Just saw coachspeak on NFL Network. Darin Horton says the officals made an mistake handeling the offical clock. Apparently, early in the 4th quarter, while trying to reset the clock, the officals put an extra 50 seconds on the clock that shouldn't have been there. As it turns out, that 50 seconds helped the Pats out on thier game winning drive. Go figure...

If it was a gov't funded school, then yes. In this case, that would be a big NO. THey are a private org. They can discriminate if they want to. I also think the article said they would not be appealing or taking anyone to court.

It's not that homosexuals do not posess "moral values", it's just that thier set of values differs from that of the church. Whether this is wrong or not is irrelevant, it's thier school, so they get to make the rules. You second statement has nothing to do with the issues. We are not talking about a "good Christian life" here, we are talking about having the qualifications to gain admission to a private school. Far be it that I actually defend a religious group, but they are right. If we all have the right to free speech, then the church should have thiers as well...

I can't help but agree with you here. I think that the media is doing us a disservice by pounding this idea down our throats. If nothing else, it would temp oil companies to gouge prices as much as they can. I wonder why it is that our gov't won't put a bit more pressure on them in light of their record profit gain this past year?
