  1. And this is my point. You don't drive stoned, the bug doesn't drive stoned because you're...well, impaired. But you know if it's legalized there will be a lot more people out there driving stoned.

So your whole opposition to legalization really boils down to one issue:there will be more impaired drivers. Is that correct?

  2. Along with my regular Jalapenos, Habaneros, Eggplants, Bell Peppers, Herbs and Maters I'm going to venture out and grow some more exotic chilis this year......here's my list for this season.

BHUT JOLOKIA .....The Ghost Chili, the hottest chili pepper in the World.

    DATIL (Chile Plants)

    DEVIL'S TONGUE (Chile Plants)

    HABANERO CHOCOLATE (Chile Plants)

    HABANERO GOLDEN (Chile Plants)

HABANERO RED SAVINA ™ (Chile Plants)

    HABANERO WHITE 2 (Chile Plants)

    JALAPENO JUMBO (Chile Plants)

    JALAPENO PURPLE (Chile Plants)

    SCOTCH BONNET YELLOW (Chile Plants)

Anybody else into growing/eating chile peppers?

I grow chiles every year. Just average stuff I can get at Orchard Supply, jalapenos, habaneros, fresnos and pasillas. Where do you get the exotic stuff? I would love to grow some of that!

  3. My point is that they may as well legalize it, it's not as if that all of a sudden the whole country is going to be significantly impacted by it. However, what it will do, is increase tax revenues and lessen the violence that we have with our southern neighbors. In my view, it makes sense.

This is the most sensible statement in the entire thread.

  4. I loved Smiths game when he was at tOSU and think he would be a good addition if the price is a 5th. But nobody should look at him as "the answer" at QB. He should be brought in with a promise that he will be given an honest shot at the starting job and thrown into the mix of competition.

  5. I used to listen sometimes but he just kinda wears on you after a while. He used to make me laugh making fun of his callers, but you say he doesn't even take calls anymore? Wow,thats surprising cuz the joking with callers was about all that was any good to begin with. I hated how he would rag on a guy, then get him on for an interview and kiss his ass,and then go back to ragging on the guy afterward.

  6. I know I've posted this in some other threads but I'm all for going boom or bust in the later rounds. Danario Alexander was arguably the best receiver in the country last year and has amazing physical tools. Had he of been able to compete at the combine and was able to run sub 4.5 (very possible) he would have probably been a late 1st or early 2nd Rounder. Unfortunately he had a third knee surgery on his knee when he landed on it awkwardly during Senior Bowl Practice. The injury was unrelated to the two previous knee injuries, they just went in and cleaned out some cartilage. He could be available in the late rounds and if he could come back healthy he could be a real steal. Anyway check out the highlights...............

We could use the help at reciever and he'd be a great pick-up in the later rounds. I like discussing the later round propects. The top guys get talked to death here, and very little attention is paid to later rd. values like Alexander. Guys like this can turn an OK draft into a great draft.

  7. I hope we keep Lynch. I just don't think he will bring much in return compared to his value to this team, but if he is traded Brown would be worth a shot. Injuries would be a concern, but if the price is right,he may be a nice fit. If not,I would love to see Buffalo take Brandon Minor in the later rounds.

  8. I'll name one on each side of the ball, and restrict it to sophs or younger. On D,watch for DE/OLB Craig Roh. He looked great getting after the QB last year as a true FR,and has gotten bigger and stronger in the off season. On O look for RB Vincent Smith. He's a short, shifty guy that looked real good at the end of last season. One other guy that may surprise is RS/FR safety Cam Gordon. He switched from WR to SS and has looked strong this spring at a position of need for the Wolverines.

    GO BLUE!!!

EDIT: The QB position will be interesting to watch. Denard "Shoelace" Robinson has really closed the gap on Tate Forcier and will push to get more snaps this year.

  9. There were like 500 RB that toted the rock for Big Blue plus both QBs.

    Rich Rod isn't overwhelemed.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of those Michigan RBs makes a team from training camp or becomes a late round steal.

Wasn't Carlos Black in that backfield? Is he a senior? He looked OK too.

I don't think either of those guys is highly ranked so Michigan Men will probably track their progress on what ever team the land in during training camp.

You're talking about Carlos Brown. Yeah he looked good at times, but is more of a straight line runner and wasn't nearly as good at picking up the blitz. He graduated also. Minor is a complete back, with a powerful, slashing style that I think would transfer real well to the NFL. Minors biggest problem is that he's such a hard, physical runner that his body breaks. If he could stay healthy I think he could be an excellent NFL RB.

  10. Great story on the TBD front page about JD Hill. He's from the same part of Stockton that I grew up in and about 12 years older. Early in his NFL career he would visit friends across from a park where alot of us would play pick-up games in the afternoon. We all knew who he was and we'd yell and wave and he'd come over and throw the ball around and talk to us. He was a real cool dude. It's great to see how he's turned his life around. He's always had a good heart.
