  1. When you screw around with kicker it tends to screw you back. Bass is fine. He knows what he has to do, he was still 83% last year. He hasn’t hit his prime kicking years yet.
  2. As we have focused on WR for 2 years the Bills have built up the rest of the offense around Josh to be the best of his career. If the WRs work this is by far the best offense he’ll have.
  3. He’s going to be their WR3 immediately, plus he wants to be in Miami.
  4. Granger is the most likely to have a long career as a starter. My guy is DeWayne Carter. Once I started watching him after the draft I really liked what I see. He stopped us from drafting Javon Baker or Troy Franklin so I wanted to be mad at the pick. After watching him I had nothing bad to say.
  5. They’re building a WR group to kill the narrative that Diggs made Josh Allen. If Josh has an MVP type season with this group there is no question who the best QB in the NFL is.
  6. Again, OBJ wasn’t coming here to play behind Shakir, Samuel, and Coleman. Also he wasn’t coming here for what Miami signed him for. We’d have to top it by a good amount. We need a WR1 or a WR4/5.
  7. Mitch Trubisky being in the locker room when it went bad in Pittsburgh. I’m confident they asked him about Claypool. Not everything is what it seems. Claypool definitely has an alpha dog mentality and wants the ball. I’m not sure he was wrong about the Pittsburgh offensive coaches or Chicago. Was he? Those teams fired their offensive coaches and have made major changes at QB. Miami was a struggle to get on the field. Was getting only a few snaps a game.Yes I’m making excuses for him. But they are real excuses.
  8. You’re going to be so mad when he gets traded to Pittsburgh.
  9. I’m pretty stubborn with who I like and don’t like for the Bills. Less than 2 years ago I was saying he was a good fit. When Gabe Davis was having a down 2022 I thought he would fit that role perfectly. He was traded for more than I expected, a 2nd. It hasn’t been that long since I felt that way. I still think there’s upside. I never believed the Bills would take a shot on him though. If he’s serious, he has a great opportunity to turn his career around. I think he definitely chose Buffalo for that reason.
  10. You don’t think Claypool would’ve been in a training camp somewhere? I actually think he chose us.
  11. I mean sure, adding Metcalf to this group would completely change the outlook. I love the talented underdog approach. It’s not like we’re throwing David Nelson and Donald Jones out there. I know we all remember those days.
  12. I’m not saying it’s the same but it’s kind of similar. John Brown was a talented player, had injuries and some down seasons. Came to Buffalo and went for 1,000. It can happen.
  13. Miami moved him to TE. Learning a new position mid season? Not a natural TE position but still a difficult ask.
  14. QBs matter. Also Miami had him switch to TE mid season after signing him. This is the best opportunity he’s had. An interesting side story is Trubisky was part of the Steelers when Claypool was traded. I’m guessing he gave a positive review of him.
  15. Definitely a smart decision on his part. Go to a QB that fits him perfectly.
  16. Well, we were all wrong last year about Bernard. So hopefully we’re all wrong about WR.
  17. Taking the underdog approach to the season.
  18. I like Claypool. I don’t care what anyone says. He’s worth a camp tryout. When he had Roethlisberger he was productive. He’s a young player with experience. Perfect for the 4/5 spot.
