  1. The objective it to get into the post-season, and then it's a whole new ballgame. I'm hoping that WHEN the Bills do that, that they finally BEAT that playoff level team there.
  2. Fine. It was as bad as any bad decision Drew has made. However to say "we made mistakes" is laughable.
  3. I actually think the "rookie mistake" was GOING for the FG, when the game was basically over. He likely called the TO to think it over, after which he decided to run a fake to a) not run the score up and b) give future teams something to think about. I liked the fact that Lindell made the 48 yarder and then didn't have to attempt it again, boosting his confidence, and that the Bills didn't tack-on a meaningless FG for no good reason.
  4. Did anyone hear Tommy Boy's PC after the game? He was talking about how "we made mistakes," when it came down to one mind-numbingly stupid throw that even Bledsoe would never have made.
  5. He was signed last week and was the long-snapper against the Bengals. From what I've heard, Dorenbos is likely going to be IR'd, especially with Banta LS'ing perfectly against the Bengals. And if they said the tests came back negative on Willis' knee, I'd believe that since you do NOT lie about that kind of stuff.
  6. The problem was pitching. They've been working on and will still work on improving it.
  7. Exactly. And even if they don't, they'll STILL have had a better off-season than the Sox. Beltran up next.
  8. Changed is I don't see a banner on the homepage and get a TSW with no graphics at all, in FireFox. IE is fine, as is Netscape.
  9. They won't be suspended, if at all, before next season.
  10. I was using TBD with FireFox and all of a sudden the board changed. I didn't do anything to change it. When I used IE, I noticed that the banners are gone. Any suggestions? I asked for advice in another thread and got some good tips, but they didn't help. Thanks in advance.
  11. "Baby Names" The skit (wht Shatner) where they convert the U.S.S. Enterprise into a restaurant Jackie Robinson Jr's 100,000 Jackpot Wad.
  12. I wouldn't say one dirty play makes him "one of the league's dirtiest players," but the fine proves it was a dirty hit. What saved him from a suspension is his rep as a good guy.
  13. Seems to be a problem with FireFox. Maybe something to do with that faster broadband modification?
  14. Good thoughts and thanks, but those weren't the problems. WTF?
  15. I agree about Harrison. And again, think of the analogy with spearing. It's a dangerous play that likely isn't done intentionally, but that doesn't mean it's NOT wrong. And again I assert that Darius was NOT going for the ball because he missed it entirely, and it's not like Ferguson jumped or was slipping.
  16. All of a sudden it went from the normal view, to some stripped-down one. Any ideas? Too much cowbell?
  17. Sorry AD, but history of dirty play or not, it was a cheap shot. Whether the intent was to injure, it was a dangerous play, just like spearing is, although unlike with spearing, the deliverer isn't at any risk of injury. And Stroud was PO'd at Darius for a reason. Michael Irvin even made mention of that.
  18. "I bought powdered water, but I didn't know what to add." "Most people are afraid of heights. Not me. I'm afraid of widths."
  19. Maybe he's "Doc?" Then again, I'm sure there are more than just 1 person with a certain POV. Nah, couldn't be. As for the Pats and Brady especially, a certain weakness was exposed. Michaels made mention of how Miami's secondary scheme confuses Brady, and this will be copied, as will the Bengals' blueprint on offense.
  20. Smug-boy thought that since he got-away with it against the Bengals, he could do it anytime. Idiot. I don't know if Bledsoe would have even thrown that pass.
  21. The Colts can't take #2. I don't know about SD, but the Colts can't do it since at worst the Pats finish 13-3 (assuming they lose to the Jets and beat the 49'ers at home), and that's the best the Colts can finish. The Pats beat the Colts in the first game of the NFL season, so they hold the head-to-head tie-breaker.
  22. ATBNG is definitely a Pats fan. I figured that out awhile ago.
  23. Exactly. The 49'ers suck. The Bills won't take them lightly and it will be a laugher. If they can't beat them, they don't deserve to go to the playoffs. It's as simple as that.
