  1. There are lots of theories on how to draft, but the one that I firmly believe is that when you have a chance to pick a top rated front 7 player on defense, you TAKE him. Not only does defense win championships, but a solid front seven helps the run AND the pass defense. And I'm not talking about projects or tweeners like Aaron Maybin or Erik Flowers. The only time I would waiver from this is if you need a franchise QB or franchise LT...either of those could trump a front 7 pick. but othewise, you shore up your Dline and if there is a game changing stud LB there, you take him. Our biggest impact player among our front 7 is Kyle Williams - a serious overachiever. That's ridiculous.
  2. I definitely agree with this...no telling what she brought home.
  3. Bros before hoes, baby!!! HOLLA!!!
  4. I'd like you to be a guest on my web show next week. Are you available?
  5. I got them all with 3:41 left, but that's after wasting about a minute trying to fuggin spell cinncinati...or is it cincinnatti...or cincinnati...DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Holy crap, you guys are right...I only got to hear up to the 3rd quarter and they were ahead comfortably...I can't believe they lost in the end!! Unreal...
  7. That's bulllsheeeat! Where are the Cocks?!?!
  8. I don't know how many of you guys have been through a failed marriage/divorce, but it changes who you are as a person. In my life, it ranks as probably the most painful and difficult thing I've even been through. I completely agree with the OP that a "grumpy" issue is not by any means a valid excuse for his wife to go out and cheat on him. Obviously we don't know the whole story, but people today seem to take very lightly the vows they took on their wedding day. If your partner is acting like a grumpy biatch, then you talk to them like an adult. You work through the issue, either individually, together, or with a counselor. You don't go out and completely destroy your marriage by banging someone else. I understand that when people discuss personal issues on a message board that they open themselves up to criticism and flaming, but give the guy some slack...this is likely going to be something that will take him years to recover from.
  9. Here's one of the indicators that Alki kept talking about in chat the other night...he's very happy with the increase in traffic! http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/battlecam.com#
  10. LOL...I had the caramel, yep, but the most impressive one to me was the cheese popcorn. That was RIDICULOUS. I thought their prices were absurd until I actually tried some. It's worth every penny!
  11. I know that Chicago has a very large Polish community....I bet those hot dog stands are pretty awesome. Have you ever heard of Garretts popcorn? My lesbian friend in Chicago had some sent to me a while back....holy CRAP that was amazing!
  12. Alki was very, very happy with the results of the challenge. The traffic at the site is through the roof and he's been all over tv. Think of a good reason why the million may have been paid, but not reported that it was paid. It'll come to you. Alki is very generous. The last thing he'd do is fail to follow through on paying out.
  13. Oh, trust me, I NEVER give them attitude. I am as nice as can be to fast food folks...I'm not stupid man, I worked in the food flingin' industry for five years. I know better than to antagonize people who prepare things I eat Well are the fries any good? That's my main issue. I love tossing them in my fryer at home...they come out delicious. For some reason, fast food places have forgotten how to do something so simple. Ugh...I couldn't read that stuff...I'm becoming a real fan of kosher food the older I get. I believe in eating animals, but from what I'm learning, one of the tenets of kosher preparation is humane slaughter. That's the main reason I only buy Hebrew National weiners now
  14. I was going to say something similar, but I kept thinking maybe I was missing something in the article since I was at work when I read it lol....but yeah, I'm with you lol
  15. He likely did get paid the 1 mil
  16. Speaking of the golden arches, the more I learn about their food, the more I want to vomit. After Jack posted that article about their chicken "nuggets", I have been sick to my stomach. Lord only knows what they put in the rest of their crap.
  17. Good point, I hadn't thought about the "button factor" lol I sometimes can hear the person in front me ordering, and when I hear "please make sure there is no _____, and I'd also like extra ____ and with _____ on the side", I'm thinking, "yeah, good luck with THAT" Sometimes I feel bad when I see a middle-aged, seeming intelligent adult working at a fast food drive thru. Other times, I'm thinking, "wow, this dude will be a lifer"
  18. Amen...screw the fries!!
  19. Nah, he's not a fraud at all. You can't believe everything you read. That article made a lot of assumptions.
  20. I can sort of relate, although my frustration usually comes from stopping at more traditional fast food joints. I have basically sworn off fries from these places. Too often they are just nasty...sitting around forever, overcooked, under cooked, etc, etc. So I almost always will just order a sandwich and maybe a drink. Almost every time I will order SPECIFICALLY what I want, and this almost always results in the person acting like I'm committing an unspeakable act by not actually wanting fukkin fries with the meal. Why do I get asked EVERY time if I want "the combo or just the sandwich"? Well, Mr fast food person, what did you hear me actually order just a few seconds ago? Did I say combo? NOOOOOOOO....I said A WHOPPER WITH CHEESE AND A COKE. I could see if they asked, "do you want to add fries to that for just $x.xx more?" That's what a reasonable person might come back with. But almost EVERY one of them will ask if I want "the combo or just the sandwich"
