  1. That is genius, SNL couldn't have done a better job parodying your typical Boston fan: A couple months ago we posted a blog with Hank Steinbrenner complaining about how the Yankees got screwed out of the playoffs because of the way the playoffs are set up. At the time I made fun of him for being an idiot. Well I’m not laughing anymore. (You see the irony, HE is the idiot now.) Honestly there needs to be an asterix next to this year’s Superbowl Champion because they didn’t go through us and we’re as good and as hot as anybody in the league right now. (This overstatement of the Patriots abilities brings back memories of "Da Bears" skits. Plus, mis-stating asterick as "asterix" in a thick Boston accent would be priceless) And 11-5 should get you in the playoffs every single year. That’s how the founding fathers intended it to be. (The founding fathers reference is a great touch. It is a perfect display of the ignorance of your typical Boston sports fan.) It’s just not fair that the Cardinals, Eagles and either Broncos or Chargers will be in the post season and we won’t. The league has to take a hard look at this and figure out a solution to rectify this problem. And I’m not talking about for the future either. I’m talking about right f-ing now! I don’t know whether that means declaring us the winner of the AFC East or creating a new playoff spot or what? But rules are made by human beings and human beings can break them when they spot an injustice and this is a friggin injustice. (Just ask Ted Kennedy, he breaks the rules(and laws) all the time. In fact, Teddy should be called on to have a Senate panel immediately to examine this GRAVE injustice.) Seriously if the NFL wants this post season to be taken seriously then Goodell has to figure something out. If not this will just be like when the US boycotted the 1980 Olympics games. It will tarnish the entire competition because everybody knows they didn’t beat the best of the best. Is that what the country wants? (This last part perfectly displays Bostonians notion that Boston is the center of the universe. The only thing I would add is a reference to the Boston Tea Party.)
  2. Is that where his glazed stare is at? I always thought he was preparing his bs explanation to make for his teams pathetic performance at the press conference.
  3. Belichick does looks like a genius in comparison to inepts like Jauron and others. I maintain that the cronyism practiced by NFL teams in selecting head coaches from an "old boys network" limits the pool and, thus, most coaches pale in comparison to good coaches like Belichick. Belichick works harder than most coaches as well. I mean, how many coaches would go through the trouble of having team photographers steal opposing teams signals.
  4. Anyway, with the tenth pick we should have the chance for a player that can make an immediate impact for the new regime. I say best player available except running back.
  5. SKOOB, quit making up stuff to explain away your douch-baggery(a new term coined for your condescending self-aggrandizement).
  6. How did you get THIS inside info?
  7. Nah, you have to have had your picture taken with a Bills coordinator?
  8. Exactly. If LA enhanced the value of an NFL team, why in the hell did Al move to Northern California to share a market with the 49ers? Because LA, with all the wealth, wouldn't build a new stadium for poor Al largely because the Raiders weren't winning games.
  9. In your powerful position as owner of an expensive car and winner of the PP&K competition, can you make this happen?
  10. That would be funny if that fat, interloper, cu#t, Linda Boogerdanoff filed a lawsuit againster her own father, wouldn't it be?
  11. Ralph has frequently spoken about his and Russ's dilligent marketing efforts to make the team economically viable in Western New York, "out-sourcing" games to Toronto, regionalizing to include Rochester, blah, blah, blah.... All for our benefit, of course, because Buffalo should feel privileged to even have an NFL team and that Ralph could have sold the team a long time ago, but has refrained from doing so because he is so committed to Buffalo. Ralph needs to show this commitment financially and put the money on the table to bring in a legitimate NFL front office and a proven head coach. Winning will draw fans from the region and sell enough f'ing luxury boxes. Re-arranging the seats on the deck of this faltering franchise will not do the trick.
  12. Wade Phillips is close to being fired and Belichick got the Browns to the playoffs. Did Dick ever excel as a coordinator? Serious question, I don't know.
  13. He's the only good thing that Levy brought to this team.
  14. How about Belichick lining up to go for it on 4th and 5 from his 25 which befuddled our team and cost yet another time out!!!
  15. I don't think Belichick is a genius. I just think he is the smartest of a class of a not-so-smart pool of coaches who have gotten their jobs through cronyism such as Jauron getting his current (and hopefully short-term) employment through his friendship with Levy.
  16. As long as we're gonna lose, I'm rooting for humiliation if it means we will never have to look at Jauron's f'ing continually perplexed look on the sideline again!!!!!
  17. He was a very good friend of Marv....????
  18. They said "some moron ran out on the field". Please tell Dick to stay on the sidelines for Christ's sake!!!!
  19. Dockery got beat!!!
  20. The comedy is that he doesn't even realize it. It's like watching Corey Feldman singing.
  21. Russ is being sent out on scouting trips during the season.
  22. Talent wise the o-line has enough to get to the playoffs. The problem is the diva at left tackle whose holdout and the subsequent shuffling of the line, prevented the line to develop the chemistry needed to be consistent. As far as D-line, Stroud was a huge upgrade on the interior, but Schobel's injury and Kelsay's mediocre play hurt the team's ability to rush the passer big time. That and playing our safeties deep and not blitzing enough, led to painful, prolonged drives which drove a stake through this team's chances of winning. Bottom line is that the talent is there on the o-line and a different defensive scheme to suit the players we have could have led to this team getting to the playoffs.
  23. If that is accurate, Peters is the 21st best tackle in the league. The Bills should pay him as such. THere are a lot of other tackles above Peters on that list that aren't getting present market value, but they're not holding their teams hostage as Peters is. Let this jackass go. He's not as great as he thinks he is and is not a team player.
