  1. Everett Brown 1a with BJ Raji 1b for me.
  2. Many here were very high on Raiola the year he was drafted...........
  3. Had he shown he was healthy during the combine he would have probably gone top 10 THIS year. All the maybe we could get Hardy at the top of the 2nd talk was downright silly IMO. DE's go FAST...........
  4. A few other younger choices I personally would like to take a look at would be Chris Simms, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Leftwich, and even David Carr. As for who OneBillsDrive will look at..............
  5. Batch has been good in that role. Like it or not, that's the best OneBillsdrive is gonna do. Hence the phrase, REALISTIC offseason.
  6. Me too, Birk is the backup plan. But, with Suggs, Scott, and tha Killa on D to worry about, there may be an outside chance.
  7. The answer lies in my signature.......
  8. Stroud came here with 3 years left on his deal, and the Bills moved some of it into more "upfront money" because of all the other DT's aquired in trades got new deals. So now Stroud has two years left, and I would like to add two more with a decent signing bonus which would keep him here until he is 35. Sounds good to me.
  9. When Freeny was coming out of college, there were concerns about his size, but strength was really never an issue. He had a 470 lb. bench at Cuse. We all know about Orakpo (515 in the bench), but some of these other ends probably still need a lot of weight room time. I know Florida St. has had a great strength program for a while now so Brown may already be pretty strong already ( Ramius, madcap, got any info? ) but Maybin and Johnson probably need a good year of an NFL strength and conditioning program. Although it's early, I'm hoping for Everett Brown as well.
  10. Hopefully the Mods delete any of his Skooby Snack lovin game threads next year!!!! You can post in em', but don't start em'!!!!!!!
  11. Yeah, it's great Johnson is 6'7 260 with 4.6 speed, but what has this guy done on the FOOTBALL field???
  12. If we had a good front 7 I would have loved to have him. Hopefully we are now forced to go DE or DT at #11.
  13. You may have to take Caldwell instead of Britt in the 2nd, but I like it.
  14. Our offensive line is also (when all are healthy) a much better pass protecting line than when immobile Bledsoe was QB. I think Leftwich would do fairly well here.
  15. I'd love Whosyourmomma too but I always try and be realistic when it comes to the Bills. Helps me cope with s**t ya know. I figured Tampa would keep Bryant as well Drizzy. Probably a few others on that list who have already reupped as well, like Roscoe Parrish!!!
  16. Oh and of course Colston but does he even make it to free agency?..............
  17. Micheal Clayton, Antonio Bryant, or even Reggie Williams would work for me while Hardy hopefully recovers and catches on.
  18. Bill, Peters AND Gross have played RT, and just the idea of having them both is probably giving you wood as high as the Empire State Building!!! Don't worry, me too, and if it lasts more than 4 hours I guess we'll have to call a doctor! On a serious note tennesseeboy, I agree we need to continue beefing up the lines but on the DL, I almost guarentee none of the best ones (Haynesworth, Peppers, Suggs) will even make it to free agency. I'm hoping Jason Brown escapes Baltimore from them having to worry about Suggs, Ray Ray and Bart Scott but if not, it's probably Matt Birk time with a 3rd round draft pick to be groomed behind him after DE and TE are addressed in the first two rounds.
  19. You are the first person who has actually had a replacement (and a pretty solid one at that) in mind though. It's not like these other maroons yelling yeah we could slide Walker over and insert Chambers, etc......... Sure, if it could be pulled off, I'd love Jordan Gross and some another 1st round pick and change going into the draft.
  20. I'd like it but he probably wants a chance to at least compete for a starting job, which, if I was the Bills coach, would give it to him. Competitions brings out the best..............
  21. Yes and Bruce Smith played his last few seasons with the Bills and all his years with Washington at 260 or less, not 275. I believe he was about 250 in his final season. The days of 275-280 lb. DE's are over when it comes to playing a 4-3. Don't go looking up what this and that guy weigh on team rosters either because those are very rarely ever correct. Almost all 4-3 ends are playing at or under 250 lbs. these days except for the rare freak like Peppers or Mario Williams.
  22. Probably about equal pass defense but he would of given a bit of a boost to the run D and at least a decent threat as a pass rusher, like 4 or 5 sacks instead of 0 by Ellison, who is no threat of a pass rusher whatsoever. Crowell at least seemed to have a little nack for the occasional sack.
  23. Although I think his listed weight of 236 was from a while back, Maybin has 3 full months to put on weight and a combine full of useless drills to get everybody back on his bandwagon. Me personally, I hope the Bills go with the best available DE "on film" or DT BJ Raji. If the best DE "on film" happens to be Maybin, make the pick. The guy has a very high ceiling not even being 21 yet and at the very least should kick Kelsay off the field in pass rushing situations this year!!! Hows that for good news!!!!
  24. Scott (when healthy) has more athleticism to play LT, and showed promise with Detroit. I like him at LT more than Chambers, sure do. Yes, Bell does have athleticism, but not strength. I saw every preseason game and when he got extended time vs. Detroit, it was a very rough day for Bell. One more year and he may make an active roster, but IMO he nees TWO NFL offseason strength and conditioning programs to get strong enough.
