Theres a bit of a difference, dont you think? All you can find is an "alleged" dispute, with the only charges being harassment. She later dropped those. What qualifies as harassment? You can have a loud argument with a riled up woman, say the wrong thing, and shes got the cops at your place for you harassing her. I cant stand anyone that hits a woman, but theres a difference between smacking a girl around like wilson did, and just general "harassment"

Compare to 2006 Chris Kelsay to 2007 Odom or LaBoy. Very similar in their on the field production. Odom simply looks better because he isnt on the Bills, and the grass is always greener on the other side.

Nah, that line of thought would require critical analysis and reasoning, 2 very uncommon traits on this board. Kelsay doesnt rack up 15 sacks a year, so he sucks and is overpaid (even though similar players in antwan odom and travis laboy got similar deals this year)

There are no cap ramifications of the #11 pick, because judging by past years, that pick is going to get in the range of 5 years and 15-20 million. The problem with the bills is not that the team doesnt use first round picks on the lines. The problem has been the lack of use of 1st-3rd round picks on the lines.

With respect to DBs, the draft represents the best value you can get for a CB. As you said above, the price for good CBs are skyrocketing. So you can either pay $60-70 million over 6 years for one, or draft one mid first round and spend 10-15 million on one.

AKC, can i ask you why you convienently left the Jags out of your study? In 2001-2, they took 2 DTs in round 1. (1 of them is now with the Bills) But since then, they have taken QB-WR-WR-TE-FS. Obviously they have spent 4 picks in the past 4 years on pass catchers and DBs, yet they continually are in the playoff hunt or making playoff appearances. While i agree with your overall premise that the bills need ot spend more early round draft resources on both lines, it is foolish at best to reduce the argument down to "drafting WRs/DBs in round 1 makes your team lose and drafting OL/DL in round 1 makes your team win"

Completely agreed. Theres no way flutie would have come close to putting even 16 on the board, after the piss-poor offensive output we'd had all season long with him under center. The final would have been something like 15-6 titans, and would have just been a WC loss instead of a heartbreak.

You're probably better off sticking to shows more on your level, such as "The Bachelor" and "Big Brother"
