  1. Fine over all as Offensive coordinator. But as the top man to make the right decision under pressure, that one call tells me I'd be pulling out what little hair I have left with Lynn as the head coach of the Bills.

  2. Cousins didn't set the world on fire and has had his ups and downs but Washington saw his potential and stuck with him. Living in Michigan and watching Michigan State play, If the Bills were really smart, go after and make a deal for Connor Cook. Across the board here people found Cook a better QB than Cousins. You could get him without breaking the bank and in the end I think have a better QB.

  3. I think that's what I said. In vorpma's first thread he said that he didn't like the Colts because they weren't an AFL team. That's why I said to add the Steelers and Browns if that's was the criteria. Guess I wasn't clear enough. Won't be the last time.

    GO BILLS!!!

You have to add the Ravens to the list also because they were the old Cleveland Browns of teams I never root for in the Super Bowl. I always want any original AFL team to win. I hated Super Bowl V. The first year of the merger and you had two NFL teams playing. It was also one of the most boring Super Bowls ever played. AFL forever!

  4. Super Bowl I Chiefs and the Packers. Having grown up in the time of the two different leagues there was great hatred between the AFL and NFL. Even when the Bills lost the championship game just a week before to the Chiefs, I wanted them to kill the Packers. I loved the rivalry and differences between the two leagues. Besides the Bills Super Bowls, the first four Super Bowls were the best because of the bitterness.

To show you how much you rooted for your own league back then. I went to the 1969 opening day Bills vs the Jets game and the Buffalo Jills carried out a sign thanking Joe Namath and the Jets for beating the Colts. Think we'll see a sign thanking Brady and the Pats if they beat the Giants this year?

    Those were the days........

  5. It's Official: According to the ESPN Sports Poll, Tim Tebow is now America's favorite active pro athlete.

The scary thing about the about the poll is 48% actually thought that there was divine intervention involved and God was on Timmy's side. I guess he's really a Brady fan after all.

  6. Why do I keep seeing these threads? Guys want to keep blowing up our lineup for some maybe players that we're not gonna sign anyway. How about a trade for Cam Newton? Why bring it up when it's not feasible at all? Flynn will be picked up for inflated money by someone promising a shot at a starting job. The Bills invested in Fitzpatrick, paying him #1 money and they have already stated he's the starter. If we get another QB it will be in the draft, not someone expected to compete for a starting role.

Here's a question for ya. Why can't people accept the fact that a guy who's shown and has been a backup QB for 6 years is nothing more than a BACKUP QB, except on the Buffalo Bills where we treat him like a All Pro.

  7. Now I know of the one game wonder syndrome (ie. See Rob Johnson and Scott Mitchell) but Flynn threw 6 TDs passes today more then Farve and Rogers ever have and Detroit needed the win for a better playoff spot. He"s looked great in every pre-season game he's played in and tore up both reagular ones. I say go get him in free agency and go D in the draft

  8. So, you're saying he has a chance (he's 6'1")?

Brady had an average arm when he came into the league. Just sayin'.

You couldn't have been watching Brady in college then. He had a strong arm at Michigan. The reason why nobody paid attention to Brady was everyone was enamored with Drew Henson allowing Brady to slip through the cracks.

...I always wonder what Brady would be without coming into a full blown machine like the Pats. Remember Drew Bledsoe was running that team and well. Unlike our Bills who have a finger in the damn until somebody gets hurt and then the dam breaks. I'm not sure anyone can thrive under that system.

Ah, no. Brady took over for a Bledsoe team that went 5-11 in 2000 and was headed to 0-2 in 2001 when he took over in the 2nd game. The Pats looked horrible before he went in for Drew and he took a bad team and instanley made them great.
