  1. Not when he can use the force to hold the flag in the ref's pocket.
  2. Ummm, thats why the giants have Brandon Jacobs take virtually every short yardage and gaolline carry. Also why the Buccs had Alstott with Dunn, and the Falcons paired Duckett with Dunn. Dunn's a good back, but hes not great. And he cant run short yardage.
  3. For some reason, the first thing that came to mind when picturing this was Curly, Larry, and Moe wearing bills jerseys.
  4. Stop digging. I know that you're in over your head already, but seeing the average shovel is about 4 feet tall, lean it against the side of the hole and climb out.
  5. Look, i cant concentrate on listening to ESPN and eating my hot pocket while i am trying to figure out this whole "scrolling" thing. Please keep things simpler.
  6. your delusional ideas? yes they are.
  7. I'm confused too, but only because this roughly the 8th thread about this on page 1. But why scroll down?
  8. You watched the game going commando?
  9. Theres some great football insight!
  10. you;re right. i forgot about the 2/3 buyout option. Buuuuut, the salary cap charge is determined by the average value of the contract. The player's actual salaries will vary from year to year. (increasing like football) Same cap hit every season, but the actual dollars the team pays to the player will increase with each season.
  11. yes, hockey contracts are guaranteed. Not like the NFL where players will never see the inflated numbers. Rick will see all 67.5 mil of that deal. And DiPietro will stay on the cap unless he's traded. i think the reason they did it that way was so they could mess with the actual payouts per season, so he'll make roughly $4.65 this season and probably $15 million in his final season.
  12. DiPietro signed a 15 year 67.5 million dollar contract with the isles. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=2584306 Nothing like tying up 4.5 mil in cap room per season for the next 15 years. I guess when you really like a guy and he wants to be there, sign him. I think this will eventually come back to bite the isles in the ass.
  13. Thats the real catch with college OT's. Sorting out the good ones with good skill and technique from the "good" ones who were good because they were bigger than everyone else. Its not uncommon to see a college DE giving up 100+ pounds to an opposing OT. You'll find college DE's in the 230-260 range all the time. And they can get dominated by a 350lb OT. off topic, but FSU's starting OLB Geno Hayes tips the scales at 210. But he's fast as hell, and quite the ballhawk. I think he'll easily transition into an NFL safety if he gets drafted.
  14. FWIW, i believe Starks is a RFA this upcoming offseason.
  15. I guess it depends on how an individual rates him. I dont see McGahee as overrated, because i place him in the second tier of RB's in the league, ranked roughly in the 8-12 range. McGahee will probably never be a 1800-15 RB. But i see no reason why he cant be a steady 1300-10 type of RB. I'd gladly take that. I think too many people expect WM to rush for 2k yards every year, and when he doesnt, he sucks. I'm just sick of all these people saying willis sucks, and we shoudl get rid of him, and they cant wait until hes not a bill. wheres that going to get us?
  16. so it was the entire line that collapsed. lori, could you do a huge favor and take a look at the 4th and 1? I think the line got blasted back and willis had to look for a hole, and by the time one opened, the outside LB has snagged him. thanks in advance.
  17. ignore the troll. he adds nothing to discussion about any bills topic except for trashing them. take a look back through the trolls posts. give it time. when ew win a few games, these tards will go away.
  18. sorry bout that. did mean to lump you in with all the other jackasses that want willis out of buffalo asap I'm getting sick of everyone bashing and hating WM just because he's from UM. Yah maybe the guy needs to be motivated a bit, but he played well yesterday. I find it tough that a player wouldnt care about winning and losing. everyone cares about wins and losses. Willis isnt perfect. Willis isnt smart. But willis is a good back with talent. Sometimes disappointment from a close loss like yesterday can come across as not caring. Maybe this week the coaching staff can find a way to get into his head. Willis played his nuts off when he had to fight off travis henry.
  19. well, UM will never be known for its academics . And yes i support willis all the time, but i know too that he is dumb. He's dumb, and rich, and a hell of a football player. You dont have any personal bias against WM, but there are plenty of willis bashers that do. they hate willis because he's from UM, and UM has a bad rep. If willis was a big ten RB, posters would be creaming themselves over him. I hate the canes as much as anyone, being an FSU guy, but you cant refute the talent that the program churns out. In the last 20 years, i believe UM has had 80+ first round draft picks, and i believe 2nd place has had maybe 50. Sure a bunch of guys from the U are thugs, but they re good football players. And last time i checked, willis hasnt done anything criminal. i dont see the need to constantly bash the guy for everything he does. He's our RB, and a good one, and i hope to hell we extend him this offseason.
  20. UM bad! McGaheebad! Trade him for a 7th rounder!
  21. McGahee different! McGahee bad! OOoooo, he rubs you the wrong way. trade him! sh--, buffalo should have traded bruce smith in his prime, because he was a bit of an a-hole. Scrwe talent and winning! We need a team of players from up north just like us. Who cares that we'll go 1-15, at least our players wont "rub us the wrong way"
  22. it really IS that bad tho. I can take a dump on my desk here at work, and just because i write the word "CRAP" under it in fancy script, doesnt make it any better looking.
  23. he also likes ot omit brady's sub 50% completion % (11-23) on the day. but if that was losman...
  24. Great post kelly, and here are a few other key numbers from the game. 2:59 - the buffalo bills time of possession in the 4th quarter. Might be nice to have the ball for longer than 3 minutes in the 4th quarter of a tie/1 score game. 10/39 - the number of offensive plays the bills ran after being stopped on 4th and 1, and the number of plays the pats ran in that same time. In the span of time that we had 10 offensive plays, the pats has DRIVES of 12, 14, and 12 plays.
  25. I think its a reatrded rule that favors players "safety". They dont want 20 guys running full speed at each other at a single time. Of course, the way to get around it is to bunch your 10 other KO guys right up the kickers ass, and turn the middle of the field into an onside cluster !@#$, instead of the sidelines.
