  1. Actually, until you provide some proof whatsoever that those are actual passer ratings, you're referring to numbers that you made up.
  2. Apparently reading comprehension is not your strong suit. I didn't ask for the formula: The STATISTICS, not the FORMULA.
  3. Still no source on that number?
  4. I thought he was just a troll at first, but I think you may be right about this. He's got some psychological issues.
  5. Ah, I see. So the answer is "no," you cannot provide the statistics that went into the formula to create that number. You made it up.
  6. I still have my doubts about the validity of that number, but might I ask why you're including all passes over 20 yards in a discussion about "long balls?" You earlier classified "long balls" as passes that travel over 45 yards in the air.
  7. Could you show us the statistics that led you to that QB rating? I don't mean to doubt your credibility, but you've shown in this thread that you're a borderline sociopath, so I wouldn't put it past you to make a number up out of thin air.
  8. Like his placing in the top 5 in attempts, completions, and completion percentage on passes thrown over 40 yards.
  9. Yes, my buddy's stats show that while Brady was 3rd in the NFL in completion percentage on passes thrown over 40 yards in 2004, neither McNabb nor Culpepper were in the top 5. Varying degrees of effectiveness, indeed.
  10. Yes, which was backed up by a number of statistics, the most recently posted of which states that Brady was in the top 4 in attempted passes over 40 yards, completed passes over 40 yards, and completion percentage on passes over 40 yards. Which proves that Brady is a frequent and consistent deep ball passer. Understand yet?
  11. He apparently "aired it out" 40+ yards 16 times during the regular season. If you want to know the games in which these passes were thrown, look through game logs yourself. You seem to have a lot of free time on your hands, if you can afford to waste so much of your day trolling an internet message board with obvious falsehoods.
  12. Based on ATBNG's stats, all of them were top 4 in the NFL in terms of passes attempted over 40 yards, passes completed over 40 yards, and completion percentage on passes over 40 yards. So they're all deep threat QBs, obviously.
  13. What have you to say about "long baller" Culpepper throwing only one more deep pass than Brady in '04, and completing the same amount? And what have you to say about your claim that true "long ballers" throw 6 long passes per game (over 16 games, that's 96 per season), when the NFL leader had only 25 (1.6 per game), and when the top 5 averged just 18 (1.1 per game)?
  14. Instead of doing that, why don't you compare Bledsoe's offensive numbers in the all-powerful Belichick/Weis/Patriots system to Brady's?
  15. I was responding to a post ABOUT THE PATS to someone who ISN'T YOU.
  16. Are you actually comparing Deion Branch to Terrell Owens? Don't get me wrong, I love what Branch brings as a player and he's proven to be a great big game guy, but his talent level is not close to Owens'. The guy's 5'7", for crying out loud! Nice straw man there. So with comparable offensive talent and superior defense around him, McNabb has consistently led his team to be 1-2 games worse than Brady's? But if McNabb were on the Patriots, he'd have led them to 5 Super Bowl wins? Not sure I follow your logic.
  17. You have been revealed as completely and utterly wrong on this topic, AKC. Now stop trolling.
  18. Try comparing the two QB's offensive numbers, genius.
  19. I'm talking about the Pats and Eagles. Taking the QBs out of it, the Pats have less talent than the Eagles.
  20. T.O.? Ever heard of this guy? He's making headlines these days. Check out McNabb's numbers with a star-less WR corps (like Brady has).
  21. Drew Bledsoe's numbers in the all-powerful Belichick/Patriots system: 18 games/starts 597 attempts 352 completions 59% completion rate 3,691 yards 6.2 YPA 19 TDs 15 INTs 77.1 QB Rating 5 wins 13 losses That's one heck of a system.
  22. Yep, put him on a team with LESS talent, and he'd definitely do better.
  23. Link? And did this really need another thread? And since you have decided to abandon the argument in the thread in which it existed, can I take that as yet another concession of the debate?
  24. Why don't you name ONE SINGLE GAME in which ANY QB has thrown 6 deep balls by your classifications. If you're going to use that as a standard, you might as well prove that it's remotely realistic.
