  1. When I first read this I thought it was the number 280 and my first thought was "That seems low"
  2. If he goes away then a Nick Wright appears - they are like cockroaches
  3. I remember that Allen and Teller were close when he was with the Bills
  4. He's even worse with Brady - although that's the case with everyone I guess. Come to think of it I haven't watched a game that included Brady without eventually muting after the first few minutes in years
  5. I just don't want to see the same defensive game plan of the first meeting to let them run all over us and totally control the ball/game. Even if the Bills 'kept it close', KC really controlled the game and it was frankly demoralizing to be gouged like that. Would rather give up a big play on a 3 min drive and get our offense back on the field then let them have long time consuming drives battering us backwards. I expect the defensive gameplan will be a little more sophisticated this time - and also I hope they plan to try to make Mahomes uncomfortable and move him from the pocket - with his toe and coming back from his "upper body injury", I can't imagine he will be as comfortable scrambling around. I also think that Daboll has been saving some plays all season just for this game.
  6. Jerry also said this - "“We took it as a challenge,” said Hughes, who had two of those sacks. “A lot of us, just because we had this late-night game, we sat around, we watched TV, we enjoy football. It’s our job. It’s our passion. So, you know, when we see the guys on TV talking about how they don’t play defense in Buffalo, we’re going to give up 30 points. That’s a challenge that we all see. We take it as a challenge and we accept it, so I think we went out there and we played like we had something to prove, and that’s how you’re supposed to play football at your house, especially in the playoffs.” I get that they are professionals and don't *need* the hot takes of silly TV personalities to be motivated - but they are also human beings and not robots, and are more than willing to use any perceived slight as fuel
  7. And they were a miracle scramble by a scrub QB away from possibly not even playing this weekend Concussion-like symptoms only occur if someone squeezes the toe artery just right
  8. So many national 'experts' are so wrong - if they aren't just going with the lazy popular narrative, they seem to just make stuff up. I heard some national guy (can't remember who) say the Chiefs offense is so good, they decided to just run the ball down the Bills throat the first game instead of pass - like it was their game plan going into the game. Never mind that it was the Bills defensive scheme for the game inviting them to run that dictated it. A good adjustment to be sure, but there's no way they went into the game planning to do that.
  9. Holy Crap - just need to read the comments to see that guy is a Class A clown. Not worth anyone's time
  10. The Bills just gave him a gift of more of the attention he seeks
  11. And attempts to manufacture "excitement" over the upcoming QB "battle" in TC between the ageless 3rd tier veteran FA, young average QB with "potential", and the middling career backup drafted in the 3rd round 7 yrs earlier who hasn't had the success (yet) that was expected of him
  12. Breeland probably just got the wind knocked out of him /sarcasm
  13. And 3) He was examined by medical staff who determined he suffered a concussion. Reid was obviously trying to downplay it hoping things will work out this week but "got the wind kncoked out of him" was a really stupid choice of words
  14. Yeah - media talks a lot about the "mentor" storyline, I know they get along well and McD respects him - but the guy still did can him
  15. I seriously don't think I could take that - seriously. Would much rather have him GTFO of the playoffs ASAP than even have the possibility of him being in the SB (and the mere thought of him possibly beating the Bills there - can't take it)
  16. Also - some people seem to not realize there are different severities of concussion, which can take different timeframes to recover from (thus the protocol which is based on monitoring symptoms)
  17. If anything it will amp it up - post game talking about how gutsy they are now
  18. Browns taking the fast train back to the Factory of Sadness
