It's not about the color, the NFL just wants players in the same helmet all season, for "safety" purposes.

This was not the case in 1994 when, during the NFL's 75th anniversary, the Bills stayed with the red helmet with the white standing buffalo.  They were just lazy...the could have gone with the white helmet then but chose not to.

That 100% correct. It was the first time the NFL did throwbacks and I was excited to see the Bills uniforms of my youth. While other teams wore great throwbacks. The Bills and Jets just slapped a logo on their existing helmet. To cheap to do the real throwbacks.  It sucked.

Both of the plays were identical.  Play-action to the back and then get Hughes to make a one-on-one decision as to who he should tackle.  He bit on the RB both times and Murray literally walked in to the end zone.

Where were the other LB's and especially where was the D-Line??  They were invisible.  It was great scouting by the Cardinals to see that weakness in our defense.

    It's all pretty discouraging.

It's both coaches and players. The RPO should have been practiced and practiced to nauseum in practice.  Evidently it wasn't because it looked like they'd never seen it before. STAY IN YOUR LANE! I should have been screamed all week long. Do your job!.

But I also find it nearly impossible they didn't drill it in to their heads, so they players just ran on instinct and their preparation.

Chris Spielman. Even though he wasn't here very long I always liked his drive. Bryce Paup is a close second

I second Chris Spielman. He was the epitome of a blue collar player and a great quality guy. I think with Spielman the 1998 team wins the Super Bowl but he showed just what a great human he was giving up his dream to take care of his wife. His two years here will never be forgotten.

  4. I remember this show kicked off ESPN classic channel. I thought it was great to profile our city our fans and our team.

Sadly so many of those great Bill's fan are no longer with us. I miss Tim Russert, Van Miller, Jack Kemp.

I am now 62 years old and I too spent my childhood roaming the Rock Pile, standing in Rich screaming JUICE, JUICE JUICE

And riding the highest of highs and than lowest of lows with Jim, Bruce, Thurman, Andre and the team of the 90s

I hope this is the time to start that new chapter for the younger fan and also give us old guys the story book ending we dream of.

Wokeness is not about understanding the experience of others and showing consideration for them. It is about dehumanizing people by identifying them as members of groups, ranking them accordingly, and aggressively seeking out an enemy to destroy. When there is no enemy one must be invented.

The Redskins name isn't a primary target. It's a secondary target, but it's worth asking why it's a target at all. American Indians weren't upset about it. It wasn't hurting, offending, or oppressing anyone. Then one day the woke police unilaterally decided on behalf of a perceived victim group that this thing is now offensive.

It doesn't matter that there was no ill intent behind it, that they can't agree on the explanation for why it's supposedly offensive, or what it means to the fans, it only matters what it means to the offended. And "the offended" are the woke.

Strangely, that standard only applies to the targets of the woke. When the shoe is on the other foot we have a different standard. Say, for example, millions of people are offended by kneeling for the anthem as a show of disrespect to the flag. It no longer matters how it's perceived by the offended, but only what the woke claim it really means. It's pretty convenient.

These people claim to oppose racism, yet rank people according to race. They claim to oppose hate, yet preach wholesale condemnation of all who oppose them. They claim to value tolerance but seek the destruction of all who challenge their faith based ideology. These are not good people. They are who they purport to hate.

They've set race relations back decades in the name of "progress." Over a decade ago a majority of people, both black and white, thought race relations in America were good. That is no longer the case. The reason isn't because white people suddenly became more racist, but because there are people actively stirring the pot for the purpose of causing problems, and the woke are the ones buying the propaganda and spreading the message. They do nothing but spread racism and hatred.

I don't see the front office or this coaching staff doing that in this case...if this wasn't satire, which I've expressed my thohghts on already, this is a teachable moment (I guess I'm assuming this was a joke at worst if not satire, and not his true underlying belief system, but even then he's what, 22...not excusing racism in 22 y/o, just they really arent their own person yet).

Even then, this is a really good opportunity for the team to come together and help someone grow.

A teachable moment? Yes. "Racism bad, very bad!" "OK Jake, we all good?" Yep!

Never in the same day, but I once did a trip where we went to Cleveland for a Bills game on Sunday & a Giants@ Indianapolis game on Monday in 1990.

I also traveled to opening day in Buffalo vs Miami in 2010, came home that night & then went to the Baltimore @ Jets game the next evening the weekend that Met-Life Stadium opened.

Yes  I have, in 1992 the Bills  played the 49ers on Sunday night. As we flew it we noticed stadium lights on. Found out the Raiders were playing the Chiefs. Got our rental car. Bought two scalper tickets and went to the Chiefs- Raiders game. When that was done we headed over to the Bills -49ers game. 2 different stadiums but a double header in one day

I think the fact that you could buy a ticket for your keg adds charm other stadiums do not have.

I was too young to partake at my first and only time there and I was alone so no one to beg from.

It was definitely different times. People brought cases of beer in. But even at Rich stadium in the early 80s you could bring anything in. A group of about 10 of us used to go to games and buy a ticket for our 10 gallon Igloo cooler of vodka-icetea and tape the ticket to it and it had it's own seat. It was crazy times

It would also be interesting to see how many of us have been to a Bills road game.  Probably a surprisingly large percent.

Many in the 90s. 49ers, Raiders, seahawks to name a few
