  1. We need a catchy subtitle for it though, ala Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn.
  2. In my case, it reminds me of an old Steve Martin skit he did on a TV special back in the late 70's or early 80's. It dealt with drunk Steam Roller driving. If you ever saw the first Austin Powers movie, you'll get the jist since it borrowed from this skit.
  3. Linky
  4. Great. Now these two are getting married as well... Linky
  5. Here's a thought that just entered my head: "This UN needs an enema!"
  6. Define "embrace"...
  7. Make sure you video tape that event when it happens and send me a copy!
  8. I agree you can talk until you are blue in the face and nothing will get done. You hit someone in the wallet and they start paying attention.
  9. Well, we could start a poll to have people come up with "reasons" of the far far left. You know we need another poll since TD is the Son of Satan is gone...
  10. While I find the statement pretty funny, sadly it would be true as well.
  11. Amen! I hope he presses charges against these punks or at least scares the sh*t out them by making them think he will.
  12. I am not saying Mr. and Mrs. Smith should win any awards, I simply enjoyed the movie for what it was. I missed out on seeing Sin City, will have to catch that one on DVD.
  13. Actually no... oh well Pirates of the Caribbean was definitely a good movie. As I mentioned earlier go see Batman Begins, I think you will like it.
  14. Bad?!? Surely you jest Wife and I saw both of those and loved them. Go see Batman Begins maybe that will perk you up
  15. Please tell me you were intoxicated when you saw YGS...
  16. Limited number of people? How do you know? What constitutes a limited number of people to you? I have been in many states accross this country and observed many things as well as things abroad. Why is that less significant or limited? Furthermore, I never said there were not good Cathlics who help people. I was responding to your claim it is ignorant to assume lemmings followed organized religion. You and I have a difference of opinion. Where did I mention protestants in my previous reply? There are more than just protestants in the bible belt, you know. How do you know I am non-religious? Since I dared to question you or point out differing thoughts I am somehow not objective or religious? What I don't do is go making blanket statements that say anyone who doesn't agree with me or my religious views are people who protest things they don't understand. Once again, there are more than just protestants in the bible belt, shouldn't you know that with all your worldly knowledge? What bugs me is your ability to lay claim that your experiences/views are somehow more valid than others when you don't know anything about them or their experiences
  17. Actually, no, it's not. I grew up in the bible belt and AD hit the nail on the head. These moraly righteous hyporcrates could care less about religion. It's about status and trying to get one-upsmanship on their neighbor. Who are you to claim "non-religious curmudgeons" protest things they don't understand? How are you any different than these folks with your statements?!?
  18. I liken the UN to a union. I agree with the original idea in principle, but the current implementations are an abomination.
  19. Sounds frighteningly to our government...
  20. My wife and I just got back from seeing this movie and it was great! While I liked the Tim Burton films, I think this one blows them out of the water!
  21. Okay, I am missing the boat with this one, what movie are we talking about?
  22. You're welcome. I can relate to where you are coming from regarding the kids aspect, my wife and I are looking to get into the kid business too
