  1. Bills fans who knew what was going on KNEW Ralph was right all along. All I needed to see what 54.2% and 59.5%, the former number being the previous percentage of total revenue going to the players and the former being the NEW percentage. That's over a 5% INCREASE! The owners said they wanted 56.4% while the players wanted at least 60%, and these so-called "bright businessmen" got played into accepted just 0.5% less. Morons! Ralph was a convenient target because he was LOUDLY (you may have missed it) complaining about the new deal and his attempt at humor was twisted to make it sound like among these "bright businessmen" who negotiated this "super" deal, he didn't know what was going-on because of his age. Morons!
  2. It's surprising just HOW many coaches, players, and team personnel felt that last year was a bad situation. All the more reason to be glad TD and Mularkey et al are gone.
  3. JP looked lost, not the O-line. And it WAS a matter of the players not being good enough to execute the schemes. When you have a bum like Williams, Teague who's getting blown-up in the middle, and a crappy LG, things are a little tough. I think that McNally's rep precedes him. With the Giants and Bills, he was given crap and expected to make something out of it. At the very least, you need SOMETHING to work with because as has been said, he's not a miracle worker. That being said, he's got what looks like something to work with, so the excuses end this year.
  4. Yeah, all indications are that McNally was saddled with Williams and Teague at RT and C, and they weren't the right men for the jobs. As KTD said, throw-in Villy being injured most of last year and the inability to find a decent LG (some of which I will lay at the feet of McNally, since he was the one who thought Larry Smith would be a good LG) and there ya go.
  5. #2 doesn't surprise or concern me. However if it remains that way THIS year, it will.
  6. Sorry but that's something I know won't happen and thus am willing to bet on. Other stuff I think will happen but won't bet on is the Bills having a better record than the Dolphins. Is that "reaching for the sky"-enough for ya?

  8. Well the Tour's director kissed and made up with Armstrong, after finally realizing that if Armstrong WERE juicing, he'd have been caught like the top riders who were suspended before the Tour.
  9. Thailog's article supercedes yours. Law is a Chef.
  10. A year too late. Wait, what am I saying? MANY years too late.
  11. Well this "stopped block/blind squirrel" was right about the Patriots last year, so that means my odds of being right again are bad. So the best is a no-brainer. Unless you REALLY think the Bills will finish with the worst record in the NFL this year. Or hell, split the bets if you like. I'll take either prediction alone.
  12. Hey, you think my predictions are 100% wrong. That should make it good odds then to win that bet.
  13. Here's a parlay for ya, HD: The Bills don't finish last in the NFL and the Patriots don't win the SB. Game?
  14. Uh, they couldn't stop the run LAST year, and didn't pick first.
  15. I'll bet anyone any amount of money the Bills don't have the worst record in the NFL this season. Any takers?
  16. With the draft selections and pre-draft FA signings, I think the only position they could have addressed earlier was LB'er. I think they did it the right way, but as I said, I don't know and time will tell.
  17. I don't know. Time will tell.
  18. The Bills had Whitner as the top-rated safety on their board (yes, higher than Huff) and found/figured out that the Rams (who lost Archuleta prior to the draft) WERE going to take him at #11. When the Bills took him, the Rams traded down with Denver. Whether he proves to be a bust is one thing, but he wasn't a reach, per se.
  19. I was going to make special mention of the special teams, but you got it covered.
  20. As the old adage says, offense sells tickets, defense wins championships. You can win with a journeyman or a great QB. But without a great defense, you ain't winning.
  21. I was going to mention this but forgot to. According to Chris Brown, A-Train is all but a lock to be the backup to Willis.
  22. Apparently they'll have 7 new episodes of Lost followed by a 13-week (yes, 13-week!) haitus, and then return with something like 12 continuous episodes until the season ends. No reruns, but then again, no show for 3 months.
  23. Watch the judge throw this out.
  24. Davis is 6'1-1/2" tall and with his speed could play gunner on ST's. However I think he's probably going to get cut if he doesn't distinguish himself.
