  1. You should subscribe to or use better research material. SIRI was as low as 2.01 as recently as 8/11/04 and again on 8/12/04. In fact it has traded below $3 in Jan, Feb, Mar, May, Jun, Jul, Aug and Sep of this year. Averaging in at 2.5 means that you buy more at 2.5, not that you'll have an average of 2.5. I hope you make money, I'm not pointing these things out with the hope that you lose money! I'm just saying that the stock has serious resistance at the $4 range, if it breaks the 4 to 4.25 tops it could make a nice move. The opposite is also true, that a fall below 3.50 almost certainly means 3 and possibly 2.5. That is why I said I would take a small position now and wait to hopefully pick more up at a better historical valuation. It seems to me that you're buying a stock very near to its recent highs and that you right now have more downside than upside exposure. The news about Stern has been out for some time now and he will not produce significant revenues for SIRI for some time. SIRI has been issuing large quantities of new stock, much of which is being given to the top management at a cost of $0 per share. The stock is also still trading below $5 which prevents the vast majority of mutual funds the ability to invest in it. I take these things as being a potentially bad sign, but hey, what do I know, I've only been professionally trading stocks for over 12 years now. MBD I truely hope that you make a nice tidy profit, just play the stock, don't let it play you. Good Luck!
  2. I'd say the only for sure on our team is moorman. BOY DOES HE DESERVE IT!! On the outside looking in are mcgee and spikes, and way outside looking in are moulds and mcgahee (his getting in would mean great things about our offense for the remainder of the season).
  3. Be careful if this trades below 3.5 it would be a fast trip to 3. If you did some good due diligence and you're comfortable owning this company long term (2-3 years), be ready to buy some more at 2.5 to 3. Personally, if I had some very expendable cash burning a hole in my pocket I'd open a small position here and hope to average in at 2.5 after the Stern hype has mellowed, and it drifts back down to its natural trading range. I think that this company will be around for a while, but most investors are looking for this company to start expanding its distribution base (automakers etc...) before increasing their current position. This is a good chart to check out.
  4. Those 8 rushing TDs are more than the Bills have had in their past 20 games!!!
  5. Oh my! Someone is posting something of REAL concern to counter one of Rudyc80's, " The sky has fallen and I can't get up." posts. Right now though MY biggest concern is whether or not we will be able to score a single rushing TD in a game before then. Hopefully the move to make McGahee a co-starter at RB will put the needed spark into our offense. I wonder if we'll have them both in the backfield together for 20+ plays against Arizona. Now that would be interesting!
  6. About 3-1 would be fair. I'll take that if anyone is interested. I need to make up for the $100 I am going to lose to stevestojan for betting the Bills will get less than 40 sacks this year.
  7. My God, WTF!!! Did Don Barone have a girlfriend from Buffalo who dumped him in a bad way, or is he just playing out the usual media hype that Buffalo is a "got nothing town" angle without checking it out! That was one of the most depressing descriptions of Buffalo that I have ever read! What really bothers me is the fact that Buffalo really does suffer from the lack of NHL games and the dollars that the games bring. What the owners and players are doing is just plain selfish and dumb! The sport already suffers from true national support and therefore lack of TV interest. The owners and players are playing a dangerous game of chicken with the fan, and it could well cost them the league or a good portion of it. Can you say, "contraction"? :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  8. I'm just getting the chance to watch the Monday night game (it's after 4 in the morning here) and they said the only 2 stadiums that were named after a real person was Paul Brown Stadium and Lambert Field... no respect for Ralph Wilson Stadium! I was just plain dumbfounded. You would think that the people who come up with, "The last time a team scored a TD from the opponents 45 yd line with exactly 3:25 remaining in the 3rd qtr of an AFC vs NFC game, on a Monday night, was back in 1982 when the.....", would be able to double check 32 NFL stadium names! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  9. I thought you were going to say a finely tuned and effective offense.
  10. I was thinking Kenny from South Park...because he gets killed every episode.
  11. Now there is an image that I really didn't need to picture. But what is worse, Drew's play so far this year or this? It's so bad that the eight TDs rushing Kansas City scored in a 56-10 win over Atlanta on Sunday match the number Buffalo has produced in its last 20 games.
  12. Boston fans think they've already won the World Series by beating the $Yankees. I am going to go out on a limb here...the Red Sox will surely lose THE World Series. Why? Well because they're cursed of course. Boston fan go climb a tree will ya.
  13. Did they have Ricky's "LGALZHRB" and "It's ALWAYS 4:20" t-shirts?
  14. I have to say when I read this I was thinking wow that would work out great for the Bills, but then I thought... ...Is Travis worth Ricky Williams, a #3 and 8.6 million? That's what the fish lose by trading away Williams. I don't think so because Miami's hopes for a playoff spot are next to nil. Why would they give away those number 1 and 2 picks for a lost cause? I think Travis has value to them in that he could provide them welcome relief to a severely depleted RB corps, both this year and the next several years. The funny thing about a trade like this is that it would take a Buffalo Bills fan, Travis Henry, and makes him a Miami Dolphin, while at the same time it takes a Miami Dolphin fan, Willis McGahee, and maintains him as a Buffalo Bill. At this point in the Bills season I think this trade doesn't look half bad on paper, BUT do we really want to give up Henry (re: our depth)? Do we really want Henry running against us 2 times a year? If we don't trade him now will we lose trade value? Travis is possibly going to be delegated to back up duties this week due to injuries, if Willis has a great week does the real RB controversy begin? How much distraction will that be for a team trying to figure out which way is up now? No matter what the outcome is of this "rumor" is, it will create a plethora of repetitive posts and opinions.
  15. Well at least someone got to play hockey last night! Shame on the NHL and the players for letting this happen! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  16. 1) key words, "again if healthy" 2) I just can't decide whether to agree or not (thankfully I'm not the GM). Travis always starts to shine after the 3rd or 4th game. The disclaimer to that is Travis might be cut down drastically on the number of touches that he gets. I think that fewer touches will have a huge impact on his yds/att and obviously his overall contribution to the offensive production, which is of course not conducive to trade value. 3) key words, "shown signs". This statement scares me! In no way can that be taken as a he is 100%, so we have complete faith in him. 4) If this gives and Henry is traded before the season ends, this will more than likely result in a draft choice. I think that TD has made it perfectly clear (in a blurry way) that this is McGahee's job to lose in the short and long term (as in the next 0 to 12 games). So Henry is probably on his way out. I don't think that we will get anyone of true value in a "trade Henry vs. another player and +/- draft picks". A first round pick has to sound tempting for Henry now during midseason at OBD. The fact that we are now 0-4 displaces any logical thought in this matter. There is now way at this point of the season to decide whether or not we have a team better served by a high draft pick or a team that can somehow make a run at the playoffs. 5) I don't think it did much for cap space, but you have to wonder what the plan is for the vacancy. 6) Thank god!
  17. This is the reason people put their name on the do not call list!
  18. My thoughts exactly...A bowling ball shot = RJ = 7 SACKS IN A GAME = A MARKETING PROJECT for some poor dweeb fresh out of the twilight zone. They could at least provide a better script!
  19. HMMMM I'm not sure he could play tackle, BUT we could run a fake punt every play!
  20. I feel your pain, BUT to abandon your team and say, "Just dont see any reason why I just dont walk away and find a new team at this point.", I say :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: . At least we're not fish fans! While being 0-3 is damn frustrating, I don't think that we're as bad as all that! Today I woke up and knew I had a great day ahead of me. What is bad is that we just don't have that killer "closing the game offense". I've been a Bledsoe backer since day one, and while I don't blame him for our poor offensive play overall, I do blame him for not stepping up and becoming a leader of this team! Our offense showed some life for the first time this season and there was no follow through by the players. A great play followed b some lame to mediocre ones.
  21. I like our 6% sales tax, add to that no state income tax! Now if the state would just draft some laws banning hurricanes all would be well here in paradise!
  22. Boo Hoo!...Cry me a river! See ya! Wouldn't want to be ya! I agree that everyone should have the right to speak their mind here without fear of nasty remarks. This sob story of why you think that you need to become a team swap ping wh ore is pathetic and deserves to be ridiculed. All loyal and die hard fans share several common traits. Their love for the game, an unbreakable bond to their team and sticking with their team through the thick and thin are the traits that make a true fan. If you really believe in what you wrote then maybe football isn't really for you (or hockey, or baseball, or basketball). Maybe it is time to become a fan of curling. Then again if you decide to become a Bills fan again, I'll welcome you with open arms, until you make another comment like this!
  23. Way off base about Peters ability to move on his feet. He runs a sub 5 on the 40 and all the hype on him has been about his speed and maneuverability for a guy his size. I could see Peters playing RT (assuming he panned out), Teague at LT, Williams at LG, a FA at Center and Villarrial at RG. Then again I can see a lot of different possibilities on the OL.
