  1. Again, he was not convicted! You people must love the freedom of speech but forget innocent until proven guilty.

As far as him coming in to Buffalo? It'd be great for him to come and hide in our small market while enjoying the pasion we have for football embraces him. Buffalo would be a great place for Ben who got lucky to end up in Pitt while thriving on some good teams.

You must not understand the difference between a court of criminal law and the real world. He took his 6 game suspension without a word because he knows he's guilty. Tell ya what, we'll get Big Ben and when he gets to town he can take your daughter or girl friend out for drinks and maybe walk her to the bathroom, Sound good to you?

  2. and how is dressing in a Kobe Bryant jersey a bad thing? are you referring to the old rape charge in Colorado many years ago that was proven false?

Yeah, along with OJ being innocent. Get a grip. The criminal charges against Kobe Bryant were dropped when his accuser refused to testify in court following the judge's decision to allow evidence of her sexual activity in the days surrounding her encounter with Mr. Bryant. A civil suit was also initiated and then settled when Mr. Bryant publicly apologized and stated that while he believed that their sexual encounter was consensual, he recognized that she did not view it the same way.

    Nice role model.

  3. Yeah, let's just field a team of running backs...

The inability to read a post seems to have effected your comment. The Bills could draft a solid line from picks 2,3 and 4. And if they trade Lynch, that leaves us 1 journeymen back over 30. Yeah, that will be exciting football. I don't want to watch anymore 6-3 games like we played against the browns. Get somebody who can score points.

  4. ...and with the OL still not fixed, it is foolish to believe things would be any different with Spiller. He's not going to be a 'gamebreaker' in the NFL behind a crappy OL.

This team needs to fix the OL and front 7 before they worry about anything else.

There's no reason the line can't be fixed in rounds 2,3,4 especially if we get an extra pick for lynch. The idea that only a 1st round pick is going to save the line is silly. By pick 9, chances are there will be no game changing linemen left. Spiller is. Take him if we can.

  5. Oh no, please not another beginning to a bring in Dan LeFevour thread again!

NO! Tony Pike, John Skelton, Jevan Snead or Colt McCoy all would be QBs to look at in the 4th. I never mentioned LeFevour, YOU did. Your hope to replace The Great Kreskin as a mind reader seems doomed.

  6. Charles Davis from the NFL network did a mock draft just like everyone else in the world. Anyways he has the Bills taking C.J. SPILLER RB from Clemson. Says that Galley loves that he can run, catch and return kicks!! Sorry don't know how to add the link but its on www.nfl.com

Sorry I'm just a arm chair FantasyFootball nut....running back in the 1st round is the last thing we need!!

My dream would be for the Bills to take Spiller after dumping Lynch for a 3rd rounder and taking O&D linemen with our 2nd and those 2 3rds and the best QB we can get in the 4th. He is a game changing back the likes the Bills haven't had in so long. And I have to say being an old timer, even when th Bills sucked in the 70s. I never hated watching the Bills because of OJ. It was exciting even when we lost. I know we need to build the line, but we lost to Cleveland 6-3 last year. We have NO fire power on this team.Watch this guy, he's special you'll love him.

  7. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/367207-...-for-the-eagles

If the Eagles are looking for a defensive end, and if Schobel is reluctant to move into a linebacker spot, is this an approach that might work? It would be nice to get him to go somewhere if he doesn't fit into the new defense but wants to play in a 4-3 defense. The phil. eagles were apparently quite interested in Kampman who went to the Jags.

Schobel is leaning toward retirement. He'll call it quits before he takes a trade to philly. It's the Bills or give it up for him. Never going to happen.

  8. So because God allows man to choose between him and living for themselves makes him not care?

What it shows is that if there is a god, he may care, but he's not handing out help just because you pray. What he's saying is, it's silly to believe that if you mumble a few words asking for "his" help on something as trivial as a test to play football and believe he'll help you with that. Yet he won't use he great and magical powers to save human beings from mass suffering.

  9. If you read my posts...I DON'T want to trade Lynch OR Whitner.

But they are rumored trades...so I am just playing along.

I like Lynch more than Jackson...and I like Whitner WAY MORE than Scott and/or Wilson and I think Whitner will have his best year of his career so far in the new 3-4. I also think Lynch will return to Pro-Bowl form under Gailey and Modkins.

Yeah, lets not trade mediocre backups when we don't have quality starters.

  10. On that note, If we could get these guys, I would go after Matt Light in Free Agency than draft

Round One: Rolando McClain – LB Alabama

Round Two: Greg Hardy DE – Old Miss

Round Three: Dan Le Fevour QB – CMU

Round Four: Arthur Jones DT – Syracuse

Round Five: Eric Olsen OG – Notre Dame

Round Six: Stanley Havili FB – USC

Now that's a draft that I'd like to see. This is how to build a real football team. I'm just not sure they'll all be there when we pick, but we can hope.

  11. Either you're kidding, in which case, good one, you had me for a minute OR you are an incredible loser, no other conclusion is possible. If you are in fact serious (which I pray- pardon the pun- you are not), you may enjoy this...

If we draft McCoy, I could see this song replacing "Shout" as the Bills song. Please people, if you need religion so much in your life that you have to talk about all the time no matter what, stay in church on Sundays and leave football to the rest of us.

  12. The difference is Harbaugh played quarterback in the NFL and did coach a season in the NFL. He knows the pro game and is a smart and innovative coach who knows how to lead and motivate players. I'd love to see him come here.

REALLY? Need I remind you that the NFL has been littered with the corpses of outstanding college coaches who have done nothing as head coaches... and his article doesn't even mention Billick!

NO, Sullivan is trying to find someone who will POTENTIALLY make our offense better, who had a great one at Stanford. Stanford is not the NFL, and as history shows us, only people with proven NFL coaching experience win championships.

    Bobby Petrino

    Lou Holtz

    Steve Spurrier

    Nick Saban

    Dennis Erickson

    Butch Davis

    Rich Brooks

  13. Will never forget that day in 1968 against the eventual SB winning Jets when Janik ran one back 100 yards against Joe Willie. Our only win of the season. But it was against the best team in the NFL that year.

    RIP, Mr. Janik.

    GO BILLS!!!

That would be the AFL. The American Footall League of which I still miss. It's been very cool to see the AFL throwback games this year, complete with orange ref jerseys.

  14. Lots of reasons:And for all the talk of his weak arm. The ball travels almost 65 yds in the air. If you saw the game live you would understand.

Miami was the defending nat'l champion, and even though they were not having a great season after dropping some close games, where considered among the new royalty of college football and were still ranked in the top 15.

BC was having a great season -- best in school history. They were in the top 10 and I believe finished the year 10-2 or thereabouts.

Flutie was not a one game wonder -- he left BC as the all time passing leader in college football history and was already the front runner for the Heisman.

The game was nationally televised over Thanksgiving weekend, had a huge audience and the game itself was incredible; easily one of the 5 best college football games ever. Flutie and Koser were both unstoppable, throwing for over 900 yards between them.

Miami scored the apparent winning TD with less than a minute to go. Flutie got the ball on his own 20 with 28 seconds to go. Just getting to the 50 to set up the Hail Mary was impressive.

The play itself. How many big-game winning Haily Mary's can you remember in your life? I can remember 3: this one, Kordell/Westbrook and Staubach/Person.

This play is the anti-Wide Right. It has always lived up to the hype.

  15. DirecTv has been giving week 1 of the NFL season for free as a preview the last couple years to try and get more people to buy it...your receiver has nothing to do with it

Yeah it does. I have sunday ticket and if you have an old receiver you will NOT get starting today. I haveone old, one new and only receive on the new. After talking to DTV they will send you a new receive if you ask for one.

  16. I thought DIRECTV had incredible customer service, and never had any service issues...at least that is what I am told, here, over and over again...

This is the first problem I've had in 15 years and they are sending me a new receicer for no charge. If you are having this problem make sure you talk to them to get the new receiver sent to you by next week.

  17. I'm guessing it could be a localized issue with some account provisioning. If you get the games now, hopefully you'll still be fine at 4PM. I'm sort of ok for today as the game will be on local TV, but suck not to see the other games now.

No, it's a receiver upgrade issue. You will no longer be able to receive the sunday ticket over out dated receivers.
