Literally just said this exact phrase to my wife.
And they added Gronk to that group - meathead central.- 1

Is this Olsen and Burkhardt? This tandem is underrated - this has been an expertly-commentated game so far.

Your Pace pick is pretty legendary. He legit was a monster this year.

Suspect Terry has been the one banging the table.

I treat it like any other party - I puke all over the place then leave in a huff and pretend it never happened the next day.

“ultimate”? “referendum”?

The Bills need Allen's sheer willpower + the homefield crowd to cancel out, and overcome, the Chiefs' advantages wrt coaching (both sides of the ball). It's doable.

Playing short handed on D, against that offense, with a fill-in punter and a kicker who has the yips - McD and Brady need to plan for four-down football. They should be mixing in running plays on third down and be prepared to go on fourth whenever they get past the 50.

Sounds like the recent “respiratory illness” is a cover story - perhaps he’s deep in rehab. Let’s hope for his sake.

They scored in 35 seconds, 5 plays, but from the Bills 33 yard line. Also when you are starting deep in your own end inside two minutes your first couple of calls are going to be more conservative. I don't think they score a touchdown from a punt. They might have scored a FG.
Being conservative is bad if you are playing a team who can score quickly. Pittsburgh couldn't. They should have played conservative.
I still wouldn’t punt - too many variables for an expected outcome of an 11 yard change in field position. But I’d definitely call plays like you’re in 4-down territory and they definitely should’ve run the ball to get down to the two minute warning - Romo was right about that. -

The premise here is that half the board was calling for McDermott to get fired mid-season so we could try to bring in an elite coach like Tomlin, McDaniels, Sirianni, etc.
There were posts upon posts of how the Bills just paled in comparison to top-tier organizations like the Eagles and how we could never hope to truly compete with them.
And here we are, onto the divisional round, and every TBD darling save for the 49ers are home on their couch.
Half of the Steelers boards have been calling for Tomlin’s head all season. Goes with the territory. -

You accused me of “subtext and gaslighting.”
I guess I’m accusing you of the same, because you didn’t flat out say I was a racist.
I am accusing you of pot-stirring, which I think you get joy out of doing here. The premise here is that Tomlin isn’t elite because he took a third-string QB to the playoffs? What? -

Yeah because that’s insane to accuse me of subtly implementing RACIST subtext because I think McD is just as good a coach as Tomlin, McDaniel, Sirianni, Harbaugh, Stefanski or whoever is the next coach du jour.
I reported your post. You should probably never read or respond to me again.
I didn’t call you a racist, go ahead and report me. I am accusing you of pot-stirring. -

???? what lmao
Exactly as predicted. -
I’ve heard it speculated that Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t attempt higher-risk throws in clutch situations because he didn’t want to risk high INT counts that could disrupt his MVP chances. Which tracks.

If Mason Rudolph is the answer for them going forward, isn't it a massive failure from a talent-evaluation standpoint that it took them 6 seasons to see that?
He is playing better? Players improve. -
The premise of this “thread” is that Tomlin has been anointed and built up by the media as “elite” when he doesn’t deserve it, whereas other coaches like McDermott have been torn down by the media when they’ve got similar or better credentials.
Of course, there’s a subtext to this “theory” - there always is with this particular poster - but if anyone called it out he’d act all shocked. “What? Oh no, I wasn’t saying THAT, why you must be reading into it, that’s a YOU problem!”
Been years of this type of gaslighting by this particular poster. Years.

What about pleading the refs to throw flags? Mahomes’ constant politicking should get flagged.

I'm not trying to diminish the greatness of Josh Allen. He's awesome. I think that was a fake....alot of people (outside Buffalo) do. I'd like to see this aspect removed from the game. the slide is a rule to protect the QB...and it shouldn't be exploited by anyone. I understand the late hits on slides are judgement calls and sometimes the defender just can't stop...other times they are tyring to get a shot in. I get that Mahomes benefits from this rule on the sideline because players don't want get the 15 yard penalty and Mahomes will get an extra 5 out that circumstance.
Congratulations on the win. I am excited for the upcoming game adn I know the mafia is fired up to be hosting this in Buffalo. Should be a fun week leading up to the game. I'm looking forward to seeing Mahomes on the road for the first time in the playoffs. Hopefully there won't be any bad calls etc that swing the game one way or the other and it's settled on the field.
It would be impossible to enforce as a rule. Because of plays like that - Allen slowed down but never started to dip. You’re just using a bad example for a rule that would be impossible to implement. And you’re doing it right after a huge win for this fanbase.- 1
