I think teams that use the same strategy against the Bills with JP in, will get burnt bad. If the blitz up the middle, JP will kill them with his feet as well as his arm. If they don't blitz, the running game will tear the opposing "D" apart. Now I realize JP is only a rookie and he will make rookie mistakes, but what do you call DB's mistakes? Veteran mistakes? All QB's make mistakes. I'm counting the days till JP plays. It can't come soon enough.

To me the answer is quite clear. The offensive line is to blame. I realize that DB hasn't played well but, if the line was blocking like they are supposed to then we wouldn't need DB to play well. Judging by the number of runs the Bills have put up, we should have a lot more rushing yards. A hell of a lot more. And the system MM installed would be a successful one, but the line isn't run blocking well either. So the system blew up in MM's face.

first two seconds- DB watches the pass rushers coming at him the third second- DB looks for a receiver (not enough time) the fourth second- DB braces himself for the sack. Now if he just uses the first three seconds searching for a receiver then he wouldn't have to worry about getting sacked all the time. BTW. Did anybody notice DB started to pat the ball again? Against Jax he didn't pat the ball. Against the Raiders he was patting the ball like it was a pack of Newports! DB should get fined $1000 for every pat. DB plays scared football . He is afraid. How can you win with someone thats scared?

I don't care who comes in. I guarantee you Drew Bledsoe doesnt look for receivers. He probably stares at the D lineman coming at him for the first second or two after the snap and then looks up to find a receiver for a split second and then he pulls the ball down and braces himself for the hit. How you gonna complete a pass if your not look for open receivers?

If I were the defense I would take the so called offense and beat their asses all over the place. How much more can the "D" take?

He knows our D is solid. He doesn't like to throw on us. He likes to run the ball early and often but things in Oakland are different. He has a better QB but a worse running back. So I expect him to come out trying to run and when that fails he'll try to beat us in the air. The Bills should be able to handle their "O". The only thing we need to worry about is penalties and turnovers. If we don't beat ourselves we should win.

This team can't win with the style we used against JAX. We have to mix it up. Throw some slants, out patterns, go deep every now and then. Pound the ball with both Henry and McGahee and next time you feel like throwing to a fullback at the goal line make sure his name isn't Shelton. I'm sure McGahee could've played FB on that play. Use McGahee and Henry together a little bit more, even on run plays so that you don't telegraph a pass play when they are out there at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I want the Bills to run as much as possible, but not to the point where were playing not to lose. We have to play like we wanna win! Develop a winning attitude damn it!

Take it easy on the guy. I'm sick of Bills fans ripping on #22. That was a great catch by a great receiver. Where was the safety on that play anyways? If it wasn't for Clements the score would've been, Bills 3 Jaguars 6. We wouldn't have been in a position to win if he didn't get that INT. So get of his back. It wasn't the "D's" fault we lost that game. You can blame Villarrial or Moulds or even Lindell for that loss, but Clements? No way.

to play man to man. I like our chances with our "D" against their "O". The Bills should be able to hold Oakland below 17pts. My only concern is can we score more? If our running game gets stuffed, what then? Can we pass? I'd like to say yes but, Bledsoe hasn't been good on the road (2-10 on the road). So what gives us a better chance of winning. Our ground game against Sapp and Mt. Teddy or our passing game against their secondary? It'll probably take a little bit of both.

Maybe a change to the old will help. I like the new ones, but the Bills are more like the Bills with their old uniforms on.
