  1. Bingo. Would you want to catch a pass over the middle with him lurking? HA i don't think so!
  2. Um one replay call was tough (the bomb to Branch). The other was absolutely horrendous and I loved Joseph and Al trying to justify it.
  3. Madden may do the job on his own what it took 3 guys to do last night.
  4. It could happen but the Dolts could be in a situation where they are mind !@#$ whenever they play the Patsies.
  5. Except that guy finished his duty while Pass curled up in the fetal position and almost screwed his team out of a win lucky for him he did it against the Bills. Nice comparison though.
  6. Anyone who thinks this is a playoff team after they laid down last night is a degenerate optimist.
  7. This should be more lopsided than Reagan vs. Dukakis.
  8. Well its time for this team to get little victories this season and getting Willis the rushing title would be a good one.
  9. Hit the nail on the head with this one. JP would have looked worlds better than he did INHO if they would have used their franchise RB. New Orleans was a perfect case for this when we run the ball down their throats and score then completely abandon the formula that was successful/ Absolutely stupid. We lose by 40 if not for Willis dominating the Pats and grinding it out. Can't blame KH for that one or Gandy for that matter. Ask yourself one thing: If you're running the ball all over a team and you have a late 4th quarter lead and the ball, what do you do? Only TC/MM and maybe Mike Martz answer with "Pass the ball."
  10. The whining about the refs is tired. The Bills lost this game themselves and if anybody just gave it to 'em it was the coaching staff who gift wrapped it and Kelly Holcomb who delivered it. We dominated but as bad teams often do we couldn't put the opponent away and it came back to haunt us. Next rebuilding decade please.
  11. i was really just shocked they didn't trot out moorman after that decision on the first drive.
  12. "But let me tell you something Joseph. You wanna talk about the heart of a competitor/hero/champion/team captain/verbal blow job receiver just look at Tedy Bruschi. He's changed the whole dynamic of this defense through his courage which has inspired them to perform at another level. Well not really if you look at stats because the Pats can't really stop the run still and they seem to be running right at him each time. But stats can be deceiving and misleading because there's a definite difference in their attitude (and we all know attitude is the key to tackling), but his presence has made them that much tougher, and look at how he dives on piles to get assisted tackles a la another great linebacker we liked to blow back in the day...Junior Seau." The Bruschi BJ club was in full (dare I say?) throat last night and it was sickening to listen to all night. It was almost as sickening as the coaching and decision making put forth by the Bills while trying to put away the defending SB champs. FYOU New England!
  13. I don't know if we got outcoached but our coaches sucked pretty bad when the game was on the line (ie passing and allowing the pats to force a TO when they hadn't stopped willis all night and we needed to run clock).
  14. We can't touch the Cards they won a road playoff game in 98 and our beloved Bills are 0 for the last decade.
  15. If this organization and coaching staff has any clue then JP will start and let him mature kind of like that Manning kid in NY.
  16. Shane Matthews...I hear that TD is sold on him as our QB of the future.
  17. I got up grabbed my car keys and drove to friggin work without saying a word, and then in typical Bills fan fashion turned on the radio cuz hey maybe something miraculous could happen, listened to roscoe botch the punt, turned off the radio and sat in silence for the rest of the drive. I took this shift to ensure seeing the game and now I have 8 hours to sit here and do nothing but mope. On a good note, I work at a hotel and a lady came in wearing a Pats SB t-shirt asking for directions downtown and I ensured she would be driving for at least an hour. I am wearing my JP jersey and she made some comment about the game that was stupid and typical of someone not really a fan of the team she reps. And now she may end up in Corpus Christi before she gets to downtown San Antonio.
  18. This didn't come down to officiating or schedule making or any other outside influences. This loss came down to piss poor coaching and crucial decision making blunders in key situations. The Bills dominated the Patriots early on and should have been up a lot more than 3-0 at half. They came out and gave up a TD early on in the second half but rebounded quickly which has not been this team's modus operandi. They continued to control the game by dominating in the trenches on offense and pounding the Pats defense. Could we actually be better prepared than the Pats? Could we actually do the unthinkable and upset the Pats at the Razor and take sole possession of first place? These were questions running through most of the minds of the Bills fandom...and then the wheels came off the wagon and the pipe dream ended. In the fourth quarter where championships are won and good teams thrive the Bills fell apart completely. Their coaching staff couldn't call a quality set of plays to save their life and their "calming influence" at quarterback couldn't make a good decision to save his life. Kelly Holcomb threw an INT to Assante Samuel when he was blanketing Eric Moulds. The Bills recovered and remained in the game. The Bills still had the lead 16-14 and the ball. Willis was dominating and this drive was going to be the crown jewel in the hat of Willis' night because surely he would be called upon to chew up the clock. Then in the second play holy sh-- Holcomb drops back to pass gets pummeled and fumbles after Gandy turnstile blocks Roosevelt Colvin. While Gandy missed the block the Bills should have never had the possibility of the QB fumbling because any intelligent coaching staff with a top shelf RB having a great game would have ran the friggin football. Finally the Bills got one last shot and were moving the ball effectively once again and maybe just maybe pull a game winning drive over on Marcia Brady and his merry men. But alas, Kelly Holcomb finds Eric Moulds 6 feet down the field when the Bills were 4th and 7. I must ask why any one receiver should run a route one third of the yardage that was needed on a 4th down and the last shot to probably save a season? This is a supreme example of poor coaching which leads directly to poor execution which leads inevitably to losses. Donahoe you haven't improved any facet of this team one iota in the last 5 years. Mike Mularkey is way over his head as a head coach, and Tom Clements can't STICK with a good game plan to save his life. All that being said, my ass will be back on the couch in 2 weeks hopefully watching JP Losman learning to be an NFL QB, but with the past transgressions of this organization we may see Shane Matthews get a shot because of "his veteran leadership and decision making abilities." Go Bills, Dave
  19. Gandy should never have had to pass protect against colvin at that point in time...did they not see that they could not stop WM all friggin night!?!?!?! why are you freaking passing mm/tc? The problem lies in the front office and coaching staff. In the words of Rob Schneider in the Waterboy: "Oh no! We suck again!"
  20. brady sucks cuz we know our d blows.
  21. Halftime??? Are you kidding? just watch the 10 minute pre-game talk and you'll be puking your guts out before the end of our 3 and out. The puking will result from one of two things: 1. the actual consumption of the liquor during aforementioned drinking game 2. Just out right sickness from the verbal fornication performed by the ESPN crew.
  22. I think he's the second most fragile right behind Timm (yes two m's) Rosenbach.
  23. TH had some issues no doubt and still does. And i agree the WM should have been kept over him, but can you see willis playing with a broken leg? I can't. TH may have had some serious fumble issues and attitude problems (but how would you feel if you were replaced like that?) but he DID give his heart and soul to this team only to have it trampled on. If willis had half of TH's drive he could be the best back in the league but it seems he wants to talk himself up without doing sh-- on the field except run all over bad fuggin football teams. Go Bills! Dave
  24. I would say Vin might miss a FG if the game was in buffalo. I don't have the exact stats but from everything i can remember he's had some terrible games at the ralph and missed some big kicks.
