Madden hasn't innovated in the past 4 years, why would they start when they have exclusive rights? ----------------------------- I really don't know how much more they can improve the game. If you put the AI all the way up it's a challenge against almost any team. And we are talking about two base platforms( Xbox and PS2) that are pushing four years old. Also, don't forget that EA makes NFL Street which has a very big following for arcade style fun football.

Fez, To say that EA is going to stop making a good quality game is a weak assumption. They now have EXCLUSIVE rights to the hottest sport in the country. The NFL has the right to pull this association at any point if EA is not meeting the quality that the NFL expects. And personally, I don't think there is a better NFL game than Madden. I tried 2K and didn't enjoy it. But, to each his own. I can understand you being upset considering your league is played on the 2K platform, though.

I don't see how losing your 2B, SS and C can't have an effect on your team. Middle infield is your nuts and bolts. I mean, how many times did we hear about how great the D of the Cards was compared to everyone else? Now 3/8 of that is gone and it's not a big deal????

As I said before this summer is going to feature the 6th version of a movie that has been made perpetually worse since 1977 (Star Wars), a movie that has been made at least three times since 1990 (Batman), ANOTHER lame ass comic book movie (Fantastic Four) and a movie that was great to begin with but needs to be redone?(Wonka)

I still play basketball twice a week during the winter and softball during the summer. I'm average at both sports and played in HS along with football. I'd stick with basketball if you enjoy it. I find it much more "fun" in the sense that I go to get away from the wife, get rid of some stress and get some excercise. I like to compete as well, but not to the level where it's all I'm playing for. My experience with softball is that no matter who you play with, people end up taking it WAY to serious.

The Mets are going to blow? I doubt it. If it's true their starting staff is going to be Trachsel, Glavine, Pedro, Zambrano and Benson. They still have a lot of holes to fill offensively but they have the money to do it. But, watch out for David Wright folks. The kid is going to have a MONSTER year.
