  1. Even Bruschi?
  2. That's the mindset I started watching the show with, but it's pretty clear there is SOMETHING going on here. Too much objective evidence gathered for me to think it's all a fix.
  3. Dude, that horse got a raw deal.
  4. Holy SHITBALLS!!! YOU MEAN WE ACTUALLY WON??????
  5. Depending on who we release in order to make room for him, I don't see any harm in signing the guy...but I wish I was a bit more optimistic that this was a meaningful signing. I just don't see Merriman getting back to his former self.
  6. maybe we need to provoke a few ghosts to get things going our way at the Ralph again!
  7. Yep, they do a lot of, uh, "stimulation" They've also been using some really neat gadgets that have produced some interesting results. And if you believe in EVP recordings, they almost always get those...it's really interesting. I spent last night watching a few episodes of Ghost Adventures and Billy the Exterminator lol...
  8. This is a location they've been to a few times, each time gathering some pretty impressive evidence. They went back for this season, and it's pretty awesome....check it out! http://www.theparanormalsociety.org/full-episodes/356-ghost-adventures-s04e03-return-to-bobby-mackeys EDIT: The second half is much more intense than the first half...so be sure to stick with it! This is easily the most intense Ghost Adventures I've ever seen.
  9. CONGRATS, BROTHER!!!
  10. No, I sure didn't but I'll check em out now!
  11. You bet I know that I've had a lot of fun watching some of the CBS shows (survivor, big brother, amazing race) online, cause they have it where you can watch with other people and chat during the show. It's led to a few pretty good laughs, which made the experience more fun But yeah, with the quality of streaming these days, watching online is a great way to go, IMO.
  12. They are on record as wanting to build this team through the draft. They likely aren't going to bring in any big name, overrated, or crippled free agents to take up a roster spot that a younger player could be utilizing. (You may get nailed by the mods for posting this, actually...there are already a lot of other threads and posts discussing this....just sayin')
  13. Yes, I see that I misread your post...you are 100% correct, I would support ( ) the guy 100% if we draft him because I am a true bills fan
  14. You may want to check and see about online availability. I know what you mean about the time...there are a lot of shows where if I didn't have a DVR I wouldn't ever see them. But I have relied more and more on online availability of certain shows...that can be a good back up plan, and chances are AMC or Hulu or someone will have it available.
  15. Bill, you are the LAST person I would ever expect to be critical of my being a true Bills fan!! What the heck, man? lol If we draft Mallett(head) with the first pick of the draft, I will B word and moan about it for days. But come training camp, I will be behind him 100% and hope to the good LORD I was wrong about the guy. But until the draft comes along, I will hope and pray that this guy ends up on a team other than the Bills.
  16. lol...well, I will usually preface my comments with the fact that I have NOT seen all of this guys games. I saw about three last season and probably three or four this year. I just feel VERY strongly that this guy is going to be somewhere between a huge bust and a huge tease. By a huge tease, I mean the type of player who will put up all sorts of fancy stats against crap teams, but never EVER be the difference when we really need him to take the team on his shoulders and lead us to a victory. In short, I think he'll be Bledsoe against the Pittsburgh JV starters from a few years ago. I have nothing against him personally, and I'm not trying to hack on anyone here who likes the guy...it's just that once in a while I feel REALLY strongly about something related to this game, and this is one of those times. If we use our first round pick on this guy, I'm seriously gonna The only QBs I would want to see us pick in the first two rounds of the draft are Luck and Newton. They are both winners. As the guy on the audio said, he's a product of the system who lacks accuracy. You can't have accuracy issues in the NFL anymore than you can have a fumbling problem as a running back.
  17. More positive feedback regarding the show's performance: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/47288
  18. Just confirms my view that Mallett is crap. I wouldn't be upset with Luck at #1, but if he's not there we have GOT to go defense.
  19. You know what scene stayed with me? Well, two of them, actually....the one where the little kid saw his mom and his reaction, and then the one where the cop went back into the park to find "halfie" crawling around. I thought that was excellent acting, and it also told you a LOT about his character without him having to say much. I also thought the direction was excellent...the way the scenes were shot was fantastic and very effective.
  20. Amazon has the MP3 for $3.99...just grabbed it last night.
  21. Okay man, you're hired as the GM
  22. After I made my post, I anticipated someone making that counter-argument, but admittedly you went into much more detail than I was prepared for lol. Nice job! The thing with great QBs is that in all instances I can think of, they had solid running games and solid defenses. The times when they didnt - 80s broncos, 90s bills, last Pats SB, etc - the team lost. Elway didn't win until he had a top ranked defense and Terrell Davis. The only time the Bills competed was the year their defense was strongest. Peyton Manning always had a running game, but it wasn't until Dungy got the defense playing well that he won his. In short, there are plenty of examples of teams with great QBs who won SBs WITH solid defenses, but not many were the great QB won w/out it. I guess what I'm saying is that the common denominator among SB champs - in my opinion - is the strong defense...not the great QB.
  23. Can you imagine what it must feel like to be 23 or however old he is, single (assuming?), rich, and the winning pitcher in the deciding game of the world series? I'm a well-mannered Catholic boy from Pennsylvania, and I know for damn sure I'd be in confession for a WEEK if that were me lol
