Speed will help but must play under control and take good angles. We can’t let 10 yard runs and 20 yard catches turn into 50 yard runs and 70 yard catches.

They aren’t replacing Gabe Davis while he’s on the roster. We’ve already seen this.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Poyer ends up on IR and the Bills use that spot for Von Miller.

Neal is fast and athletic but just can’t put it together. Too bad. He did look different in preseason. Bills also like Cam Lewis a lot.

If they had a roster spot for a safety I think they sign Marlowe off the Chargers practice squad. But right now we’re pretty deep at safety.

Poyer was hurt also last year. Plus he’s declining. Hyde hasn’t shown decline yet. So pretty big difference. I agree. Plus Rapp and Hamlin have experience starting. I just don’t think Rapp is very good.

A bunch of run plays as well. Not saying we’re better off with Rapp. Rapp is trash IMO.

This year it’s been his tackling and run defense.

Poyer was particularly terrible vs Miami in the playoffs. He’s carried his bad play in the playoffs into this season. Not good for an aging player.

Which makes me think about that McDermott conversation on mic’d up during camp. I found it odd McDermott went over to Poyer to tell him how fast he looked. It was just an odd moment.

Who are you taking off the field for 3 safeties? Always the issue with 3 safeties.

It’ll probably be a committee approach with Rapp starting. Hamlin will get an opportunity though because Miami will make plays.

It was such a beat down I didn’t notice him. Poyer currently has the lowest grade on the defense through 3 games. I think it’s the end for him.

Rapp seems to lack football IQ. Give me Hamlin.

He’s been actually very bad this season. Maybe his knees are the reason. He might have been the worst starting player on defense this year. Hamlin’s opportunity.

It’s tough right now because it’s Diggs and company right now. Hopefully it becomes Diggs, Kincaid, and company. Im not sure when it happens.

He’s had a drop. His catch % is up. So he is catching better. But still no separation. I don’t think he’s particularly a good WR anymore. I think he benefits from opportunity with a great QB.

People assume whatever they want. I never said anything about Cook as a player. What if it’s more about Ken Dorsey than James Cook? I like to have discussions.

Came into the season with 3 players in my doghouse. Ed Oliver, Gabe Davis, and Spencer Brown. Ed Oliver is playing his tail off right now. Best I’ve seen him. Spencer seems slightly improved, mostly because of a lot of scheming help. Run blocking looks good. Gabriel Davis. Ugh. Same guy. He’s firmly in my sights. I need more from him.

Ok improvement here. No separation but at least he’s catching the football when open.
