It's a good thing. I like rookie mistakes.

This team can't win with the style we used against JAX. We have to mix it up. Throw some slants, out patterns, go deep every now and then. Pound the ball with both Henry and McGahee and next time you feel like throwing to a fullback at the goal line make sure his name isn't Shelton. I'm sure McGahee could've played FB on that play. Use McGahee and Henry together a little bit more, even on run plays so that you don't telegraph a pass play when they are out there at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I want the Bills to run as much as possible, but not to the point where were playing not to lose. We have to play like we wanna win! Develop a winning attitude damn it!

Take it easy on the guy. I'm sick of Bills fans ripping on #22. That was a great catch by a great receiver. Where was the safety on that play anyways? If it wasn't for Clements the score would've been, Bills 3 Jaguars 6. We wouldn't have been in a position to win if he didn't get that INT. So get of his back. It wasn't the "D's" fault we lost that game. You can blame Villarrial or Moulds or even Lindell for that loss, but Clements? No way.

to play man to man. I like our chances with our "D" against their "O". The Bills should be able to hold Oakland below 17pts. My only concern is can we score more? If our running game gets stuffed, what then? Can we pass? I'd like to say yes but, Bledsoe hasn't been good on the road (2-10 on the road). So what gives us a better chance of winning. Our ground game against Sapp and Mt. Teddy or our passing game against their secondary? It'll probably take a little bit of both.

I don't have another. What I meant by bthat statement was. Who would you trade from the Bills' roster. I guess I should've added a ?. None of you even mentioned the point that I made about having a dominant lineman would be more helpful to the team than TKO and that the $ would go to better use. BTW. Other than the first NE game when has he ever had a game changing impact that resulted in a win?
-
First of all, he is mobile. If you ever watched Pitt then you see the QB on the move with bootlegs and rollouts. JP of course, can provide that. JP will also cover up the O-lines inability to pass protect. He is a threat that the "D" cannot ignore and if they put a spy on him that opens up the passing game to which JP is capable of doing, because of his strong arm and quick release. MM likes to run trick plays. Which QB of the two has the athletic ability to pull it off? JP is a rookie, so he doesn't have old habits that are hard to break. Did you ever hear that saying " You can't teach an old dog new tricks ". JP doesn't apply to that, but Drew does. I definitely think JP will put up more points for Buffalo.
-
He's not worth the loot. I'd rather trade the guy for a 1st round pick or two. Use that money on a dominant center or tackle, like Orlando Pace. There are a couple of FA lineman available next year and I believe they will fill more of a need than TKO.

MM's system fits JPL better. I really think the Bills did the right thing trading for this kid, even if the pick turns into a top ten pick, because the kid is gonna be a baller.

That's it. I'm moving back to Buffalo.

I agree. Good post.

Donahoe, I've supported you this far

I agree. Cut his a@@ quick. That guy sucks. I hate him. He's garbage. Excuse making baby. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: -
or is it because it happened against the Jags, who should be no better than 8-8? I say absolutely. If this happened against NE instead of Jax, I'd be feeling pretty good right about now. My positive take on this loss is every year every single NFL team losses a game they wasn't supposed to and wins one they aren't supposed to. Hopefully this is our one. Over a 16 game schedule things balance out. I still project the Bills to finish with 9 wins.

With the Bills pounding the ball, which I do like, but they should be able to find some single coverage or at least catch a safety playing the run too hard and strike with a deep pass. Is it because the Bills have no faith in O-Line to hold up their blocks long enough to get off a deep pass? Evans and Moulds have the speed, why not use it? I like the fact that the Bills are gonna run it this year, but you can't be too stubborn. You might as well telegraph your opponents your game plan. Even Dallas went deep from time to time. I would also like to see Euhus get some "PT". He looks like he has the speed and hands to strech the field. Come on guys get creative.

This will probably get me in trouble but, can you envision this team winning @Oak, vs. N.E., @N.Y. and @ Balt.? I don't think so. I forsee a team that starts weak but finishes strong. 7-2 in the final 9 for a 9 & 7 record. I even see us winning 5 straight at the end of the season and I think that JPL will have alot to do with that winning streak as well as the offense jelling and learning the system. If that's good enough for a playoff spot, I don't know.

If any fans should realize its only Week 1..

How I wish I felt the same way but for some reason I have this sour, bitter, disgusting taste in my mouth that won't go away. -
the most blame for this loss?
Justice replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't blame Drew for this one. Chalk this one up to Lindell, the turnovers and the D. The one play Drew messed up on was not throwing the ball to Shelton and taking the sack. -
I agree. We did stop blitzing Jax and I don't know why either. The blitz was working. I don't like Jerry Gray much. This isn't the first time his defense gave away the game at the end and it probably isn't the last.

That's what I said. He is a year away.

The music city miracle? The pass interference call in New England? Flutie's Fumble in Miami? Wide right? Super Bowls 26, 27 and 28? I say this one hurt me the most because this was week one, the Bills totally outplayed Jax and they converted three 4th downs in one drive. All my friends are praising Leftwich. I say he was lucky. Who throws a bomb on 4th and 14? Who throws into tight coverage with three defenders on one guy? That's not good that's luck.
-
His style of being more patient in finding holes seams to be more effective. When his burst comes back he will be a special player. That being said, he still is a year away. The future is looking good fellas, Losman and McGahee will take us to a Super Bowl. MARK MY WORDS!

I expected the Bills to lose to Oakland. Now that game is a must win. If we win that one then we are right where we need to be. Do I think we can win? Sure, but we'll have to make our kicks , stop getting penalties , stop turning over the ball and play with some damn heart when the game is on the F'in line.
