This is exciting that so many here are running with this idea, especially CableLady! Anything in the endzone would be awesome! I know we made a huge impression on TKO in 2k2 and he always talked about how awesome the response was from the fans. We definitely have the ability to make our voice heard on Sunday! Try to contact anyone and everyone you know going to this game, lets get as many signs out there as possible, letting Bill know how much we want him here! The 12th man is the greatest fanbase in the NFL and we can pull this off!

Anyone going to the game Sunday planning to take any signs to show Buffalo Bill Cowher some love? The game is on CBS, so it'd be nice to get some camera shots of signage back on the halftime/postgame in the studio for Bill to see. Lets show Cowher some love a la TKO in 2k2!

You're not kiddin brother! Ye Ole' was wondering about that himself. Like at first he was just sporting a little shine, then about half way in it was all over and Thurmal couldn't control himself. Wiping his brow with coat sleeves nonstop... full force and what not. But they sure mentioned Bill Cowher's name a lot during this presser.

My 2 cents on this are: this indicates a big name HC is coming. This a very odd time to name a GM. New Years Eve on the week BEFORE the last game of the season? This indicates they are wanting to strike quickly to get things settled. Coach Sal's source had the Bills talking to Cowher the past several days, perhaps settling the front office situation was part of his concerns/demands?

I agree with your sentiment. We have to pick and choose. But, I will say that if we could get Lebeau back, I'm all for it. Some of the rest of OP's plan, I'm not so sure about.

It would be great to get Lebeau back. Ryan Mallett is beyond awful. He will have no future in the NFL.

JR, this is the first I had heard that Cowher's wife forced him to quit in Pittsburgh and move to a warmer climate. Where was this reported? Now you and I know hittin that US-23 corridor up from Ann Arbor to Brighton and Howell, the winter weather can be a biznatch, especially when 96 turns into a parking lot and backs up all the way back to 23. But that being said, we're northerners through and through, we love the harsh winter. It makes us strong! And so too is Bill Cowher! He would never quit in the face of harsh winters... would he?

What I found interesting about this article is Freddie said he's been sporting D3 on his eye black since he broke into the league and nobody said anything about it. Truth be told, I always noticed he wore the eye black, but I never made it out to be any particular wording. During the telecast, however, it was mentioned that he wears that to represent D3. It was the first I'd heard of it, and I bet the first the NFL had noticed it as well.
