@Mike in Horseheads remembered this. I had mentioned in the 1.0 Draft thread that I missed my 3rd round pick, because partly I was at work. Yes. I am working. My wife owns a literacy center that specializes to children and adults who fit the Dyslexia profile. On the same day for their own personal reasons, her Office Manger and Services Coordinator submitted their resignation. So she came up to me and simply said "do you want a job"? So I am filling both roles as my wife's Office Manager and Services Coordinator. I told her a week into this, that there is no one that would be as invested as me to see the company succeed. That is happening. We have cut non-employee spending from 65% to 17% of all income. A number of private pay clients were not getting billed for a number of reasons. I went to work and now we are nearly at zero of private pay clients who owe money. (We were over $4000 a month. We also have clients to where their school districts pay for services). We were able to give her teachers a very nice pay raise, and I'm in line to greatly increase my pay as early as next week, as well of substantially bumping my wife's pay. Her accountant is happy with me lol. We have a strong marriage, and much to my amazement (and hers), we have a strong business relationship as well. PTO is also a breeze. I can simply roll over in bed and ask, "Sweetie, wanna play golf tomorrow?"

Sorry I missed my pick. Work then band rehearsal had me signing on late.

Ovi's record. Smth like that in NFL?

Who is going to be Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 wins in a Major tournament? Tiger has 15, and I think Tiger is just about done. Maybe Scottie Scheffler can do it? -
NEVER!!! Main and Hamlin is superior.

To add to this: Now mind you, these are all places that are going to be in East Aurora. We live almost exactly in the middle in between East Aurora and Orchard Park. We ALWAYS make the right out of our driveway and to into East Aurora. Pizza: For pizza at home, Pizza Del Aurero's. They do have a cool 50's retro sitting area. For dine in, this place has won national awards for being open for only a year. Pizzeria Florian. Wings: Bar Bill is where all the tourists go. Main and Hamlin is where all the locals go. Their Beef on Weck, Smash Burgers, and Chicken Crunch sandwiches are also amazing, but the star is the Wings. Fish Fry's are huge here. Wallawines Tavern is a good spot for a really good Fish Fry, but our favorite is Riley Street Station. Crunchy yet most and flakey fish, to go with great sides. The vibe in there is also really great. My wife and I can't understand this, but the place in East Aurora that is packed the most is Pasquale's Italian. It's good, but not earth shattering, and every weekend you can't find a parking spot for at least a quarter of a mile. 189 Burger (which is owned by Bar Bill) has the best burgers in EA. Really cool industrial vibe when going in. The burgers are top notch. For fine dining, Rick's on Main is the spot. Really great food with a great atmosphere. One place that has bounced back and has good bar food is Rookie's Sports Bar. Fun place. They went through a number of ownership changes. The new owners have found a groove with that place.

A little makeup, and I would.

Trades are in subsequent drafts. This mock is a no trade draft.

Are you an NFL GM?

With the 64th pick in the TSW 1.0 mock draft, The Eagles select: Clay Webb - OL - Jacksonville St. The Eagles want to open up even more holes for Saquan. Clay Webb will fit right in with his strengths in run blocking. He can be an adequate pass blocker, giving Hurts enough time to find an open A.J Brown, Davante Smith, et. al. Round 3 starts, and the NY Giants and @Big Blitz are on the clock.

The BFLO Store has a lot of Bills clothing for sale. Also Bandits (yes) and Sabres (why?) If you're in East Aurora for Bar Bill, less than half a mile away is Milliard Fillmore's Birth Place. Someone mentioned Theodore Roosevelt's Inaugural Site on Delaware Ave. But to get the full experience, Go to Fordham Drive in Buffalo, and in the grassy median is a stone marker, marking the site where President William McKinley was shot. "In the grassy median of Fordham Drive, five houses west of Lincoln Pkwy. When the weather's warm look for the flowers and little American flags." https://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/32297 Edit: After searching on Google Maps, it's 30 Fordham Drive.

It's a dang good thing I went for an eye exam yesterday. When I read your original message, I read it a CSNY - Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. CFNY was an absolutely fantastic station. I'll have to talk to our rhythm guitarist to see if he listened to it back in the day. The rest of the guys are originally not from this area. (Keyboard/Lead singer - Boston, Drums/Lead Singer - NYC, Lead Guitarist - Philadelphia)

He gave each of the lineman 20 hot wings from Bar Bill. They asked for 50 wings each, but Josh was on his previous contract and a little cash short.
-
Fans, yes. But I highly doubt we would do any of their songs. We talked about adding some Yacht Rock songs into our set list, but that idea faded. As what was talked about earlier in the thread, the bands people come to see and spend money at, are plying Bon Jovi, Journey, and the like. We're shifting more towards that, but not totally diving in. (Adding Cuts Like a Knife, 867-5309, Jessie's Girl, but also still doing Personal Jesus, Million Miles Away, Psycho Killer, and Dangerous Type).

Topping-out ceremony for new Buffalo Bills stadium
Draconator replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Isn't it kinda weird that they had the topping off ceremony for the last piece of steel, yet when you look at the live cam, it's obvious they still need to place more steel? -
I get it. A band like ours, although talented, won't bring in the money you need. I'd like to say at this point, but that's because I'm very proud of our band. And yes. Hit N Run and Nerds do have the following you're after. (Which means money). Have you considered some of the more popular country bands? (West of the Mark, 90 West)
-
There's Hit N Run and Nerds Gone Wild, who play in front of about 1,000 people at volunteer fire company beer festivals, and make ungodly amounts of money that play those types of songs. They do their thing, we do ours. (Not to sound salty. Hit N Run has had members of our band up on stage jamming with them).

We used to do Dead Mans Party when we had a female lead singer. That song is just a bit out of the range for our keyboard/male lead singer. When we were learning it, we had a saying within the group. "***** Danny Elfman".

A third Highmark Stadium is being built in East Aurora. As East Aurora residents are (think) they are far superior to the rest of WNY, and must do better in everything, which include Pickleball courts, outside BBQ by restaurants in residential areas, and pot holes. (Yes, I am a East Aurora Resident. The East Auroraian Facebook page is hilarious!)

With the 32nd pick in the NFL/TSW Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select, Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss. The Eagles proved how to win Super Bowls, with a stellar Defensive Line/pass rush. Nolen will add to that process with his explosive first step in getting to the quarterback. This ends the first round. Round 2 and the Cleveland Browns are on the clock.

You won't believe how many bands currently in Buffalo play that as well as other "standards" and get top dollar. We won't go there.

Gauging interest in a 12 person TBD Dynasty League
Draconator replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Me love you long time baby -
I have all the keyboard patches for Camera Eye. But no way in hell I'm logging my 50 lb keyboard to gigs for one song. (Korg Nautilus are great keyboards, but notoriously heavy. I should have bought a Nord Stage 3).
