I'd do. I do agree though that WAY more attention is paid to OT topics in the offseason. Do you think it will be different next year when we have hockey to hold us over? t-r
  12. If you can't find something sports related to talk about in Buffalo, your head is up your arse. There are so many different angles to cover in WNY that it's literally impossible to run out of topics. You can't make the argument that we are a two sport team. 85% of Buffalo is Yankee's fans. You can talk baseball for 9 months a year. In Buffalo, you can get away with talking football all year long. Also, even though hockey was off this year there was plenty to talk about. I'll listen to debate on who's the best option at center over 'who's the boss' any day of the week. I listen to WGR still but the quality of programming has seriously fallen. The writer is spot on. If I want to listen to drama on the radio, Howard Stern is only a minute down the dial. T-R
  13. Yo man if she'll do it to him, she'll do it to you. Don't let the door hit her @ss on the way out. T_R
  14. I don't think they are a lock for the super bowl, but you really think they won't even make the playoffs? Am I the only one who thinks that sounds nuts? Do you think the wheels are just going to fall off? I'm not trying to be a turd, I'm serious, I think that sounds crazy T_R
  15. Is 10-2 in your division over two years worthy of considered domination? I'll stick to my guns and say they ROLL THE AFC EAST t-r
  16. Hey listen genius, I wasn't trying to be rude I'm just making a basic observation based on the team they have. New England went 5-1 in our division last year and the year before. That doesn't sound like anyone is 'giving them fits'. The Nucleus of the team is still there. Do you have any reason to believe Tom Brady isn't going to be the player he's been the last 4 years? Do you have any reason to believe that Corey Dillon is going backwards in his career? Teddy Bruschi is the only question mark on defense. Ty Law was gone for the post season and they didn't miss a beat. They also added two more starters to their defense with Scott and Brown. Why would I believe they are going to miss the playoffs? The coordinators are gone but Bill still remains. If they miss the playoffs I'll call you a genius, but I doubt that's going to happen unless the whole team suddenly gets some fatal disease. t-r
  17. Two side to every coin. Peter King thinks he's going to be good, Clayton thinks he's going to be bad. It's a pissin contest if you ask me. Who ever is correct will dodge the question as it's proven next year. I hope he's good, sincerely I do, but I remember the day we signed him thinking to my self...'Mike ghandi? We got mike freakin Ghandi to fill in for Jonas Jennings. We're DOOMED' t-r
  18. Seriously? Why not? I think they roll the AFC east and have home field through out. All the pieces are there and the one's that aren't they covered. 11-5. Book it dano. t-r
  19. So the answer is that no one knows? T_R
  20. I'm looking for all of the bills contracts and our status for next year. I'm curious what are money situation is going to look like and who we are going to need to resign. I know about Nate. I know about the possibility of having to up Willis's contract if he out performs it. Who else. Thanks in advance. T-R
  21. Yo, am I the only one who saw Jaws for god's sake? I have a hard time being in water over my hips in the ocean. Seriously that movie freaked me out about sharks and I've never really felt the desire to push my luck. In addition here is a quick TRUE story. I was down on the gulf side of Florida by sarasota a few years back. The people I was with were all swimming and talking in the water to some guy. Turns out the guy was a marine biologist. Point of the story is, he told me that their were TONS of sharks in the ocean with in a half a mile of shore. At first I thought he was trying to freak me out, but he was totally serious. I've been a different man in the ocean since that day. t-r
  22. In my best Keanu Reeves voice, "Dude, Rob Johnson was waaay good. He won a super bowl you know." t-r
  23. T.O and Moss on the same offense. Dude that's just scary. That's THE TWO BEST WR's in the GAME. Someone would always be open. Lamont Jordan is smiling right now I'll tell you that. Can you imagine how teams will have to game plan those two? Wow. t-r
